I've retired after 50 yrs...I've moved back to my home town, close to one of my sons....my family means a lot to me. Now I would like to take 3 or 4 day road trips ...planned or unplanned...like to be casual most of the time.......life is too short to worry or complain... I should paint that in large letters and hang it on the wall. I enjoy listening to "easy music" and country music is my favorite. I would like just to be able to have a good conversation with someone, just relax and watch the grass grow. But, to add to this, I think that I have had a lot of time to watch the grass grow... I've been alone too many years.I want someone to travel with me to places I've never seen.....someone to go to church with me, pray together, laugh together, cry together, and enjoy life! And after all this activity I want and need quiet times to read a good book ...fiction or non fiction,....as long as I can turn the pages ....

I'm a person of opposites...I love to sing and read. I can be very social--or very quiet--it just depends on the mood that I'm in. As I've gotten older, I've also developed an awareness that home is what you make of it. I moved around a lot when I was younger, but have now lived in the same "garden" apt. for seven years. Most people, in apartments are stuck living apartment style, but I'm fortunate to have a landlord who doesn't care what we plant around our patios, etc. as long as "it's not weeds" and I've discovered a growing interest in gardening. This year we even, have a small garden behind the apartments. I think I have grown the interest (gardening was a chore when I was a child) because plants offer problems that have simple solutions. It's very relaxing to watch things grow and to know that this is your accomplishment (and God's) I love to go places--museums, concerts, etc., but I hate to go alone, so mostly I don't go. I manage to see something about once a year or so. I have also decided that although there are a lot of places that I would love to see some time, I am never going to make a "bucket list" of things to do, and/ or places to see because I want to really experience the things that I do see--not just check them off of a list. Just as importantly, I don't want to spend time regretting the things that I haven't seen. I'm a very "low-maintenance" type of person. I dress for school or church and special events, What you see is really what you get! I almost never deck myself out in makeup and jewelry. I love to read--almost anything-- and I have a lot of books. More than half are children's books, but they include a bit of everything. I love to travel but don't have much opportunity with my work schedule. I especially enjoy "natural" travel that offers lots of opportunities for falling into water (rivers, lakes, whatever!) I love to debate issues and current events. I don't care if you disagree with me. I actually really like a good discussion with someone who disagrees with me.

I do not have a subcription right now; I am unable to communicate. I am a country girl. I was raised in a very loving family. As a family, we have survived some tragic events. Because of this, we are close. I am an RN. I enjoy seeing people regain strength and return home. I taught junior high for 14 years before making my career change. Teenagers are sooo fun. I have 3 cats that I love as if they were my children.I enjoy summer time because I can get outside in my flower gardens. I am not a fan of rain/clouds. I like to cook/bake. I am a crafty person who sews, decorates, and makes jewelry. I take my niece shopping periodically; we have a blast. I like movies, but don't go often because it's not fun to go by yourself. I like to dance and would love to learn ballroom.

Hello there! :) I am just loving life and trying to enjoy it to the fullest! I teach 4th grade and I absolutely LOVE MY JOB!!! I view it as a ministry that I was called to do. It is never boring and it's full of surprises. My other LOVE is music. I love it, love it, love it!!! I really enjoy cantoring for mass and singing for weddings and other events. Again, it is a gift I was given. So, therefore I use the gift the good Lord gave me. Other than that, I enjoy reading and hanging out with my family and friends. I enjoy musical theater quite a bit and really enjoy going to plays and musicals. Oh yea, my mother is my best friend. She is an angel, truly.

I love my God and savior, my Catholic faith, my 2 kids, animals of all types, being outdoors and active, relaxing by a fire or with a good book, the company of good friends, my job as a nurse, and being helpful to others. Since I initially wrote this, I have obtained my annulment and own my own place out in the country.

I was born in northern Iowa but have lived in Missouri for over 40 years. As I have been a widow for several years, I have tried to fill my time with walking, gardening, travel, reading, attending grandchildren's activities. I am the organist in our small country church and also volunteer at 2 food pantries & a pregnancy center. My work experience includes farming, banking, durable medical equipment, so know a little about different businesses. My five children are all self-sufficient in their own business or job. When the snow is flying on a wintry day a favorite activity is making cookies. My faith is important to me and I try to attend Holy Mass at least once during the week in addition to Sunday. I am considered mild-mannered, do not lose my temper over silly things besides being frugal and conservative. Family is important to me but my family all lead a busy life and so I am looking for someone special to share my life.

I enjoy the outdoors! Living on Lake Of The Ozarks has given me the joy of watching beautiful sunsets and amazing dinners on the deck. My father taught me the sport of fishing therefore fishing has become a part of my life here at the lake. I am looking forward to traveling in the years ahead and would love to find someone special who I could share that journey with. My faith has brought me so many blessings, just a few of those are my children, grandchildren and wonderful friends as well as good health. I love going for walks, listening to music and gazing at the stars.

I have been Catholic my entire life but until recently didnt understand what it meant to live a Christian life. My prayers are that I continue to grow in faith, deepen my relationship with God and that my kids come to know and love a God of their understanding. Who am I? That is a tough one. I have spent most of my adult life caring for everyone else, making sure their needs are met and neglecting mine. Until now! This past year has been an exciting time for me! I am learning what I like and dont like. I love to laugh. I love to garden. I love great conversation. I love to sit on my deck and watch the birds eat. I love everything about the country life but enjoy the city night life too! Low key live music is a must! I like to work out and eat healthy. I love warmer climates and the beach. But nothing beats a fire in the fireplace! This new life is a work in progress and I sometimes still forget. But what I have learned is that I cannot be good for you unless I am good with me and good with God. So if you are looking for someone who loves to have fun, who is ready for new beginnings and who is open for whatever life may hold - I am your gal!

In my spare time, I am an avid reader of just about anything. I enjoy watching movies when I get time and spending time with my friends and family.
