I love God and I am looking for someone who is strong in his faith and believes in living it out daily. I enjoy reading, the theater and just hangout out. I'm laid back and easy going.

I try to live out my Catholic faith in my daily life and believe that my faith is the greatest gift I have. I desire marriage and motherhood and believe that being a wife and a mother would be an ideal way to follow Christ's example of sacrificial love. Given that, I am also at peace with being single if marriage is not in the Lord's plan for me. In my mid-twenties I spent a year doing missionary work with a Catholic organization in Mexico, and I still have an attraction to that kind of work and that kind of simple lifestyle. I spent my late twenties and early thirties discerning a possible religious vocation. Having discerned that religious life is not my calling, I'm here hoping to meet a great Catholic guy. Unfortunately, Mississippi is only 3% Catholic, so maybe the guy I'm looking for is also on Catholic Match looking for me too :o) I've read a good bit of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body and I find the teachings to be very beautiful. I hope to be able to share and live these teachings with my future husband. I also seek to live out any potential dating relationship in a chaste way, and am looking for a guy who desires the same. I have a dry, witty, and self-deprecating sense of humor, as well as a tendency to name my inanimate possessions. I love the experience of a good thunderstorm, and on the flip side the sound of silence on a still night. I enjoy following politics, and particularly like watching political debates. I enjoy listening to music from the 40s through the 80s (except the 70s...for some reason, I just don't like 70's music). I love traveling and seeing new places, and in my spare time I just like to drive around with no particular destination in mind. I like cooking and baking too, and particularly enjoy making things from scratch (like cookies!). There's a lot more I can say, so feel free to send me a message.

Hmm...I'm a raised eyebrow of amusement, a twinkle of mischief and sarcasm in the eye, a girl that will [try] to kick your tail at Crash Bandicoot, someone that will not judge but will absolutely defend, a woman that will see you hurt and come hold you whether you want me to or not, someone that listens more than she speaks, but someone that when she speaks, speaks confidently. I show respect where respect is due, but authority figures don't intimidate me (get it from my dad, who once told a 4 star general from the Pentagon that his language training program stunk...and got away with it). I love creating: music, art, poetry, sketches, gardening, landscaping, building things, any form of artistry or constructivist activity is great. I enjoy the outdoors, and prefer the country over anything. God, mom, and dad are my best friends. While I can be goofy, I appreciate common sense. I like to get into philosophical conversations, but take your eyes off of me for 5 seconds and I'm just as likely to be hiding behind a tree playing Cowboys and Indians with the kids. The most important things in life are the little things, like laughing yourself silly over nothing, or waking each other up with coffee, or short-sheeting each other's side of the bed as a prank when you're 70 years old. [Be advised, I -will- eventually prank you in some manner, so you better be ready to bring your practical joke weaponry to the battlefield.]

I am passionate about living my life with integrity. I love my family. We do have our struggles, as all do. I play guitar and sing. I believe in treating each person I meet with dignity, although I struggle with this at times. I try to live up to my ideals on my job and in all situations. I like to read, watch TV, walk outside. I'm very impressed with Pope Francis. I believe he's a breath of fresh air to the world. I like to journal and read back over my journal entries to see the progress in myself and others. I love nature. I love the mass and look forward to hearing the scriptures proclaimed and the homily and participating in the Eucharist.

Wouldn't it be great to have one of your best friends describe you and reveal all your best and not so best qualities. Keeping this in mind, the following are just a few things that I think the people who know me best might say. My friends would tell you that I have an overwhelmingly large heart. Maybe it came from my Dad dropping us off at school and as we closed the door saying, "remember to be nice to everyone!" As a result I do not like confrontation and have a great respect for all life. I tend to be more quiet and shy around new people and often enjoy listening rather than doing all the talking. Decisions do not come easy for me....simple decisions, such as what to order at a restaurant, are the worst. If you haven't heard it you might listen to the Bud Light Real Men of Genius: Mr. Indecisive Food Orderer Guy... haha, kind of dating myself with that one! I spend the majority of my time on the golf course working in tournament administration or in the office working to promote the game. For the past nine years I have lived in Jackson and enjoyed this opportunity to work in something I love. When I am not working, I am probably starting an art project, spending time with friends and family, or doing something with our young adult group at church. I have been involved in the young adult group since moving to Jackson. Being involved with this group has given me a great opportunity to meet some amazing people who I continue to learn from. I could not be more thankful for the great friends I have. I now help lead the group and have enjoyed this opportunity to try to keep the young adults in Jackson involved in the parish or find opportunities for us to volunteer in the area. My four sisters and one brother are my best friends and have had the greatest influence in my life. We grew up in Memphis, Tennessee where a few of us still live. We have two nieces and one nephew who have brought a new joy to our family. Anyone can tell you, my family is certainly of greatest importance in my life. So, that is just a little about me.

I'm new to Jackson! I went to school to be an attorney and I hold my law license (Louisiana), but felt the call to go into education. I just finished up 2 years teaching first grade and I'm moving to a middle school where I'll be teaching 5th grade English and literature.

I am still fairly new to the Jackson area but am working on making it my home. I moved to Mississippi for work after finishing my education and can see myself staying in the area and being happy here. I am looking to meet people that share similar values to form new friendships, and if there is a connection with someone, to possibly start a relationship. Communication is very important in any relationship and is how you get to know and understand one another. So, let's talk.
