Greetings, new friend.... A few details: I was widowed young, and remained a single mom raising 3 children, who have provided me with 5 grandchildren to enjoy. Have been professionally employed for several decades in the financial & real estate field, and still work full time. Enjoy my home and gardens, my family and my faith which has been a very large part of my life. I've been able to maintain a healthy, energetic lifestyle - Thank you, God! I am a Red Sox fan, politically conservative, open to debate but respectful of others' opinions, am well read, have a quick wit (puns anyone?), and can carry on a good conversation in a wide variety of subjects. You'll find that I am quite presentable in appearance, comfortable in a variety of settings and circumstances, but equally content working in the yard or curling up with a good book (or someone!!) I grow my own flowers, but won't mind if you bring some. We all have life experiences - that's what memories are for. I'm ready to make some new ones...are you?

I am very passionate about my family and friends. I love to dance and I am focused on staying fit and healthy. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors. I would travel just about anywhere. I enjoy all kinds of sports but I am also happy to curl up with a good book. The most influential people in my life have definitely been my parents. They have always encouraged me to be the best I can be at everything. I have a son with special needs who has also taught me more than I could ever imagine. I learned from him to always see the good in everyone.

I moved to MA a year ago after 25 years in CT. I closed my private pactice in neurology and now work in Worcester and have more free time to devote to meeting someone for companionship and ultimately a longterm relationship. I have been told I am down to earth and count getting along well with almost everyone as a gift. I had a great childhood in Brooklyn, NY and am very close with my two sisters and their families and my mother. My parents raised us to be honest, charitable and responsible. My faith life is very important to me. I am an EM and a Secular Franciscan. St. Francis and Pope Francis emphasize our role as part of creation and therefore we have a responsibility to each other and the environment. Jesus' message is simple, though not easy and it requires commitment and constant conversion. Two of my closest friends are Franciscan Friars who have helped me grow spiritually and to realize our call to social justice as Catholics. I consider myself a liberal, though I think labelling is silly as I know I am conservative in some areas and I don't like being "put in a box". I am a Mets fan first, then the Sox. I enjoy reading -historical fiction, spiritual literature and mysteries, movies, travelling, and getting together with friends. I love New England, especially in the Fall.
