God always amazes me with the little and big ways He works in my life! I'm blessed to teach music at a Catholic elementary where I get to attend Mass every day. I love watching my students have fun making music! Most of them are a lot of fun to teach and the more challenging students will hopefully help to make me a better teacher (or drive me crazy--one of the two). I have a fantastic family, made up of two loving parents, two wonderful big sisters, two great brothers-in-law, five beautiful nieces, and five handsome nephews. I love hanging out with them all and wish I got to spend more time playing with my nieces and nephews. I grew up in a Catholic home, but it wasn't until I went to college that I really made my faith my own. I was blessed with a wonderful community at the student parish. It not only strengthened my faith, but also gave me friends who both loved and lived their faith. A few other random tidbits: Although I've been told on far too many occasions that I'm quiet, I prefer to think that God made me a listener so talkers would have someone to listen to them. I've been blessed (or perhaps cursed) with my dad's quirky sense of humor, which is more obvious when I'm comfortable with someone. I tend to be organized and like to have a plan, but I can also be flexible and go with the flow when necessary (very helpful when teaching!). I don't like milk on my cereal. I like the idea of cooking, but I'm far from being an accomplished chef. It's hard to cook for one person, especially when that person has selective taste buds. I enjoy dancing, mostly country swing, but I've also been told I'm good at polkas. I would love to learn some ballroom eventually. I love used bookstores and have overflowing bookcases as a result. I try to find joy in the little things and like to focus on the sunshine, even if it's behind the clouds. (Yes, I realize that sounds rather cheesy, but I'm okay with that.)

I am a very outgoing person who believes in the quality of people. I do not judge a person I try to ge to know who they are and what their priciples are. Life it is to short and we need to believe in a person and what they have to offer. I believe profoundly in family and the strength you derive from them and God. I love to read and work out and enjoy my sourrondings. Enjoy being active and having fun. I am a person who is always there for family and friends. I work hard and enjoy the benefits from my work as well as just relaxing.

I dont know what life has in store for me but I cant wait to find out. My family and upbringing have been very influential. I grew up on a farm in southwest Nebraska and was the second oldest of six. We were very close growing up and are still very close even though we are spread throughout the US. I enjoy the opportunity to visit them and see the new locations when they move! I happen to be one of the boring non-moving individuals of the family :) I enjoy going to or watching an occasional sporting event but am sadly lacking in sports knowledge. I never played sports growing up and neither of my parents had much interest in them. If you expect to bond with my dad over a game you will be sadly disappointed; however, youll never have to worry about him rooting for a rival team. I also enjoy going to Broadway, ballet, music, dance, and theater productions and generally get tickets to a handful of performances every year. My parents always encourage me to be independent in obtaining what I want in life. They encouraged me to go to college but were clear with me earlier on that I would be responsible for funding it. Other than contributing a little money toward my first car Ive been responsible for all major purchases in my life from college to car to house. Ill probably end up stubbornly independent like my grandmother and do all sorts of things I shouldnt do because I want to keep my independence. Id like to say I have a boring job as an accountant; however, there always seems to be some flurry of drama happening with my job that makes up for the times I have to force myself to stay awake while reading a 200+ page GASB on pension accounting standards. I could ramble on for paragraphs but will try to save some mystery about myself for further conversations.

I love my church and cherish my faith. I work in higher education & dual-credit education for high school students. I have worked in politics in the past and still follow issues closely, volunteer on campaigns and enjoy discussing anything related. I am blessed with a large extended family that is close-knit and amazing friends. I enjoy a wide variety of interests including travel, the theater, Yankees baseball, wine, stand up comedy, the zoo & wildlife safari, museums, a good biography or nonfiction book, movies and sitcoms. I love to cook, bake and entertain, and am pretty good at all three. :)

I have worked in higher education my whole career and relocated to Nebraska almost 6 years ago to work at a university. I am a social person who likes to be active. I love volleyball both to play and watch. I love watching college athletics, traveling both big trips and short weekend get-a-ways, going to different activities in the community i.e. plays, movies, concerts, museums, as well as casual things like going to a park for a picnic, going for a walk or a bike ride, or just staying home and watching a movie. Although I like eating out, I really like cooking with friends or the person I'm dating. I have a wonderful family with 10 nieces and nephews. Unfortunately, we live in different places so I don't get to see them as frequently as I would like. I have worked very hard to be successful in my career and now I would like to find someone special to enjoy life with.

