34, Lincoln, NEGod always amazes me with the little and big ways He works in my life! I'm blessed to teach music at a Catholic elementary where I get to attend Mass every day. I love watching my students have fun making music! Most of them are a lot of fun to teach and the more challenging students will hopefully help to make me a better teacher (or drive me crazy--one of the two). I have a fantastic family, made up of two loving parents, two wonderful big sisters, two great brothers-in-law, five beautiful nieces, and five handsome nephews. I love hanging out with them all and wish I got to spend more time playing with my nieces and nephews. I grew up in a Catholic home, but it wasn't until I went to college that I really made my faith my own. I was blessed with a wonderful community at the student parish. It not only strengthened my faith, but also gave me friends who both loved and lived their faith. A few other random tidbits: Although I've been told on far too many occasions that I'm quiet, I prefer to think that God made me a listener so talkers would have someone to listen to them. I've been blessed (or perhaps cursed) with my dad's quirky sense of humor, which is more obvious when I'm comfortable with someone. I tend to be organized and like to have a plan, but I can also be flexible and go with the flow when necessary (very helpful when teaching!). I don't like milk on my cereal. I like the idea of cooking, but I'm far from being an accomplished chef. It's hard to cook for one person, especially when that person has selective taste buds. I enjoy dancing, mostly country swing, but I've also been told I'm good at polkas. I would love to learn some ballroom eventually. I love used bookstores and have overflowing bookcases as a result. I try to find joy in the little things and like to focus on the sunshine, even if it's behind the clouds. (Yes, I realize that sounds rather cheesy, but I'm okay with that.)
35, Lincoln, NEIt is way too late at night for me to be compiling an "all about me". Granted it is not even ten o'clock at night but past nine o'clock I am generally brain dead. In the near future I will need to come back in here and put some more information. The basics: I am a simple girl with simple tastes. I can be a bit of a homebody, enjoy reading, and spending time with friends and family. I grew up on a farm in western Nebraska and am an accountant currently trying to decipher my vocation in life. Work takes up quite a bit of my time right now but I want to get more involved in my church and have on my bucket list to take some classes in stain glass and sign language; however, I will be happy with just creating some free time to get back into the habit of nightly walks.
28, Lincoln, NEI am a very family oriented person. I enjoy doing things without my family but it's good to get together with them and do activities with them also. I dream of traveling to many places both in the states and abroad! I enjoy having music in my life, mostly singing in the church choir these days, and listening to many different Broadway soundtracks! I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends.
24, Lincoln, NEHi I'm Carolyn and am absolutely in love with my faith, family, friends, music and teaching. I have one younger brother and am very close to him and my parents. I love to sing and have the privilege to sing in my mom's choir every Sunday and direct a Youth choir at my parish. I also sing for weddings and funerals. All of these are very rewarding. In 2011, I got to go to World Youth Day in Madrid Spain. During that trip I was blessed with the opportunity to bathe in the water of Lourdes in France. That was an experience that drew me in closer to the Blessed Mother than I ever would have expected. That woman has showed me a lot of beauty in this world. Another influential person I look up to in my life is Mother Angelica...that woman and her sass/slap you in the face with her opinions and advice...brilliant. :) When I have a free moment in life and just want to chill I love taking long walks on the beach (haha if only there were actual beaches in Nebraska! I actually would take a lake beach any day) But on a serious note, I love to cook, watch old 1940/50s movies and I love a good glass of whiskey. I also love taking landscape photography.
35, Lincoln, NEI am passionate about my family first and foremost. Providing a good life for my boys is most important to me. I love to cook, enjoy good wine, entertaining, and enjoying good conversations with great people. I also enjoy a good home improvement project and yes I can use tools. I have a passion for all of my involvements. If I take it on, it has to spark something inside of me. I am loyal to the people in my life. When time allows I like running and training for half marathons. I am fun loving and sarcastic. I can hang with the guys with ease. I have 7 years of prior military service. I am the type of girl that can be outdoors and get dirty or put on a nice dress and carry myself with grace. I am very competitive and I'm not a bad shot either. I am looking for someone who can challenge me as well as appreciate me. I am supportive, dedicated, and giving. Looking for a real relationship where we can support each other in life's endeavors, but also enjoy all of life's little adventures. Giving my children a balanced life with lots of love and memories is very important to me and I would like to find someone who can join our little team. I've spent the last 8 years teaching in catholic schools and currently teach CCD as well. :) Anything else, just ask.
