*Possibly moving to alabama in the summer, if you live in NH catch me while you can! If you live in Alabama let's chat! I'm pretty sanguine and tend to be flighty and spontaneous even though I'm usually a homebody- an interesting mix. I'm an Orange personality and oranges have been described as people who if they see a door, will go through it. That's me. I don't stay in one place very long if there is an exit I'm bound to see where it leads. I like getting my 9 hours of sleep each night. I have a Netflix addiction (please someone come watch it with me so I don't feel as bad!) and I enjoy painting and working out. Love taking walks and coffee shops. I like to cook all my meals on the weekend so that when the week comes and I get home I can just eat real quick and relax. Quirky? A little, maybe. I come from a big family and my siblings are my best friends. I love cats. I like board games with friends. Okay that's enough for now haha. Can't wait to meet you! P.S. If I viewed your profile I probably thought you were cute or interesting and it is your turn to message me and show you feel the same! Thanks for viewing my profile!

So about me...that is kind of hard for me to put into words, which I suppose might actually say something about me or my personality...but anyways here goes. My faith and family are extremely important to me and have played a huge part in shaping my life and the person I am today. I don't know where I would be without my faith or my family. It is sometimes hard for others to really know me and who I am since I am not your typical girl. I am not afraid of hard work and I don't mind getting my hands dirty and yet, I enjoy getting all dressed up and putting in the effort to look nice. I know how to change a tire as well as a baby's diaper (a product of working with young children and coming from a large family). I am a very capable person who thinks for herself and enjoys spending time with family and friends. I often spend way too much time reading and tend to be on the quiet side unless I know that person well or unless I really want to say something. I do have quite a few geeky tendencies. I am a big fan of Doctor Who and Star Trek...and Stargate...and a lot more that I could list, but that might take up a lot of this section :)

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. I know this quote is often over-used but this poem has always held a special place in my heart because i feel like it describes a lot of my life since I went to college. I believe everything happens for a reason and consider myself extremely blessed for my past for I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for the trials and triumphs I've experienced thus far. At this point in my life, I am looking for someone to grow with both personally and spiritually. One thing I've learned along the way is that the greatest things happen when you least expect them to. Always remember it's the spontaneity that makes life worth living for!

I recently moved to the East Coast from California to be closer to my mother and friends. I love traveling around locally and exploring the countryside of New England.

My faith is very important to me, the most important thing actually! I love animals and have 2 horses, 3 goats, a dog, a baby puppy, and 2 cats. Those are my animals but I live with my family and we have lots of animals on our small farm. I am a lead teacher at a daycare center and love working with kids. I also teach first communion and 5th and 6th grade at my parish. I love going to mass and go every Sunday plus daily mass when able! In my free time I enjoy going to the ocean, walking, playing with my critters, making earrings, reading, and researching more about my faith! I grew up in a Catholic home with my mom, dad, and four brothers. I don't usually like to rely on others and can definitely hold my own! I guess the most important thing in a relationship for me would be having someone who is willing to grow in faith with me!
  • Clara, 28 from Warner, NH
    28, Warner, NH
Gruess Gott! Hello, my name is Clara, and I am probably one of the more unusual women you will find here. Without my Christian faith, my life would be meaningless. I was a German major in college/university. I love the language, the culture, the poetry, and most of all the music: Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Fanny Hensel, Schumann, Brahms, Mahler. I have a particular interest in the Romantic Era. I love the Mendelssohns and the Schumanns. I come from a traditional ecumenical family. My father is Catholic and my mother is traditional conservative liturgical Methodist. Her ancestors were Lutherans and Mennonites. Ecumenism between Christians and Jews is very important to me. I am not much of an activist, but I have a strong desire to re-unite German Christians and Jews. Jewish thought has been very influential in my understanding of everything. I also grew up in, and still attend, a parish with a reverent Novus Ordo and the 1940 Anglican Hymnal as our main means of worship through music. Music and poetry are my means of understanding. We sing four congregational hymns, in addition to the music which our cantors and organist play and sing during communion, and we sing all the verses. We also use Latin for some of the ordinaries. Our pastor preaches on both the Old and New Testament readings. I'm also a classical voice student. I sing mostly German Lieder. I am a good writer, I love gardening, I paint birds and flowers, and I can cook. I love classic movies and I love to read. Ever since I graduated from university, I have been pursuing ideas using free kindle e-books (among other things). I have a vocation to marriage. I want to pass on the faith to my children, and I want to teach them about everything I know. I am looking for a husband who wants an artistic/intellectual wife, who loves to discuss ideas and/or play music, and who wants to raise a family. I am not a career woman. Marriage and children are my vocation. I have a strong, but easy to live with personality. I am reclusive and shy. I live and thrive best in a home and family environment. Every time I take a personality test, I come up with something very odd "Only 1% of the population have your personality" or "On a scale of A1 through Z5, with A1 being the most common and Z5 five being the most unusual, you come in at Z4." In other words, I'm rather odd. I also speak some Swedish and have studied Scandinavian culture. I am St. Olaf's 33rd great-granddaughter.

First - if you Google search me at "Samantha graduate teaching assistant UNH" and do a little detective work, you can find me! Nerd, life-lover, poet. Happiest outdoors. Currently in grad school at the University of New Hampshire, pursuing my MFA in creative writing. And they let me teach freshmen, which is both rad and probably premature of the university, but I'm not complaining. I've managed a backcountry hut in the Whites, so you could say I'm kind of an outdoorsy person. As much as I love getting outside for some adventures, I'm also down with Netflix binges. Life's all about balance, right? In sum: I like sheep, Catan, and the White Mountains. Bread-baker, knitter, lover of farmhouse domesticity. I have really short hair. I love being outside, long summer nights, good friends, close family, the smell of freshly-cut grass, and puppies.
  • Conor, 24 from Manchester, NH
    24, Manchester, NH
I have just moved to New Hampshire to complete a year of service in the AmeriCorps VISTA program. I am originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Family is really important to me, I am the oldest of four siblings so there was never a dull moment growing up! I've been doing Crossfit for about two months now and I am really digging it! I liked playing sports as a kid (catholic school bball!) but as an adult I really struggled to find a way to stay active. I also like to watch movies and tv shows, listen to books on tape ( I do like reading but love that i can listen to the book no matter what I am doing!) Traveling is also something I am always looking to do. Doesn't matter if it's a town over or a really long plane ride I like to discover and explore new places! I also really like to laugh. I know may people my confess this on their bios but trust me when I say it is probably my favorite thing, the next being dancing.

I am passionate about healthful wholesome living inside and out. I love hitting the slopes almost every weekend in the winter with friends. I also love catching up via phone call with long distance family members. Cooking and exercising keep me busy along with volunteer work at a horsefarm. I love horses and the ways they help people with disabilities learn to love! I'm happy to meet new people on this website as I am also passionate about my faith.
