I don't like writing about myself, but here goes....I'm a well-educated, fit, emotionally, financially, spiritually, healthy person who loves to spend time with family and friends. I've never been a smoker and always been a very light drinker. Hopefully, I can find an empty-nester who shares common interests (biking, fishing, dancing, gardening, traveling, good music) and Christian values. Raised in a "rural" work ethic, I am quite curious, love to learn and be resourceful. ("Where is the next garage sale?"). Because I am semi-retired with lots of energy, there's time for new adventures....always more fun to share with someone special. My match might be someone who enjoys giving back to the community, too? Please drop me a note if you think we would make a good match. Thanks for reading my profile.

I am a joyful, spiritual, forgiving, good-natured widow that loves her weekends. I am honest and witty, low maintenance and often impulsive so last minute plans work well for me. Canoes, sunrises and sunsets, coffee on the deck, exploring the road less traveled and a roaring bonfire are a few of my favorite things. I enjoy working with teens through the Rotary STRIVE program. I also deer hunt and attend the Little Hole on Big Lake ice fishing contest annually. I'd rather push a lawn mower than a shopping cart and would like it if you are willing to join in the fun. I am officially an empty nester as my children started their first and second years of college. Thank goodness the old English springer spaniel I adopted is a good listener! (I'm pretty sure she's listening for anything that sounds like biscuit...) I don't drink and prefer if you don't either, though I do get a kick out of live bands, especially in the park. I enjoy making things, be it painting, sewing or woodworking, and am currently sewing activity "fidget" quilts for people with Alzheimer's. I'm a learner, so if you don't mind sharing your time and hobbies with someone, I'd love to see what you're working on.

    59, Sartell, MN
I am a practicing Traditional Catholic who prefers and attends the Latin Mass. I like to keep active and take care of my body as well as my mind and soul. I'm usually an outgoing, optimistic person. Enjoy going for walks, traveling, dancing, concerts, playing cards/games, campfires, fishing, hiking, good movies, dining out and the theater. I like many kinds of music---maybe classical and classic rock more so. I had a happy marriage....which ended only, as my husband died. My only regret....not being able to grow old together. Moving forward, I prefer to think and be thankful about all the great things I've been given and still have in this life. I'm looking for new directions in my future and other good things to come. Minnesota has been "home" and is OK for now.....but I wouldn't mind living someplace WARMER!

Hello! I am a graduate student studying speech-language pathology and graduating in May (finally!). I am passionate about helping individuals with communication disorders tell their stories. After graduation, I would like to work in a medical setting with individuals who have had a traumatic brain injury or stroke or in a pediatric outpatient setting. I am a dog-lover, an adventurer, and a lifelong learner. I am motivated, compassionate, and can be slightly sarcastic. I enjoy hiking, exploring state parks, traveling, camping, singing in the car with the windows down, bonfires, guacamole, and Christian music.

  • Stacy, 42 from Saint Cloud, MN
    42, Saint Cloud, MN
Oh boy... here we go! Hello! My name is Stacy and I'm a mom and a registered nurse ready to get this dating thing started. I am really hoping to find someone that appreciates a great sense of humor, old fashioned values, excellent communication skills , and a loving/affectionate partner. My faith is part of my daily life and very important to me. I would love to find someone that enjoys an active life--I love to fish, camp, go for walks, play mini golf (my favorite), and probably a lot of things I've never tried yet. If you like country music, good coffee, sincerity/honesty and are ok with laughing a lot then we should probably get to know one another. I'm pretty fearless and praying for the person I am meant to meet... isn't that cool? (I've been praying for you for a very long time). If you've made it this far and you feel led to connect. ..I definitely want to know! Thank you.

I am a living, breathing definition of the word contradiction. I get an affectionate shake of the head from everyone in my family frequently as they try to figure out how I could possibly be related to them. A large, Catholic, farm raised, hardworking, fun loving, big hearted family is what I come from (1 brother, 4 sisters). My family, immediate & extended, gets together more times during the year than what most families do, and we actually enjoy each others company. Which seems to be rare in families nowadays. Perhaps it because I spend so much time with family and friends that I cherish my alone time. There is an irony there because even when I am by myself it isnt really ever quiet. I have this habit of singing everywhere I go and, yep, I talk to myself too. My mom always joked that she knew where I was because if she couldnt hear me, she would just follow the trail of critters that followed me everywhere on the farm (usually cats & dogs). Now I sound like I belong on the Beverly Hill Billys Show. Though that might not be too far off. I aint never been accused of being a lady, however I am house broken and mind my manners in public. I feel as though these online dating sights can never really give you the insight into a person that you would get from actually talking to them. Questionnaires only give two options when I am both or more options than are available. Take for instance the pet query; like, love, or hate are usually the options. Where is the option that says I love animals, but dont want to be vacuuming up pet hair on a daily basis? I am inclined towards the belief that animals belong outside (or at most in the garage not the house). Then there is the money question: save it or spend it. Really?! Why cant people do both? Perhaps I like to go out to dinner with friends or spoil my nieces and nephews with treats. Cant a girl do that while squirrelling a little away for a vacation or rainy day? But, no, these sites dont allow you to be a little bit of everything. Hence my statement of being a contradiction. I can bake a cake from scratch or change the oil on my car. I hate water, but I loved the cruise I went on and plan to go on another. I enjoy the options the big city has to offer, but I love the wide open space of the country where your next door neighbor is a mile away. All of that is probably why I havent found someone that can put up with me and that I want to put up with. I need someone stubborn & fearless. Are you?

I am recently retired and now have the time to enjoy life and give back to my church community. I'm looking for someone who likes to travel, go to concerts and shows but also enjoys gardening and reading. I love kids and adore my two grandsons who sadly live over an hour away. I'm a sports fan and even enjoy watching golf, NASCAR and horse racing on TV. I love music and am a fan of the 50's and 60's. I do some volunteering at church and my faith is very important to me. I am looking for a companion who also wants to enjoy his "golden" years.
