33, Lincoln, NEGod always amazes me with the little and big ways He works in my life! I'm blessed to teach music at a Catholic elementary where I get to attend Mass every day. I love watching my students have fun making music! Most of them are a lot of fun to teach and the more challenging students will hopefully help to make me a better teacher (or drive me crazy--one of the two). I have a fantastic family, made up of two loving parents, two wonderful big sisters, two great brothers-in-law, five beautiful nieces, and five handsome nephews. I love hanging out with them all and wish I got to spend more time playing with my nieces and nephews. I grew up in a Catholic home, but it wasn't until I went to college that I really made my faith my own. I was blessed with a wonderful community at the student parish. It not only strengthened my faith, but also gave me friends who both loved and lived their faith. A few other random tidbits: Although I've been told on far too many occasions that I'm quiet, I prefer to think that God made me a listener so talkers would have someone to listen to them. I've been blessed (or perhaps cursed) with my dad's quirky sense of humor, which is more obvious when I'm comfortable with someone. I tend to be organized and like to have a plan, but I can also be flexible and go with the flow when necessary (very helpful when teaching!). I don't like milk on my cereal. I like the idea of cooking, but I'm far from being an accomplished chef. It's hard to cook for one person, especially when that person has selective taste buds. I enjoy dancing, mostly country swing, but I've also been told I'm good at polkas. I would love to learn some ballroom eventually. I love used bookstores and have overflowing bookcases as a result. I try to find joy in the little things and like to focus on the sunshine, even if it's behind the clouds. (Yes, I realize that sounds rather cheesy, but I'm okay with that.)
65, Lincoln, NEI am wildly Irish, blushingly fun, seriously romantic and exceptionally hug-able. I have a great career, a nice home, a few great friends, and children who like to spend my money- I am the all American woman. I love being with people who are interesting and humorous. Laughter is the key to happiness and I firmly believe it is the best medicine. I spend a lot of time with my family -3 children and 11 grandkids. What I like to do: I enjoy giving time to the my church, I like to have fun, I like to cook, I love my life, but I am missing someone special to share it all. I would like to spend more time traveling and enjoying the finer things in life. I have spent most of my life planning for my future, but I don't want to do it alone.
64, Lincoln, NEMy friends would say I am spontaneous, honest, trustworthy, loyal, caring, passionate, and loving; one who likes to meet interesting and diverse people and discover interesting places. I am comfortable just staying at home, going to the beach, Broadway plays, weekends in Chicago, or riding in a convertible with my hair blowing in the wind. Like my own space and will give you yours. I am comfortable with who I am and where I am in my life. I am a somewhat quiet person who loves to laugh and tease, loves music and salsa dancing. I am looking for some one to enjoy life with, not that you can't do that by yourself, but it would be nice to have a companion. I am blessed with good health, wonderful kids, and grandkids. I am a positive person, not a game player, who thinks life has many good things to offer. I enjoy outdoor activities like walking, hiking, biking, traveling, yard work, watching Husker baseball and football, and when I come indoors to my kitchen, I like to try new recipes. I like to do volunteer work giving back to the community at home and away. My last volunteer experience was to Guatemala building homes; taking extra days to enjoy the country and roast marshmallows on a volcano. I feel it is important to give back to the community, no matter what or where it is. My interests include: Traveling, Latin/Ballroom dancing, quilting, walking, biking, hiking, Husker baseball, photography, listening to books on cd, love all kinds of music, taking care of my yard, and last but not least, spoiling my grandkids.
43, Lincoln, NEI love my church and cherish my faith. I work in higher education & dual-credit education for high school students. I have worked in politics in the past and still follow issues closely, volunteer on campaigns and enjoy discussing anything related. I am blessed with a large extended family that is close-knit and amazing friends. I enjoy a wide variety of interests including travel, the theater, Yankees baseball, wine, stand up comedy, the zoo & wildlife safari, museums, a good biography or nonfiction book, movies and sitcoms. I love to cook, bake and entertain, and am pretty good at all three. :)
62, Lincoln, NEI am a relaxed, independent, happy person that enjoys her life as is and I look forward to meeting new people. I have a job that is satisfying and challenging. Having a job that has this criteria is important to me as I cannot imagine having a job that I did not enjoy. I am active on a daily basis enjoying several types of physical activity, walking, gardening, dancing, biking, etc. I like to read and watch a good movie occasionally. I have my family of 4 children and 7 grandchildren that keep me active as well. We enjoy each other company whenever possible.