I am passionate about my life, my kids, doing the right thing, being active and healthy and having fun. I think good values and treating people right is very important. I have a good job, own my own house (mow my own yard!), and volunteer at my church. I work hard and I play hard as well. I have a wicked sense of humor and enjoy intelligent conversation and someone who can joke right back. I think that communication,, commitment, and romance in all aspects of a relationship are exceptionally important. I am looking for a professional man who is honest, loving, secure in himself, and willing to appreciate this second stage in life with a person who will treat you with respect and honesty while having a lot of fun. I enjoy cycling, walking my dogs, snuggling on the couch, holding hands, making dinner together, and all of the things that togetherness brings. I am always willing to try new things and excited to see what you are interested in to encourage me to learn something else.

I am a very family oriented person. I enjoy doing things without my family but it's good to get together with them and do activities with them also. I dream of traveling to many places both in the states and abroad! I enjoy having music in my life, mostly singing in the church choir these days, and listening to many different Broadway soundtracks! I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends.

Hi! My name is Samantha (I usually go by Sam). I graduated from SCC Lincoln in the Visual Publications program (graphic design). I am currently furthering my education to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in graphic design at UNL. I love to cross stitch while I watch different shows/movies on Netflix. I love to read, I've recently gotten into James Patterson's books. I love listening to music, I listen to mostly pop, but I have a lot of oldies such as Earth Wind and Fire, the BeeGees, etc. I'm a huge dog lover! I'd like to adopt from the Humane Society in the future. I'm a major Disnerd (Disney fan). I collect Disney Princess memorabilia along with Olaf, from the movie Frozen. It's my goal to go to Disney World someday and to see the ocean while I'm there because I've never seen it in person. I would love to travel in the future to places like Rome, Florence, Kyoto, etc. My favorite color is purple.

I'm funny, easy-going and very positive. Sometimes I love not having a plan and being spontaneous. When I'm not working, I like going out and having a good time but love to also stay in and relax at home. I truly believe life is what you make of it and Im just looking for someone who feels the same.My family is a big part of my life and I enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I am also a big sports fan. Football (Go Big Red!) and basketball are at the top of my list. About You: You are genuinely a nice guy, funny, caring, and compassionate. You enjoy some of the simple things in life, not materialistic and realize there is way more to life than money can buy. You are mature, can laugh at yourself, and still manage to smile and find humor in even the most stressful situations. You have to be able to handle my sarcasm. You can tear it up with me for a night on the town or just chill at home with nice glass of wine or a cold beer. :)
  • Carolyn, 23 from Lincoln, NE

Hi I'm Carolyn and am absolutely in love with my faith, family, friends, music and teaching. I have one younger brother and am very close to him and my parents. I love to sing and have the privilege to sing in my mom's choir every Sunday and direct a Youth choir at my parish. I also sing for weddings and funerals. All of these are very rewarding. In 2011, I got to go to World Youth Day in Madrid Spain. During that trip I was blessed with the opportunity to bathe in the water of Lourdes in France. That was an experience that drew me in closer to the Blessed Mother than I ever would have expected. That woman has showed me a lot of beauty in this world. Another influential person I look up to in my life is Mother Angelica...that woman and her sass/slap you in the face with her opinions and advice...brilliant. :) When I have a free moment in life and just want to chill I love taking long walks on the beach (haha if only there were actual beaches in Nebraska! I actually would take a lake beach any day) But on a serious note, I love to cook, watch old 1940/50s movies and I love a good glass of whiskey. I also love taking landscape photography.

I'm studying to be an elementary teacher. In the meantime I am working year round at my childhood summer camp as well as a nanny-lots of kids! I like to spend my free time outdoors camping, biking, and kayaking.
