63, Concord, NHphysically active, mentally contemplative, currently living in a rural log cabin, within earshot of the loons, sight of an iconic New Hampshire mountain, and occasional bears and moose; AND I can literally ski off my porch. I am in love with more things than I have time to indulge: all of nature, especially winter; the arts, music of many kinds incl. classical, Baroque (Vivaldi) medieval, Irish, jazz and blues, even some electronica. I love most forms of dance. Sadly, I never seem to meet anybody who likes roller coasters. I am an artist/illustrator who has gotten some work in print, incl. the 1998 Tolkien Calendar, book covers for young adult fiction. Considering grad school. Teach various community art classes, also work part time at a "regular" job or two. Squeeze in bike rides and skiing when possible. Some favorite stuff: outside my cabin on a night of moon, in January, when the temp is cold enough to make the snow squeak: it is the deepest kind of quiet. Above tree-line around the time of the Summer Solstice when the light is brilliant (and when there's enough wind to blow the black flies away) A wide unpopulated beach in August toward mid-afternoon when the light turns amber. What the November light does to leafless maples against the sides of old New England houses. Calvin and Hobbes. Fawlty Towers. Long bike rides, especially ones with good swoopy downhill stretches. Would love to do a bike tour sometime. Skiing fresh powder. Unfortunately I'm an easily distracted type with an addiction to the printed word. Julia Cameron, in "The Artist's Way", describes words as "tiny tranquilizers". How could she possibly get that so right? Well still, I've squandered altogether too much time painting pictures to be as well read as I'd like. More poetry as I get older; I love Jane Kenyon, (I have snatches of her poems on the fridge), have enjoyed Victor Hugo and Dostoyevsky, and I did my senior project on Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast books. Have you ever read that? Now that is one hell of an interesting - and hilarious - ride. And of course the novel of the century is "The Lord of the Rings". And the movies - thank goodness they finally found Alan Lee somewhere in the middle of England to help with the visualizations: that's where all that melancholic beauty comes from. You can't keep a labor of love down. Recent edit: I should mention that I'm temporarily living in downstate NH with my 95 y o dad. Cuz y'see we took 'is keys away...
61, Rochester, NHMy name is Denise, not Dennis. I am straight, not gay. I only explain this because I've had lots of hits on my profile by other women! I love animals and music. I sing in a Church choir and also a choral group. I love plays and musicals and love to go to Broadway shows. I love Myrtle Beach, Hawaii and Vegas and would love to see more of this country. I retired after 37 years, but am now working part time and love my job. I love my family and friends and enjoy spending time with them. I love to play cards, board games and video games. I enjoy occasional trips to casinos too. I love to travel, but always look forward to coming home, as I'm somewhat of a home body. I love camping, but not in a tent. I love pop-ups, but the last 17 years have been spent camping in 32' and 36' 5th wheels. I loved my campers and referred to them as my summer homes on wheels. I also love the peace and serenity of fishing, but would rather keep my feet on solid ground as I tend to get seasick. I'm not fond of loud people, noisy situations, conflict or drama! I'm not a party person and prefer peace and quiet. I may drink occasionally to be social, but do not like to be around anyone who drinks regularly. I have a deep faith in God and do practice my faith.
66, Salem, NHI am a person down to earth, very romantic, kind, with a good sense of humor. I'm looking for a friend and someone to spend some time together, which eventually could become my better half and that won't get intimidated with a large family gathering because my family is pretty big. I enjoy life and everything that our Lord has created. I think nature is beautiful, but it would be more beautiful if can be share with someone. I love mountains, the beach, working in my garden and time alone at home with the special person of my life doing things together. The person who had more influence on me was my mother. My mother was my friend, my confidence was always there for me in the good times and bad times. I lost my mother in November 2015. My mother was a woman of great faith. Thanks to my mother's example she showed my siblings and me to have faith and to care for others. I thank my mother for her love and teaching; she always taught us to be together and that whenever there is a difference between us siblings to do not let the anger and resentment separate us. I like classical, rock, and country music. I like to watch romantic, comedies and some action movies. I own my home and I love to plant vegetables and flowers. I like to go fishing in the summer time. I I like almost every season of the year, but the one I like the most is fall. I was born in Cuba I came to USA in 1970.

70, Newmarket, NHRaised in New Hampshire it seemed only natural that I moved back when I retired in late 2013 to be closer to my family. I am optimistic, funny, intelligent, thoughtful, responsible, and spiritual. I do like to laugh and laugh often. While I am a New Englander; I now spend my time between NH and the West Indies (when it is cold). Why be cold when it is more pleasant someplace else in the dead of winter? I like to travel, spend time with family and friends and volunteer at my church and professional associations. I particularly just enjoy sitting with someone and having a great conversation; I like knowing and understanding someone's heart. I believe it is important to give back to one's community and profession. Living healthy is important to me although I do not exercise as I should (am bad(:)

63, Hampton, NHHi, My kids are grown and I feel blessed that they are still very much a part of my life. Two years ago I got another pup after I lost my 14.5 year old lab. Now I have a very active fox red American Lab who keeps me moving lots! I like to be outside and active. I kayak in the nice weather, walk my dog lots ,cross-country and downhill ski, bike, some gardening and yard work and generally can find much to do outside. I also am still working in my career in which I hope to remain active for a few more years. I love to explore different towns and cities and generally enjoy any travel. I love living near the beach but find the mountains a perfect respite too. Recently I became re-acquainted with my Catholic faith and have been enjoying learning more and becoming actively involved with some groups through the church. I would really love to find the right someone to enjoy live, family, faith and continue to explore. For me - humor, kindness, integrity, intelligence, spontaneity, faith....did I say humor...are all really important.
