29, Duluth, MNMy name is Mary and I am a fun happy person! I love spending time outdoors going for walks/taking pictures as well as spending time indoors playing board games or watching good movies. I enjoy reading and listening to/playing music as well. I grew up in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Duluth, MN when I was 19. I was born in Duluth and spent 5 wonderful years here before moving to Cincinnati. I love my faith and take it very seriously. I'm involved in the choir at church and sing in a polyphony choir too. Singing is one of my favorite things to do! Drop me a line if you would like to get to know more about me!
32, Sandstone, MNI grew up in St. Paul, but moved north to Sandstone, MN (north of Hinckley) when a teaching position opened up 5 years ago. I love music and teaching music, and I feel so blessed that I am able to do something that I love everyday! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I try to get down to the Cities to visit as much as I can. I love to travel, and have been to France, Italy, Austria, and most recently England, Scotland and Ireland to name a few. I also enjoy acting, singing, theater, movies, and outdoor activities including hiking, camping and skiing.
52, Brainerd, MNI am friendly and outgoing, with an enthusiasm and empathy for other people's stories, perspective, joys, and struggles. I regard myself as intelligent and quick witted. As much as I enjoy human interaction, I also need and enjoy "down time" to relax and recharge, either alone or with a trusted friend. I enjoy music, sports, movies, baking, and gardening. I am a modestly talented but enthusiastic musician with my church choir and I am a hockey mom of a goalie, so those are two ways in which I spend my time. In the summer, I enjoy being on the water and always enjoy the view. I also regard myself as hard working and take great pride in my lakehome, but as I get older, household projects are of less importance to me and it's more about maintenance, with the right handyman:). I am grateful for experiencing job satisfaction in the same field for 26 years. In the future, I would hope to take up a bit more travelling, with a good companion.
30, Bruno, MNI love canoeing and other outdoor adventures. There are 8 children in my family, I am the third oldest. Every spring I enjoy making maple syrup with my family. I am fun loving and appreciate a good sense of humor.
29, Duluth, MNHi! I'm a math teacher and was the youth minister at my parish for three years. I am passionate about working with kids. Outside of work, I like singing, dancing, playing card/board games, reading, convertible riding, and hanging with my family. I absolutely love to travel. I've been to Italy, Austria, Germany, China, Spain, Poland, and Czech Republic. Though my hobbies are limited I'm always up to trying out new things (just be prepared to be patient with me). I'm incredibly close with my small family and always want to stay near to them. We try to go to mass all together every week. Beyond that, I just am looking for a good guy who shares my values and would be willing to take a chance on me.
64, Grand Rapids, MNMy husband passed away suddenly in 2008. We enjoyed almost 34 years of marriage. He was one of the good ones. I have worked in Early Childhood Special Education for 30 years. Love the children but am looking forward to retirement. I enjoy cooking, good wine and the outdoors. Technology is a big part of my life as well as reading, music and the theater. Love to attend outdoor concerts and am partial to folk, bluegrass, and early rock and roll. I love to sing. My family is paramount. I have four grandchildren newborn to age 6 and I adore them. The feeling appears to be mutual I like most sports. I used to play a lot of golf and still play tennis . Politics is an important part of my life. Conservatives need not apply :-) Humor is very important to me in a relationship.
51, Merrifield, MNI have a wide variety of interests: I like gardening (particularly landscape), being outside, being active, hiking, biking, canoeing, and camping. I enjoy a rural lifestyle but do appreciate a special day or evening every now and then attending a theater production or some other event. I like to be creative sometimes and sew, crochet or cross stitch or learn a new craft (I just have tried my hand at mosaics, and I'd like to do a bit more). I keep bees, mostly because I think they are fascinating more so than for the honey. But I like to give the honey to family and friends or use it in baking or cooking sometimes and the beeswax is great for making candles. I tap my maple trees in the spring to get a few pints of maple syrup. I was introduced to harvesting wild rice last year and hope to do it again next year. I like learning new things and generally trying new things. My family of origin and my children have been the most influential in my life. I am looking forward to seeing the people my children become and having my life enriched by new additions to their lives through other people and experiences. I also look forward to further developing friendships, existing and new, and perhaps meeting someone with whom I can share life's joys and challenges.
