Greetings to all! Some adjectives people use to describe me are "talented", "sweet", "funny", "wise" and "intelligent". I consider myself virtuous. Although I agree with those descriptions, I would include prudent, thoughtful and introverted. I am a professional singer, so I am also gregarious and bubbly, mostly in public. I converse easily with a wide variety of people. All that said, I enjoy the simple things in life. Living healthy, (with the occasional daily indulgence(s)!) I strive to live a balanced life of health and well being and helping others. I sing weddings, funerals, masses and local gigs. I love it! I hope to find a wonderful partner to share the rest of my life with and help our community together! I like movies, walks, music, theater, eating out, dancing, fitness, helping the community, drawing, & cooking. I look forward to doting on someone and vice versa. Making healthy food (and indulge too!!) for us, Of course I am open to having a family. I am open to GOD's path!! I love children. (I love animals, too!) Whether I am single, a spouse or a parent, I vow to strive to be the best witness of GOD on earth that I can!

My family and friends would describe me as a kind, compassionate, no drama, grounded person. I am those things as well as, communicative, confident, passionate and adventurous to name a few. Some of my best memories are time spent with family and friends. When not working I enjoy yoga classes, hiking at a local state park, and so much more. I'm always up for trying some new adventure; I'm thinking rock climbing not sky diving. Whitewater rafting would be fun to do again.

  • Elizabeth, 34 from Worcester, MA

Hello, all, my name is Elizabeth. I am an elementary educator and currently live in Central Massachusetts. I can be a little shy and reserved at first, but I open up quickly. Especially if you get me laughing, which isn't hard. I'm fun-loving, hard-working, independent, and love trying new things. My Faith is the most important thing in my life. For fun, I love getting together with friends or any one of my dozens of cousins - even if we don't have a plan. I love reading, especially novels, short stories, and lyric poetry. If you would like to know anything else, feel free to send me a message!

When people ask me, "tell me about yourself," the first thing I mention is my Catholic faith. It is my Catholic faith that is the center of my life and shapes me into the person that I am. Second, is my family and friends. I have been blessed with wonderful parents and 5 younger siblings who I am very close to. For my profession, I am a certified dental assistant. Working in the health care field can be a challenge, but I am very passionate about my job and I love my patients and the team of dentists I work with! As for hobbies and interests, I love skiing, watching sports, playing piano, reading, listening to music, going on walks, and playing card games. I might seem like a shy, quiet person at first, but if you really get to know me, then you will see the fun, energetic, bubbly side of me!

My daily life is very active. I enjoy my work as a nurse and meeting new people every day. I have a positive outlook and try to find the joy in my daily life. I don't over think situations, I like to keep things simple. My favorite activities are spending time outdoors, walking and hiking with friends. My favorite physical activities are swimming, tennis and basketball. I am trying to learn golf. My progress is slow, but I am going to keep trying. My family of three children and five grandchildren live nearby and getting together with them is always fun. We spend time at the beach every year together. I look forward to this experience every year. The ocean provides the biggest pool and sandbox and a place to contemplate and renew. I also love to travel and have had incredible trips to Costa Rica, Kenya, Medjogorje, BVI and Ireland. I hope to continue exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. The most important aspect of my life is my faith and taking time each day to reflect, pray and practice to the best of my ability the teachings of Jesus Christ.

A little bit about me... I am honest to a fault, down to earth, kind and caring. Not into games and drama. I do participate in volunteer work for a variety of organizations, as I enjoy helping those less fortunate than myself. I am adventurous, spontaneous, and love to travel (be it a day trip to the ocean in Maine, New Year's Eve in Time Square, or a safari in Africa - I love it all!) I enjoy dabbling in photography and all sorts of outdoor activities. I am not looking for something casual, but more so someone to share my life with.

Lots to say... here is a start. I work a full-time job in the field of education with many children with special needs, but I am not a teacher. My job is an ESSENTIAL part of my life, and I care more about my work and my students than I do about most other realms of my life. Currently working on improving myself (always working on improving myself) by cutting down my "working outside of work" hours to fewer than 10 hours a week. Yes, on average I work a 35-hour work week with an additional 10-20 unpaid hours of prep, editing, organization, and so forth. But I love my job and the students I work with, so that makes it all worth it. But my romantic life has suffered *cough*been non-existent*cough* because of my work. I LOVE people--find them fascinating, full of history and wisdom!--but I am fairly introverted and don't like superficial discussions; I crave realness. The show "This Is Us" speaks to me on SUCH a deep and human level... far more reality television than any so-called "reality TV" show has ever been. I HATE reality TV and don't care for most people who watch that crap regularly. Seriously... why? I hate gossip and talking negatively about others. I want to bring people UP and not down. I love performing random acts of kindness for strangers. I don't like wasting time on people I don't genuinely care about. Honestly, that is why I hate dating. With a passion. People are so phony and it drives me crazy. I will show you some of my best and worst parts of my personality right away--which me and my awesomely lovable but awkward friends love yet most people hate. I want to find someone... but you should know that I hate most guys and do not prioritize dating. Most men are either too nice, too awful, just want sex, are too boring, or too dirty/messy to me. I realize I am coming across as a horrible person with my views on dating! But I promise--I care so much about my students, family, and friends, that I simply do not want to waste time on people I don't genuinely care about with my whole heart and soul, and people who I can listen and learn from and people who respect and accept me for me. And people who GET me as opposed to put up with me. I love MUSIC; music is my life and without it, I would cease to exist. I love God; my faith is important to me (I try to attend church weekly) but I struggle with many Church teachings and feel that some seem outdated. LOVE is my fuel. Most of my friends are gay. I am bi.

I am very involved in 12 step Fellowship. I credit it for my return to the faith of my childhood without the fear and guilt. My son is the light of my life. Spending time with him and his beautiful wife is my very favorite vacation. On a daily basis I have a wide circle of friends and family around the world and in my local community who I see often and communicate with regularly. In the last few years some of my painting friends and their husbands have passed away. I miss them very much. But the loss of these relationships have inspired me to appreciate every day in gratitude.
  • Aleena, 27 from Worcester, MA

I'm currently working as a resident physician in MA. I am very passionate about my work and my career. I see my work as a physician as a calling from God and an opportunity to bring some goodness and healing into the world. When not at work, I enjoy relaxing with family and friends. My interests are many including the arts and theater, sciences, nature, politics, etc. In my free time, I am happy curling up with a good book, talking a walk or checking out a museum. At the same time, I am interested in learning and seeing more of the world, and am always up for a new adventure. I enjoy having a good conversation and learning something new about the world. I am open to new ideas and perspectives. My faith and my family are very important to me and I'm looking for a partner who shares this conviction. I consider myself to be compassionate and caring in nature, down to earth and with a positive outlook on life, and ambitious and passionate about my interests.
