I'm wanting to make some friends with the possibility of a marriage. My relationship with God and His will for my life is the most important thing to me. I enjoy family, going to the beach, eating out, quite evenings, having a glass of wine and relaxing, treveling and meeting new people and being with my friends. My friends tell me I have a friendly disposition, good sense of humor and am pretty cute. I hope they are right! I love to meet new people wherever I am. I'm a good listener and can be a serious thinker as well. I love life and my faith is strong. In fact, my faith truly is what i want to define me. I was not blessed with children but love big families and always wanted to be a part of one. I see the potential and good in all people and desire to be an expression of God's love to them. I believe kindness and hope are the two most important virtues we can share with others. I have a medical issue that can sometimes effect me. If you are interested, just ask.

Watching sporting events is also something enjoyable. I have never done anything like this before, but I would really like to meet someone with similar thoughts, values, and beliefs, in the hopes that we could be a blessing to each other. So I go forward with faith, hope, and a little trepidation. I was raised in a big Catholic family. I have five brothers, and I am the only girl. I have a close relationship with my family and enjoy spending time with them. They mostly live in Southeast Kansas, and I see them quite often. I have one daughter and two granddaughters, who live in Austin, Texas. We communicate often, but I only get to see them a couple times a year. I love kids. I am a court reporter and have been for 30-some years. I'm a hard worker and always have been but am looking forward to slowing down a little in the coming years. I love sports and played USVBA volleyball well into my 40s. I go to the gym weekly and am getting into yoga. I was an avid bike rider for many years and would like to take it back up. I walk my dog every day, love to garden and be outside. Looking for furniture to refurbish is another one of my hobbies. There are many places on my travel bucket list but am also pretty happy at home. I am divorced but have obtained an annulment. My Catholic religion is very important to me, and I think it would be so wonderful to be in a relationship with someone that I could go to church with and share my faith with.

If you hear laughter just a tiny bit louder in a crowded cafe, that might just be me and my 'Near and Dears.' My friends swear they love me beause I am funny, loyal, and quick to offer help if needed. You will find me at home, at church or with friends who also love life. Am passionate about my faith and far-flung family. Love my Parish and its opportunities for participation and spiritual growth. The two ways I assist are being a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. You will find in me a person who sees the glass half full, is comfortable in her own skin, and has a variety of interests. Am active in animal rescue, with two of my three pups counting as such. Spent most of my career in marketing and public relations for healthcare, politics, executive education, business, and specific causes- many for Fortune 500 companies. Am comfortable on a loading dock or a board room. Am looking forward to traveling this path to see where it may lead.

I am passionate about people---family, friends, and strangers. Strangers are usually just a good conversation away from becoming friends. I love discussions but I am not argumentative. I don't talk politics. I don't talk religion, but I will share my faith openly if I am invited to do so. I have three adult children, but, alas, no grandchildren. I had a wonderfully happy marriage of 49 years. The last six years were challenged with my husband's diagnosis of Alzheimer's. But even that could not dim our love for one another nor our love of God.

My kids are my world, no doubt about that. I love being with them and spent g time doing what they love but I I like a little alone time to read or watch my fave Netflix shows. :-) I'm close to my family, but live about 3.5 hours away from them so I do like to travel back home pretty regularly.

I am a joyful person and look forward to the adventures of each new day! Currently I am a medical student, and I am fascinated by the unique and compelling stories my patients carry with them. I love to serve my patients and to learn from the doctors and nurses I work with! When I am not studying, I enjoy trying new recipes or craft projects, reading, and drinking coffee. I cherish new experiences, be it attempting a new skill or traveling to a city I've never seen, especially when I get to discover them with beloved family or friends!

Life is about making memories, caring for others, laughter, and finding the positive. I am passionate about following God's plan for my life. I appreciate down to earth, grounded, and genuine gentlemen. Challenges I have endured have significantly shaped my outlook and perspective on what should be valued. I am passionately Catholic, and compassionately Conservative. I have a master's degree in Library Science. I love the outdoors, hanging at the lake, canoeing, and traveling to National Parks. I like live theatre, history, and old cars. I enjoy listening to all types of music except rap and heavy metal. I would like to learn to dance, and I love to read. I have been described as intelligent and a good conversationalist. I am easy to talk to. Considerate and thoughtful are adjectives that have been applied to me. Volunteering is important to me. I currently volunteer at a local food pantry. I feel that it is a corporal work of mercy and part of my mission in life.
