I love to write fiction - it's a way to be creative, a way to get my thoughts out on paper, and a change from my day-to-day activities. Someday, I'd like to publish a novel, but that's still quite a ways off. Secondly, I love to travel and try new things. I've been to places like Paris, Florence, Rome, London, but I've equally enjoyed Chicago, Denver, New York City, and many other cities closer to home. There's something about seeing the sights, visiting museums, going to sporting events, and exploring things off the beaten path that's refreshing. Finally (for now!), you should know that my family and friends are very important to me. I will travel hours to see them just for a weekend. As far as me personally, I am a warm, laid back person who doesn't need everything scheduled for the day. Though, I'm not opposed to planning things out. Although I love visiting museums, I prefer to eat out at more relaxed places where jeans are the dress code. My brand of humor tends to be drier, and I love comedies like 30 Rock and The Office. I'm also great at one-liner jokes, though I'll be the first to admit I need to work more on long, humorous stories. I enjoy being independent, but I still appreciate when doors are held open for me. In general, I try to have a positive attitude, though we all have bad days. Since I grew up an only child, I know how to entertain myself.

I have lived in Kansas City for a little over two years now, I moved here after graduating from Benedictine College. I'm originally from a small town in Nebraska where my family still lives (we are all avid Husker fans) growing up I remember going to football games with my dad. I enjoy watching and participating in all sports, in college I was in an intramural sand volleyball team with my friends, we were not good at all, but we knew how to have fun. I've been a Catholic since birth and have loved every minute of it. Growing up my biggest role model was my papa, he was there for every milestone. Every ball game, every band concert, my first communion, my confirmation, all graduations. He is the one person I aspire to be like, he always saw the positive in everything. Traveling is probably my #1 hobby, whether that be to a new country or a road trip with friends to Florida. I have been out of the country numerous times, on mission trips and for vacation. One of my favorite places to go is Guatemala to visit my mom's side of the family. I also really enjoy my family's annual camping/canoeing trip we take usually around the end of summer. Personally I don't think these description boxes do anyone justice, so a few more random facts about me; I love to laugh (even at lame puns), I've recently found an interest in photography, I really like playing video games and watching Netflix, I'm a huge book worm (you should see my bookcases)...that's all I can think of right now.

I am usually a happy person, easy to please and entertain, very conservative. People tell me I am very creative and resourceful and I guess they are right! I love kids and am looking forward to being a wife and mom someday! I think kids are awesome and the best creation God could have come up with. I have so many baby cousins that I love to play with and spoil and always enjoy hearing what they have to say. I love animals especially dogs, cats, and sea animals. After college I am going to be a preschool teacher. I hope to have a largish family with lots of kids and at least a couple of pets.

I was widowed 8 years ago so it took me a little time to reenter the single life. I joined a singles group last January and it has really helped me to adjust to being single again. I have found that I really enjoy dancing - swing, country 2 step, whatever. I have enjoyed meeting new friends and trying new things.

Hi ^_^ I'd describe myself as an introverted, family-oriented, and goofy lady; I am fascinated by history, mysteries to be solved, and cities to go out and explore. I like to travel, have a nice laugh with family and friends, behave silly, check out the performing arts, and just try out new things in general.

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, which includes my boys and granddaughter. I love to go visit my mom and dad and spend the weekend on the farm with them. I am a catholic school teacher so I am passionate about teaching the catholic religion to young minds. I like traveling and going out to dinner and movies with my friends.

My name is Kate and I recently finished my masters in Sacred Theology in Austria. Being Catholic for me is a life-changing and joyful experience; it teaches one the significance of the gift of living a human life. As a result, I greatly enjoy fellowship with other Catholics and with truth seeking and genuine people. I enjoy being around people who have an appreciation for beauty, truth, good red wine, and laughter. Currently I hope to find good Catholic fellowship in the Kansas City area, having just returned to live here after a seven year absence. I am currently a teacher. I teach Catholic Moral Theology and Theology of the Body to Juniors in high school, which is fulfilling and challenging at the same time!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I originally grew up in KC, but the last several years I have also lived in Dallas, which was a fantastic experience. I teach high school, which tends to exhaust me, but in a good way. I have to apologize up front about messaging - unless you send me a message during a light or quiet school week, I will most likely not reply until a few days later because school prep and grading love to eat up my time. I promise I don't mean no to put you on hold! And I appreciate your patience! :) I'm always looking for a reason to get with friends when grading lets me- sports events, board game nights, shopping, bowling alley- you name it! I also love fishing, boating, swimming, swing dancing, ballroom dancing, sewing crafts, long drives in my car, jamming to oldies while doing chores around the house (seriously, 80s tunes make laundry so much more fun!), and watching mystery, action or romantic flicks. Since I'm a girl, I naturally make room for chocolate haha I will gladly take dinner leftovers over typical breakfast foods any morning- I can't remember the last time I ate cereal. Coming from a German/Irish family, naturally I'm also all for the top quality beverages. I am probably the fastest shopper, longest list maker, craziest dish washer, and most detailed chart organizer you'll ever meet. My loyalties to loved ones are pretty fierce, so I can be a bit protective at times. I don't lose my temper often, and while it's not necessarily explosive, it can drive me to seek privacy away from people to cool off (if cleaning doesn't do enough to calm me down first) haha. And most of all, anyone who makes me laugh is my hero! As for my faith formation, I'm a devout Catholic with very traditional values. I'm the oldest of six and was homeschooled until high school, I try to pray the rosary daily, and my family attends the Latin Mass. I'm not entirely sold on the meet-online-scene, mostly because it's not very romantic, but I'm willing to try! Oh yes, and despite what my home town might suggest, I am a most definite St. Louis Cardinals fan! (Dad's St. Louis upbringing)

I am passionate about what I do, no matter what it is. I am passionate about rock climbing, summer camp, painting, Board games, superheroes, etc. I am passionate about helping young people fall in love with Jesus Christ and His Church. I have had a passion for working with youth, ever since I was one. I enjoy going and seeing live music, musicals, art exhibits, or even just walking around a beautiful park, there is plenty of God's art for us to see. I am currently studying to be an elementary teacher at Benedictine College. I love to laugh and joke around and just enjoy life. I believe Jesus had a wicked sense of humor and so should we!

I am a single, divorced mom of a 5th grade girl and a 6th grade boy. They attend Cure of Ars Catholic School in Mission, Kansas. My kids are active in soccer, acting, and swimming. I am very involved and enjoy volunteering and watching their activities and sports. We love being outdoors; hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming or just playing. We are looking forward to my nephews wedding this October. He is getting married north of San Francisco in the redwood forest. I hope to do a lot of outdoor adventures. We dont have an opportunity to vacation much but would like to do more. I am currently working as a paraprofessional at Center High School. My goal is to teach at the collegiate level. I have a Masters in Sports and Athletic Business Administration and am working on one in Higher Education. I definitely have a passion for learning as well as helping others. I wish I had more time to devote to parish ministries. I am a true lover of life and all the wonderful things it has to offer. I have been divorced for several years and have realized one thing missing is an adult relationship.
