I am an easy-going, practical kind of person, but a romantic at heart. I can be stubbornly independent, but it is hard to make me lose my temper. I also like to have a good laugh- it's not usually hard for me to see the funny side of anything. I enjoy being outdoors and staying active. I am also a bookworm, so I almost always have a book nearby. I also like all kinds of animals and enjoy being around them every day. I don't mind getting dirty or working hard but I also like to dress and act feminine.

Passionate about Faith, Family and Life. . . The good, bad, happy and sad occadsions have influenced me to be strong for others and to seek the hidden gems when chaos abounds. It's too easy to be pessimistic. Leisure time happens when I go for long walks, dance (sometimes in the kitchen), listen to music, XC skiing & snowshoeing ('15), cooking (relaxing), good glass of wine, volunteer at church, scrap booking, bicycling, classical music - I love to try new ventures with family and friends. I'm not a fan of television, I would prefer to attend a play or sports game. Camping and hiking is an activity that I've not had many opportunities to do. Will try again this year. Sharing my home with long distance family and friends brings me comfort. Quiet time with the ones I love dear is God's portrait of my inheritance. Laughing.

Hi there, my name means "little Christ!" Those are incredibly HUGE shoes to fill, but as Catholics, isn't that what we are all striving to do? We're all called to be saints, and I believe if the desire is strong enough, this is achievable. All it takes is total surrender, and the same kind of "YES" that Mary uttered at the Annunciation. The first question asks, "what are you passionate about?" Having lived through a divorce, I would have to say that this fervency for my faith is quite new. Jesus has shown me how much He loves me, and that He will always be there for me. It's been a tough 3 years, but adversity in life is what stretches us to grow, and it's not a matter of "if" the storm will come, but a matter of "when." This may sound corny, but I'm passionate about life now. I have a freedom of spirit that I never knew I had. I'm like a little girl that is ready to go out and experience the world, only now I have wisdom, knowledge and all the other gifts of the Holy Spirit to guide me. As Matthew Kelly challenges us to become the best version of ourselves, I make that my daily goal to say, what one thing can I change today? How can I make someone's life better today? The perfect date for me is fun, fun, fun. It doesn't matter what we do, but it has to involve laughter, a little bit of craziness, and a willingness to try new things together. The world is our oyster! I love to swim, jet-ski, powerboat, sail, bike, walk and hike, go out dancing, picnics, camping and snuggling by the fire. I love books, So many things really.....I'm just getting warmed up.

I never know how to write about myself. It's even asked in the interview process for a new job, tell us about yourself. I always say, well what do you want to know. However a job interview is a lot easier than hopefully one day to find someone to share life with. That is what I most want at this stage of my life. I want to find that best friend. It sounds corny but it's the truth. Someone you want to spend time together, learn from each other, and to grow together to become a better human being. I am very honest. I find communication, honesty, and compromise are the keys to life.