51, Baxter, MNHi! Here we go......I'm a warm hearted, fun loving, outgoing woman with a sincere love of God and family! I am an Interior Designer and enjoy creating beautiful spaces for people. I love to cook and grow flower gardens. I'm passionate about the outdoors. God is an amazing designer.! Hiking, biking, fishing, boating are some of my favorite things to do. I lived on a lake for quite a few years. You never can take the lake out of the girl! I enjoy the coziness of home, but also love to travel too. I volunteer in youth ministry, and homeless ministry at my church. I look forward to meeting a gentle, stable faith filled man who loves God and his family with a fun sense of humor! Jesus I trust in you
26, Chisholm, MNHowdy! I'm a teacher who loves teaching. I'm very passionate about helping others and summer break can be a tad too long in my opinion. I'm also passionate about my hobbies, I love to be artistic, usually with painting. My faith and family have helped formed me to be the person I am, I don't know where or who I'd be without those two things.
33, Saint Paul, MNI think my friends would describe me as very determined and tenacious, balanced with being empathic and gracious. I am also an INFP, if you speak Myers Briggs. Currently, I'm finishing up a doctorate in clinical psychology. I am passionate about the integrative work of using theology and psychology to best understand and walk alongside those who are suffering. Most of my experience so far, and much of where my heart is, has been working with trauma survivors, as well as with underserved populations. I actually just moved to northern MN from Chicagoland for my pre-doc internship this past August! I'm enjoying serving the underserved areas of the Iron Range, but also glad to be closer to my family in the Twin Cities (I visit them often). Things I enjoy: the active outdoors (biking, hiking, camping, skiing, etc); Deep thinking, yet simple living (i.e. a quiet, reflective morning with coffee, a bagel, and a book); Traveling, exploring, and impacting lives and learning from the people around me. I also love books! From scholarly research to Harry Potter. I'm also into fictional stories that ignite the imagination with symbolism that speak depth and truth into the reality of everyday life. I love redemption stories and reading about historical "desert fathers" of Christianity and their practical application to the present. While I love academics and the field of psychology, I would love to also build a family, if and when I'm led toward that, and to contribute to leaving a legacy of serving others with compassion. I am open to discovering what characteristics and strengths in another person, as well as myself, that would compliment well in building a partnership. I am drawn, however, toward people with some amount of charisma or skill in relating well with a diverse social sphere, who are intelligent, and have an understanding or emotional maturity to embody compassion toward those who suffer or feel like an outcast, etc. To show forgiveness in relationships is a goal I would love to share with a partner. I would also like to simply enjoy life together (i.e. the ability to enjoy common interests, activities, conversations, and to be able to find laughter and humor amidst challenges, etc.). My desire is to embody the phrase, "Let us love in action and in truth" (from 1 John 3:18). Let me know if this describes similar values you have and/or if you have any questions. Thanks!
32, Nisswa, MNI'm a passionate person: passionate about my faith, my family, my relationships, and life. If asked, my family and friends would say I'm a very caring and very happy person. In 2013 I left my (very good) job and spent 14 months on mission in Ukraine, serving as a presence of compassion for the sick, the poor, and the socially isolated. This was a "school of love" as they say, learning to love and care about people in desperate situations. I still live parts of my mission in my every day life, in my heart and in my actions. If you get to know me I'll tell you more about my thoughts on having my own family. I would love to have children, biological or other, and love children very much. I've even looked into becoming an emergency foster parent. The thought of children not having someone to love them deeply and care for them breaks my heart. Perhaps this is more prevalent since my time in orphanages in Ukraine. Okay on a less serious note! I love to laugh! I love to have fun, tell stories, and be myself. My family has an excellent sense of humor, and I love that about us. There's a family photo on the wall at my parents in a frame that says "God's Favorite Sitcom" :-) My family is very near and dear to me. I live close to all of them except one brother, who is a priest assigned to a parish about 3 hours away. We're a very close knit, very loving, and very generous family. I hope that God blesses me with the chance to share a life with someone the way that my parents and family do.