29, Lincoln, NE"Life is a great adventure" seems to be the motto of my life whether I'm ready or not! As I grow closer and closer to Our Lord and Lady, I go down more paths I never would have expected but totally LOVE!!! I like challenging myself and trying to grow in new ways. Everyday, I try to do at least one thing that either I know I should do (but don't really want to... yes, I'm not perfect...) or something that scares me (you should know that setting mouse traps is a legit scary moment!!!! SO DON'T LAUGH!) I'm an adventurer and home body all together. I love hanging out with friends, hosting dinner parties, popping in at the family farm to chill with my family, traveling all over the country, exploring new things, and curling up with a great book! I just love life and want to take in as much as I can!
32, Malcolm, NEWhere to begin... First off, thanks for reading my profile, I'm trying to think up the best or most cleaver way to start this and its not automatically hitting me!!!... does this happen to anyone (or everyone) else?? Some of the things I enjoy most are: reading (I'm reading a book by Fr. Lawrence Lovasik right now, I've read a couple of his books and he is an incredible author his books always strike me that they could be read over and over and always get something out of it! I also really enjoy a good coffee shop (which by the way, goes incredibly good with books: ), I like making/ sewing things and have way to many projects going at the same time, and I love cooking and baking (my mom is a great cook I learned from the best : ). I also really like getting outdoors and going for a walk...
26, Lincoln, NEI am passionate about taking care of people. I want to make people feel welcomed and loved. I most enjoy playing, attending, and watching sports of any kind. It doesn't get much better than attending a baseball game on a Friday night in the summer with a beer and a hot dog and good friends. My lifelong dream is to visit every major league baseball stadium. I also like learning new things and perfecting skills I already have. I love doing new crafts that often turn into home decorations and accessories. I would love to learn how to play the guitar and/or piano, use a sewing machine, and any other practical homemaking skills.
25, Lincoln, NEHi! I am working in my first year as a speech-language pathologist in the public schools. I love coffee, writing, watching movies, being with friends, and eating chocolate. My friends and family are very important to me. I grew up with my mom, dad, two older brothers, and a younger sister. They are fantastic people in my life and I am so grateful for them. I also have two sisters-in-law, two nieces, and one niece/nephew on the way. I try to find joy in all areas of life through laughter. I love talking about psychology, faith, suffering, passions, puns. My faith is very important to me, and I try to continue growing in this area each day. God has done amazing things in my life -- and I especially feel His closeness when I look at the good He has done for the people I love. I praise Him for being so good to my friends and family.
24, Lincoln, NEI am from a small town in Nebraska, and then went to college at Chadron State College which is also a pretty small town. I recently moved to Lincoln which has been a little bit of a shift with size, but really enjoy the place I am at and the school I am working at. I am a first grade teacher and love my job and spending time with my students. My family is very important to me. I have two older sisters and a younger brother. My parents have been huge role models. My father is a Wildlife Biologist so I grew up bird watching, hunting, camping, and hiking. I find comfort in being outside. I recently went to India and was able to serve with the Missionaries of Charity. This was a life changing experience with my relationship with Christ. I learned many lessons on the trip, and my eyes were opened to God's mercy and love and how easily it can be taken for granted. I have also been to Mexico and Belize. Which were both amazing trips. I enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the world. I like to watch sports especially football, and love to be active. I enjoy movie nights, but also enjoy going out on adventures. I dream of going skydiving someday. Faith, family, friends, teacher, nature/adventures sums me up in a nut shell. But lot more to me :)
33, Lincoln, NEHi, I'm Jeanie and I'm giving online dating a try. Whether I'm at home or on a trip, the best times in my life have been spent in the company of family and friends. The majority of my leisure time is spent reading a good book, watching TV in the form of a cooking/home improvement show or sporting event, laughing at a good comedy, or hanging out with friends and family. I was born and raised in a big, Catholic family. My faith is important to me and the reason why I have decided to give this avenue in meeting someone a chance.
25, Lincoln, NEI enjoy going on adventures whether it's as small as trying a new restaurant or as big as flying to Ethiopia, but I also like to curl up at home with a good book and a cup of tea. As a Catholic school librarian, I've been very lucky to be able to share my passion for faith, books, and learning. I look forward to meeting others who share my love of Christ and want to try new things.
