43, Lincoln, NEHi, I'm Nicole! I currently live in Nebraska but was born and raised in Upstate New York (yup, a Yankee fan!). I lived in Virginia for several years before moving to Nebraska and really consider that my adopted home. I miss the ocean, the mountains, the ocean, and history of the east coast and hope to get back there someday soon. Did I mention the ocean? I'm a practicing Catholic with a preference for the Traditional Latin Mass. I'm the second oldest of nine kids and grew up in a great family. I have four sisters, four brothers and, as of right now, 24 nieces and nephews. We're all really musical - I love to sing and enjoy all kinds of music. I also love to cook, travel, watch good movies, spend time with family and friends. I'm blessed to have a great job working with great people and it affords me the opportunity to travel and see all different parts of the country. What's missing is someone to share my life with; someone with whom I can live a good life, hopefully raise a family and, God willing, get to Heaven. I have a great capacity to love and am ready to share a life with a good man.
34, Omaha, NEI am a science teacher in a Catholic School. I feel blessed every day to do something I love. This year, I am blessed to be also teaching Religion. I am passionate about my faith and work every day on my relationship with God. I also love writing stories and look forward to having time to write more. I am close to my family and friends. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, writing stories, playing with my kitties, playing board games and hanging out with friends.
38, Sidney, NEAbove all else I love God and His Church. Being Catholic is the greatest blessing we can receive on earth and I'm grateful that God called me to conversion. I've been Catholic since 2007. I recently moved back to Nebraska from Dallas. While in Dallas I attended the Latin Mass at an FSSP parish. I spent a lot of time there and enjoyed the classes, devotions and community. I miss it and hope to live in a city that has a Fraternity parish again soon. I'm also open to Institute of Christ the King or any TLM as long as they are in full communion with Rome I like to walk, read, pray, spend time with family and go on road trips. I am introverted, I laugh easily and I have a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. Even when circumstances are tough, life is beautiful and there is always much to be thankful for. I have a nineteen year old son who is a great blessing from God. I did walk down an aisle many years ago but it was not in the Church. I had the "marriage" annulled shortly after I became Catholic. I've always believed I have a vocation to marriage but am at peace being single until God sends my spouse. His will be done.
52, Omaha, NEI am intelligent and fun. I believe that we can always live each day to the fullest. I am interesting, outgoing and active. I enjoy traveling when I am able, and trying to do my handy woman jobs when I am at home.
31, Omaha, NEI love life and try to live each day to the fullest and stay positive in every situation. While I have had my share of crosses to bear, they have made me the person I am today and I know I have been incredibly blessed! I am looking for someone who shares my faith and wants to raise a family according to Church teachings.
51, Lincoln, NEHi the most important thing to me is my GOD and my family. Having God as the foundation is the only way! I love husker football, all sports, I love to workout, take care of myself , eat whole foods and my passion is praying, reading and working out. I would love to meet a guy who can make me laugh, appreciates all his blessings, loves to sing even if you can't, loves mexican food and ice cream. I know you're out there. I am a very loyal and I am ready to love with all my heart.
69, Niobrara, NEHi! My name is Shirley Marie, age 67 years, born on July 13, 1947 at Atkinson, NE, which is known for "Hay Days". My father was a WWII veteran and Jack-of-all-trades, while my mother was a rural schoolteacher, as was a grandmother, and all were most influential in my life because of what they taught me. I have traveled many places, including Canada, with my parents and two brothers, so have many experiences. My nationality is half Irish, part Swiss, German, Dutch and Norwegian, I stand almost 5 ft. tall, weighing around 185 pounds, with a determination to lose 50 pounds through NutriSystem, I have light brown hair and blue eyes, but have worn eyeglasses ever since Fourth Grade and am quite healthy and humorous otherwise. As for education and work, I have had some college and could write a book about all of my jobs so far, but am presently working as a housekeeper at a casino hotel. I was actually married twice to two abusive husbands, which I had divorced; one marriage was annulled, while the second husband recently passed away. I am most passionate about life in general; since I am a pro-lifer, I like to express myself when necessary, especially when it comes to protection of the unborn. I look forward to helping anyone in need, particularly children who have poor home environments. I look forward to sharing the rest of my life with a compatible, non-smoking, healthy and humorous Catholic cowboy or country gentleman in his sixties who lives in the Midwest. Since I have country roots, living on Wyoming ranches, staying with grandparents on their farm during some summers, and being "pioneers" in Canada, I would love to live in the country again. During my leisure time, I enjoy making padded photo frames, reading mysteries or romantic books, watching westerns or mysteries on television, solving puzzles, writing, gardening, cooking, decorating, and taking care of my cats. I also enjoy singing in the church choir whenever I can.
