56, Fremont, NEI am a hardworking, sensitive, fun and caring person. Old fashion values, respect and trust are important to me. It is what is in the heart that counts. Kids are my passion. Helping others is one way I can give back to God. I enjoy the outdoors, sports especially watching football, playing golf, and being active. I enjoy sailing a sunfish, kayaking, and hiking. My adoptive 19 year son has been a challenge yet a blessing. I can't imagine my life without him now. I enjoy the simple things in life and having a good laugh, the kind where tears are running down your face and your side hurts. Currently, I am self-employed. I have rental property of my own. I try and do most of the work myself so fairly handy at fixing things. It is fun to take a house that is in bad shape and fix it up. Even though, teaching and working with kids would be my ideal job. I am self-sufficient, independent and financial secured so in other words I don't need a man yet would like a soulmate for the companionship. When I have some down time, you would probably find me doing a project at the house, watching a football game, enjoying time at a lake or a river, or just reading a good book on the porch. Friendships are very important to me so might be spending some quality time with a friend. I am okay with being by myself yet would like a long term committed relationship.

35, Omaha, NEHello! I am passionate about celebrating the gift of life that I have been given. I try to live each day, making the most of the journey and would love to find someone to share the journey with.
69, Niobrara, NEHi! My name is Shirley Marie, age 67 years, born on July 13, 1947 at Atkinson, NE, which is known for "Hay Days". My father was a WWII veteran and Jack-of-all-trades, while my mother was a rural schoolteacher, as was a grandmother, and all were most influential in my life because of what they taught me. I have traveled many places, including Canada, with my parents and two brothers, so have many experiences. My nationality is half Irish, part Swiss, German, Dutch and Norwegian, I stand almost 5 ft. tall, weighing around 185 pounds, with a determination to lose 50 pounds through NutriSystem, I have light brown hair and blue eyes, but have worn eyeglasses ever since Fourth Grade and am quite healthy and humorous otherwise. As for education and work, I have had some college and could write a book about all of my jobs so far, but am presently working as a housekeeper at a casino hotel. I was actually married twice to two abusive husbands, which I had divorced; one marriage was annulled, while the second husband recently passed away. I am most passionate about life in general; since I am a pro-lifer, I like to express myself when necessary, especially when it comes to protection of the unborn. I look forward to helping anyone in need, particularly children who have poor home environments. I look forward to sharing the rest of my life with a compatible, non-smoking, healthy and humorous Catholic cowboy or country gentleman in his sixties who lives in the Midwest. Since I have country roots, living on Wyoming ranches, staying with grandparents on their farm during some summers, and being "pioneers" in Canada, I would love to live in the country again. During my leisure time, I enjoy making padded photo frames, reading mysteries or romantic books, watching westerns or mysteries on television, solving puzzles, writing, gardening, cooking, decorating, and taking care of my cats. I also enjoy singing in the church choir whenever I can.
55, Omaha, NEFamily, Faith and Friends have always been important to me. I am a people person! I enjoy hanging out with others just visiting, playing games, or going to events; whether it be sports related or even concerts in the park. I do attend mass weekly and would love to find someone that gets as much from their religion as me.
61, Omaha, NEI am a convert and love my Catholic faith. I moved back to Omaha fall 2015 and love being closer to family after traveling for 3 years around the country, for my job. I love the change of seasons, being outdoors and LOVE being near water and the mountains. I love animals and miss owning a horse. Getting ready to have back surgery soon and hope to be able to ride again. Perhaps a Tennessee walker. [?] btw - if I'm not the right one for You, do you have a friend that might be the right person for me?
60, Neligh, NEWhat I look forward to the most is being with the man that God has intended for me. He did not intend for us to be alone. This may sound crazy but one of the experiences that has had the most influence on my life in a positive way has been my divorce. I have a deeper faith than I had before. Some of my leisure time is spent doing online dating (without success obviously, and I am hoping to change that as soon as God lets me know who he wants me to be with!) I also spend time quilting, gardening, visiting with good friends, spending time visiting my grown kids, going for walks, working out, garage sales, antiques, shopping, sight seeing, going to local events, traveling, camping, dancing. baking, cooking, visiting wineries, going to quilting events,Renaissance fair, music in the park or concerts. I have 3 grown daughters, 2 son in laws and 3 grand doggies that I enjoy spending time with. About the only direction I would consider relocating would be closer to my kids in the Omaha and Lincoln areas. I would be glad to answer and questions you may have so if there is an interest-lets chat to see where it goes.
56, Norfolk, NEI've recently returned to the church after 33 years in the Evangelical church. Since my return to the Catholic faith, I am in love with Jesus in a whole new way. My friends and family have been the greatest influence in my life.
62, Fremont, NEI was born in the town I live in and live in the house I grew up in. Fortunate to have had a happy childhood growing up with 2 older brother ( 8 and 11 years older) and wonderful parents. I attended parochial grade and high school. Obtained my BA and MBA and now work in the accounting department for a mortgage banking firm. I drive about 30 miles each day to work in Omaha. Enjoy spending time with extended family on weekends. We like to get together on Sunday nights for dinner. Faith and family the most important things in life. Enjoy getting together with friends for lunch on the weekend or to catch a movie. Also enjoy down time at home to get those household duties taken care of, watch Netflix, or read. I think people would say that I am a pretty even tempered individual. Don't like a lot of drama. Would be nice to have someone to share the simple life with, whether going out or staying in.
67, Omaha, NEI am interested in social justice and protecting the environment. I try to make sure my life reflects that. My relatives have influenced my life's philosophy, especially my grandfather whose love of nature and all people formed my earliest experiences. I enjoy live performances, museums and art, learning new things, living in nature, meditation, travel and exploring. I like my freedom but I also like connecting with people especially when communication is organic.
