I am a Youth Director at a parish. It is a gift to be called here and humbling. God continues to provide the needed graces and the Joy of being a servant to His youth of today. They keep me young and continue to inspire me. - can't believe I have made it 16 years! :) I love the Church and desire to spread her great truths in whatever way the Holy Spirit leads -- as His nudges can be different every day. :) Family is very important and I am close to my parents and siblings. I enjoy art, health and fitness, people in general, the outdoors/hiking and have recently tried fly fishing. (It was so fun!) I believe good communication, honesty and humility are what keep relationships strong. I would hope that I am a good communicator. Of course, God, being the center of any relationship, is what is most important. Laughter is good! Being able to laugh at myself comes in handy! I enjoy being on-the-go but just the same quiet time is a priority. I have a gentle heart and presence yet I desire the Zeal of St. Catherine of Siena when teaching Christ's Truth. "Be Not Afraid!"

I have been blessed with many educational opportunities...right now, I'm able to give back what I've learned- I work as a teacher and literacy tutor. Although I'm pretty shy at first, I have grown to really enjoy being around lots of other people. I like to read, drink good coffee and Guinness, count my blessings, and visit with friends. I'm working on a list of 100 things I want to do before the end of my life. I believe that you can always learn from any positive or painful experience if you want to be constructive. The important thing is to learn. The most wonderful thing in my life is that I get to be a mother. I'm always seeing new things about the way my daughter thinks and's amazing to be a part of her life - she has a very kind and grateful nature. I love her very much. We are a separated family, so I try to arrange my work to maximize time with her. I've read "The 5 Love Languages" in order to understand her, and seriously recommend this book to applies to any type of relationship/friendship/work environment... and it gives you tools to understanding others and what they need. The Catholic faith is so important to me because I feel that it contains the complete truth, and that it's the church started by Jesus as He intended it to be. I will always be a "learner" in this aspect of life. I feel God is always asking us to grow closer to Him, so you never arrive at perfection, you always have to rely on Him more than yourself - but you have to try! I really enjoy going on silent retreats and reading books where I can learn from other's wisdom and experiences of God. I want to be able to look back on my life and give back what's been given to me, to raise my children by example to love God, and to leave the world better for having been here. I don't think we're here to simply "coast." My favorite virtues are mercy and hope.
  • Anna, 33 from Helena, MT
    33, Helena, MT
Hi, I'm Anna. The quick desription of me. I love Jesus and the saints, the outdoors (fishing /snowshoeing/ having a cocktail on a patio), like great beer and brew my own small batches. I'm a cradle Catholic who really only started practicing the faith in college after a radical conversion. God knew my choleric heart could only be changed by something big. Since then I've developed a deep loved of the Church, its teachings, the saints. Eucharistic adoration was the primary factor in my return to the faith.

Hi there My name is Sherri. I live in Montana and I have three grown children. I work on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. I am a School Counselor. I love children, animals, and a honest person. I am of Mexican, Iriish Decent and I have been alone since 1976. I married very young and had three children. I wanted my children to have religious freedom. That is why I am here. I again live in Billings, MT. What else, I have decided that God wants me to have a friend that I can go places with. I am not broke, but I am not stupid to the ploys of everyday life. I again like a good honest man. As a therapist, I don't like negativity and put-downs from others. I value all hurman beings and I am working to get to Heaven at the present time. I am pretty strong willed and I am a survival. I started out being given away my my bio-mother but was put in a home with good paretns. My father was so cool, but he died when I was 14 and then many things happened in my llife. Buy the is water under the bridge. I am presently working to live in the present moment with love and kindness. I know none of us are perfect, but again I don't like a bully or a lier. Thank you Sheri

I enjoy people & family.. always open for a new adventure. I believe in the teaching of the Catholic faith to get through everyday life. Life is all too short and we should enjoy every day to the fullest. I enjoy being around people that would rather be happy and find the best of all times. I enjoy travel but enjoy being home just as much if not more.

  • Mary, 64 from Wolf Point, MT
    64, Wolf Point, MT
Hello--I would like to fall in love again and have someone to spend the rest of my life with. Someone that loves me; and someone who would like to pray with me, I have worked very hard and it is time to slow up and finally do some of things that I'd like to do. Having a partner would make life much more enjoyable. I had a wonderful upbringing with lots of love in our home, and a husband that loved me and was very good to me. Its over 12 years since I lost my husband and my only son, and just now I I am able to move on to the next chapter of my life. I am strong in my faith, and know that God saw me through this terrible time ; my daughter gave me the will to want to pick myself up again. She wants me to be happy and has been encouraging me to get out among people again. I am thankful for so many things.; and even through all the heartache; life is very good. I am generally always happy and positive thinking . I like to laugh and am told I have a good sense of humor. I love playing music and my accordion is my favorite. Meeting someone that plays or likes music would be great. I enjoy singing also, and playing guitar. I enjoy bluegrass, gospel, and all good country music. I love to dance and I enjoy quilting and woodworking. I love the outdoors, 4-wheeling, my horses and my dogs. I don't watch too much T.V, but I do enjoy a good western. Keeping a clean house is important to me; and I like a well kept yard. I would like to be able to enjoy some of the winter in a little warmer place. I really don't look forward to shoveling snow, chopping ice, or feeding cows any more. Ha!!

The most influential people in my life: my parents, my grandmother, my closest friends. They continually teach me about life and help me grow into my best self.

Living in a small town has its ups and downs. Ups being that this little town has provided such a great backdrop for my children to grow up in, couldn't ask for more opportunities for them or nicer, harder working people to emulate. Downs being that I haven't met anyone new in years. Not that the locals are not interesting - just a bit too familiar at this point. Meeting someone different, learning something surprising, getting lost on some unknown road or even hearing a new joke would sure add to the regular humdrum beat of living a small town life. Someday I would like to go on a mission to a third world country to remind myself just how lucky I am. Helping others doesn't have to always be so grandiose though- it can be something as simple as helping neighbors move into a new home or cooking a pan of lasagna for someone going through a tough time. The mountains call my name on a regular basis, so going for short hikes or walks in the wilderness is a must activity for m.. The year never quite seems complete if I haven't had time to pick some huckleberries and sit around a campfire once or twice. Going for drives in the country while sipping a beer is perfect down time for me but a night out with friends, or a chance to hear a lecture on some obscure part of the world, take an art class or crack open a bottle of wine in a vineyard somewhere are all activities that seem to beckon. I was blessed to be born into a large Irish family, where hospitality and story telling are taught early and often. The more people around the dinner table, the better. Just don't ask our opinions on anything. We all have one, none of them are the same and we are all right. Somewhere in there it gets loud and boisterous as it seems the Irish never tire of sharing their wisdom to anyone who asks. I love my job but it does take up quite a bit of my time and most of the remaining is taken up with the blessings of family commitments. I have no expectations of meeting anyone and falling in love but would sure like someone to visit with when our busy schedules allow us an opportunity to chat with someone new. Visiting with a new friend who is far enough along on a faith journey that going to mass is ordinary and a need to make this world a little better place feels normal would be an inviting change of pace.