33, Malcolm, NEI come from a large and very traditional family with traditional values. My Catholic faith is the biggest and most important thing in my life. I truly cant imagine my life without it! I was homeschooled K-12, which is something I certainly want to give to my own children someday. I loved being homeschooled and appreciate very much the sacrifice my parents made to give me that amazing gift! As I said, I loved it except for math that is, most of my school years, I hated that subject. :-/ But I believe God truly has a since of humor and when I grew up, I became the accountant for our family business :-) Now, before you think I am nuts! I actually became quite good at it and have even been complemented by accounting firms and bankers for my work. :-) But please, let me back up a bit. Our family company was started by my father, an amazing man of whom I am very proud. He invented, patented and started the business and most of my siblings work in it. It has provided all of us with very good jobs and great opportunities! With that said, I hope you will not think me ungrateful, but it is not what I want to do with my life. Someday I hope to be a stay at home wife and mother, the way my mother is. You know the kind, that makes a really good homemade meal and enjoys making people feel welcome, at home and comfortable. She has given me a beautiful example to follow along with so many wonderful saints who were also wives and mothers! I believe that the husband/father is to be the head of the home and the wife/mother, its heart. And, I hope and I pray, I will be a very good heart one day. In asking my family what positive traits they saw in me, and if you notice kind of a pink glow on this part of my profile, it is just the reflection of my embarrassed face, anyway they said the following, humorous or witty, some said sarcastic but I prefer wittysounds better ;-) gentile, pure, modest, kind, compassionate, understanding, not demanding, prayerful, sincere, good in a tight spot, sticks to a job well, sensitive (this is both a blessing and a curse because although Im sensitive to others feelings I tend to be a little too sensitive myself, it is a fault I am working on ) see the need in someone else and try to do what I can to fill that need. Wow! All that and I only had to do the dishes for about a week. Hey, I come from a large family and it takes a while to pay them all back! Just kidding ;-)
30, Omaha, NEI am very upbeat, positive, sarcastic, funny, family oriented, Traditional values, warm and caring, I love to be outside (when it's nice), good food, drinks with friends, sports, especially love anything by the water, and I love new adventures! I go to church and pray, but I cuss sometimes. As far as I know, I'm pretty great!
27, Omaha, NEI love to be active and do most types of outdoor activities. I'm usually up for any kind of socializing, but I enjoy relaxing at home just as much. I am passionate about traveling, food, board games, and music!
27, Omaha, NEI love to laugh and admit I am sarcastic at times. Working out is a great stress releaser for me, and Adoration is where I find my peace. I hope to one day have a relationship as fun-loving as my parents, with a man who loves dogs!
64, O'Neill, NESharing an appreciation of the arts, enjoyment of nature, love of life and intelligent conversations make up a part of my world. My career experiences have been quite varied but always with a focus on helping others. After 18 years in a dental setting i began to teach the arts to children in after school programs and summer musical theater workshops. I was also a 4-H leader and an ARBA adult advisor for about 10 years. Now retired, i share the arts to home schoolers and other children. I enjoy helping others and showing them the joys in life. Did I mention I am passionately Catholic?