49, Lincoln, NEHi, I'm Anne. I'm a teacher, earning my "bucket list" Master's Degree, a proud mom of amazing kids, a practicing Catholic who loves God, and would like to find a good man in order to share life and memories in a Sacramental marriage, if that is God's will. I like to cook, have friends over, have inspiring conversations, help people, enjoy life, laugh, and learn. I was raised in a sports family so I like watching or going to sporting events - especially basketball as well as football or baseball and the sports my kids play in. I usually am a competitor in March Madness pool at work (as much as anyone is). I like debating politics and watching a few of the political shows. I have made peace with my divorce (eight years ago) and am thankful for the kids I have from that time in my life and what I have learned. I am proud of my family, blessed, and happy with my life. I'm feeling like it is time to reach out and share my life with another person.
25, Hastings, NEHi! I am Emily. I adore my family and friends, I love being with my nieces and nephews and watching their many activities! I look forward to meeting someone that is my best friend. I hope to find someone who loves me for who I am and I will do the same for them!
26, Lincoln, NEHi! My name is Samantha (I usually go by Sam). I graduated from SCC Lincoln in the Visual Publications program (graphic design). I am currently furthering my education to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in graphic design at UNL. I love to cross stitch while I watch different shows/movies on Netflix. I love to read, I've recently gotten into James Patterson's books. I love listening to music, I listen to mostly pop, but I have a lot of oldies such as Earth Wind and Fire, the BeeGees, etc. I'm a huge dog lover! I'd like to adopt from the Humane Society in the future. I'm a major Disnerd (Disney fan). I collect Disney Princess memorabilia along with Olaf, from the movie Frozen. It's my goal to go to Disney World someday and to see the ocean while I'm there because I've never seen it in person. I would love to travel in the future to places like Rome, Florence, Kyoto, etc. My favorite color is purple.
33, Lincoln, NEI'm funny, easy-going and very positive. Sometimes I love not having a plan and being spontaneous. When I'm not working, I like going out and having a good time but love to also stay in and relax at home. I truly believe life is what you make of it and Im just looking for someone who feels the same.My family is a big part of my life and I enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I am also a big sports fan. Football (Go Big Red!) and basketball are at the top of my list. About You: You are genuinely a nice guy, funny, caring, and compassionate. You enjoy some of the simple things in life, not materialistic and realize there is way more to life than money can buy. You are mature, can laugh at yourself, and still manage to smile and find humor in even the most stressful situations. You have to be able to handle my sarcasm. You can tear it up with me for a night on the town or just chill at home with nice glass of wine or a cold beer. :)
30, Lincoln, NEI may be the biggest Kansas City Royals fan that you ever meet. And an actual legit fan, not a band wagoner who's come on in the last couple seasons that we've been good, but someone who watched the 100 loss seasons. My parents have been fans for so long, that I was going to be named Brett after George Brett had I been born a boy, but seeing as I'm Lindsay, that didn't happen :) The reason I wanna start off with stating my allegiance to my favorite team, is that yes, sports are important to me and I love sports, and will talk sports all day long. Please don't be intimidated by that, if you are, it probably wouldn't work with us. More importantly I bring that up, because my two favorite sports teams are Royals baseball, and Nebraska basketball. Not saying I don't have other teams I cheer for. The reason that these are my favorite teams are because for most of my life they have been underdogs. They have been hard to root for and cheer for. By admitting you were a fan of either of those teams meant there was going to be ridicule associated with that. It forced me to not care what others thought. I had to show loyalty and dedication when it was not easy. Being a fan of these teams shows a little insight into the type of person I am. I don't run away when things get tough, I stick through it. Going to a Catholic school from preschool all the way through college (Benedictine College graduate) I always had my faith as a backbone to all the important relationships in my life. It wasn't until after I graduated and found a real job, that I realized how unique that is, and how important that connection and my faith really are to me and any successful relationship I've had.
