Hello! I enjoy being creative and living life to the fullest! I like where I'm at in life, but I would love to meet some new people. Does that include you?! ;) Having a healthy lifestyle is important to me and I would like to share that. I enjoy biking, sand volleyball, cooking, karaoke and trying new things. You will often find me writing music, being silly, spending time with the ones I love, and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone. If you want to know anything else, don't be afraid to ask!

I never know what to start with when asked to 'tell about myself'. I know that I am incredibly blessed, especially by my teenage child. I always try to see the positive side of things. I believe everything happens for a reason and at the right time. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do. I love being Catholic and seeing God work in my life each and every day. I want to have a positive impact in the world.

Hi! I am Emily. I adore my family and friends, I love being with my nieces and nephews and watching their many activities! I look forward to meeting someone that is my best friend. I hope to find someone who loves me for who I am and I will do the same for them!

I would like to meet someone who enjoys volunteering. To me I find it important to want to give back or help others. I volunteers heart is what I'm after. I have a deep love for hiking and being in nature. I'm by no means a skilled rock climber but I do enjoy the slot canyons in Utah! An openness to children is a must. If you love what you do & do it with passion I find that really attractive. Good luck on your search!
  • Anne, 27 from Lincoln, NE
    27, Lincoln, NE
I am a very family oriented person. I enjoy doing things without my family but it's good to get together with them and do activities with them also. I dream of traveling to many places both in the states and abroad! I enjoy having music in my life, mostly singing in the church choir these days, and listening to many different Broadway soundtracks! I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends.
  • Samantha, 26 from Lincoln, NE
    26, Lincoln, NE
Hi! My name is Samantha (I usually go by Sam). I graduated from SCC Lincoln in the Visual Publications program (graphic design). I am currently furthering my education to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in graphic design at UNL. I love to cross stitch while I watch different shows/movies on Netflix. I love to read, I've recently gotten into James Patterson's books. I love listening to music, I listen to mostly pop, but I have a lot of oldies such as Earth Wind and Fire, the BeeGees, etc. I'm a huge dog lover! I'd like to adopt from the Humane Society in the future. I'm a major Disnerd (Disney fan). I collect Disney Princess memorabilia along with Olaf, from the movie Frozen. It's my goal to go to Disney World someday and to see the ocean while I'm there because I've never seen it in person. I would love to travel in the future to places like Rome, Florence, Kyoto, etc. My favorite color is purple.
  • Carolyn, 23 from Lincoln, NE
    23, Lincoln, NE
Hi I'm Carolyn and am absolutely in love with my faith, family, friends, music and teaching. I have one younger brother and am very close to him and my parents. I love to sing and have the privilege to sing in my mom's choir every Sunday and direct a Youth choir at my parish. I also sing for weddings and funerals. All of these are very rewarding. In 2011, I got to go to World Youth Day in Madrid Spain. During that trip I was blessed with the opportunity to bathe in the water of Lourdes in France. That was an experience that drew me in closer to the Blessed Mother than I ever would have expected. That woman has showed me a lot of beauty in this world. Another influential person I look up to in my life is Mother Angelica...that woman and her sass/slap you in the face with her opinions and advice...brilliant. :) When I have a free moment in life and just want to chill I love taking long walks on the beach (haha if only there were actual beaches in Nebraska! I actually would take a lake beach any day) But on a serious note, I love to cook, watch old 1940/50s movies and I love a good glass of whiskey. I also love taking landscape photography.
  • Rachael, 33 from Malcolm, NE

I come from a large and very traditional family with traditional values. My Catholic faith is the biggest and most important thing in my life. I truly cant imagine my life without it! I was homeschooled K-12, which is something I certainly want to give to my own children someday. I loved being homeschooled and appreciate very much the sacrifice my parents made to give me that amazing gift! As I said, I loved it except for math that is, most of my school years, I hated that subject. :-/ But I believe God truly has a since of humor and when I grew up, I became the accountant for our family business :-) Now, before you think I am nuts! I actually became quite good at it and have even been complemented by accounting firms and bankers for my work. :-) But please, let me back up a bit. Our family company was started by my father, an amazing man of whom I am very proud. He invented, patented and started the business and most of my siblings work in it. It has provided all of us with very good jobs and great opportunities! With that said, I hope you will not think me ungrateful, but it is not what I want to do with my life. Someday I hope to be a stay at home wife and mother, the way my mother is. You know the kind, that makes a really good homemade meal and enjoys making people feel welcome, at home and comfortable. She has given me a beautiful example to follow along with so many wonderful saints who were also wives and mothers! I believe that the husband/father is to be the head of the home and the wife/mother, its heart. And, I hope and I pray, I will be a very good heart one day. In asking my family what positive traits they saw in me, and if you notice kind of a pink glow on this part of my profile, it is just the reflection of my embarrassed face, anyway they said the following, humorous or witty, some said sarcastic but I prefer wittysounds better ;-) gentile, pure, modest, kind, compassionate, understanding, not demanding, prayerful, sincere, good in a tight spot, sticks to a job well, sensitive (this is both a blessing and a curse because although Im sensitive to others feelings I tend to be a little too sensitive myself, it is a fault I am working on ) see the need in someone else and try to do what I can to fill that need. Wow! All that and I only had to do the dishes for about a week. Hey, I come from a large family and it takes a while to pay them all back! Just kidding ;-)

I'm studying to be an elementary teacher. In the meantime I am working year round at my childhood summer camp as well as a nanny-lots of kids! I like to spend my free time outdoors camping, biking, and kayaking.
  • Lindsay, 30 from Lincoln, NE
    30, Lincoln, NE
I may be the biggest Kansas City Royals fan that you ever meet. And an actual legit fan, not a band wagoner who's come on in the last couple seasons that we've been good, but someone who watched the 100 loss seasons. My parents have been fans for so long, that I was going to be named Brett after George Brett had I been born a boy, but seeing as I'm Lindsay, that didn't happen :) The reason I wanna start off with stating my allegiance to my favorite team, is that yes, sports are important to me and I love sports, and will talk sports all day long. Please don't be intimidated by that, if you are, it probably wouldn't work with us. More importantly I bring that up, because my two favorite sports teams are Royals baseball, and Nebraska basketball. Not saying I don't have other teams I cheer for. The reason that these are my favorite teams are because for most of my life they have been underdogs. They have been hard to root for and cheer for. By admitting you were a fan of either of those teams meant there was going to be ridicule associated with that. It forced me to not care what others thought. I had to show loyalty and dedication when it was not easy. Being a fan of these teams shows a little insight into the type of person I am. I don't run away when things get tough, I stick through it. Going to a Catholic school from preschool all the way through college (Benedictine College graduate) I always had my faith as a backbone to all the important relationships in my life. It wasn't until after I graduated and found a real job, that I realized how unique that is, and how important that connection and my faith really are to me and any successful relationship I've had.
