I am a very caring and compassionate individual, who enjoys good conversation over a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine. Cruises and waterfront vacations are my favorite. I find much peace and beauty in watching the sunrise and set, especially when they are shared with someone. Faith, trust, honesty, and committment are values that I cherish and look for in others. I am a Saints and LSU fan and enjoy watching these teams play. I also believe that life is too short not to enjoy. God has a plan for each of us, sometimes we just have to be open to His plan.
  • Gerry, 60 from Gulfport, MS

I'm New Orleans native >> after 20 years in Dallas and 5 in Scotland, I've migrated south to beaches along MS gulf coast, to take a breather since nest has emptied, to re-connect, and look for the next step in the adventure. Hope to find a happy CATHOLIC co-pilot! I'm loving coast life and want to find a playmate who knows and enjoys this life (water), a sailing man would be fun. Catholic, fun, and free ... what can I say! ... if you asked people about me, they would have a lot to say, they'd surely use the words smart, funny, faithful. I don't meet a stranger, and at the moment live in an area full of retirees (beach), who think Im a genius because I can re-find their apps on their phones when they click something and delete or lose, which is frequent, LOL --> the word is out around town, Gerry is the phone whisperer :) I have treasured friends of all ages from every part of my life. Im very youthful in body, mind, spirit, much more youthful than most my age, which no one ever guesses correctly. Active & busy, health minded. Not a big tv watcher, don't have that kind of time to waste; bit of a news junkie. Serious, joyful Catholic. Im a difficult match but not a difficult woman :) Travel, culture, art/architecture, philosophy. Smarts & humor are key. Faithful & fun. Im smart/sound/comfortable financially and you should be too, please. I lean right on faith & politics .... if you lean left, please move along, life is too short. Im not a fighter, zero drama, & if you need either, Im not your girl. I believe a significant other is the person I want to be nicest and kindest to in the whole wide world, and if I don't also receive that in return ... we're just not a match. Want to cook together, laugh together, and roam the Earth with a curious, smart, funny, HAPPY, POSITIVE, playful, friendly faith-centered adventurer. Take me alongside and Ill do the same. I cycle & swim mostly. Not training for Olympics, but taking care of myself is a priority, body, soul, and spirit. I have a slightly intellectual/philosophical/serious side ... and humorous. Little bit rock n roll. I don't take myself too seriously, but there are serious and silly moments ... playful is a good word, maybe. Hope you too :) Im a substitute teacher at local Catholic schools and I paint (and sell) locally. Stay busy! Stop in and say hello -- best to all! .

  • Susan, 63 from Pass Christian, MS
    63, Pass Christian, MS
I just retired this past April from a job that I was basically married to. I've worked since I was 16 yrs old, raised 2 beautiful independent children who have college degrees and good jobs. I'm now at the point in my life where I can finally say that it's MY turn to put myself first and have fun while I'm still healthy and fit. I've enjoyed my life and don't regret any hard work I had to do to accomplish all the good things I've been blessed with today. Now that I have the time, I try to balance my life between family, working around the house and yard, church, volunteer work, exercising, friends and social activity. The only activity that is consistent for me at this time is: I work out at the gym from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. I volunteer at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in the Main Surgery Waiting room. And on Saturday nights I do not stay home. Some things I enjoy doing are dancing, going out to dinner, family gatherings, fishing, day trips, traveling, cruises, going to the gym, cooking, working in my yard, going to a movie, boating, spending time with friends, etc. I feel if you're with the right person it really doesn't matter what you do. I also enjoy the simple things in life. I've had fun riding a tractor in the woods or just going on a hay ride, or going to a rodeo. I enjoy going to nice places like a Carnival Ball or formal dinner. Yet I enjoy putting on an old pair of shorts and going fishing and crabbing or digging in the dirt in my yard to do some planting. I'm family oriented because I come from a good family. My parents and siblings are a big part of who I am and what I look for in a partner. How a man treats/treated his mother, children, or x-wife says a lot about him. I admire a man with integrity and confidence. And he would have to be honest and trustworthy as well. Being mentally and financially stable is also important.
