63, Concord, NHphysically active, mentally contemplative, currently living in a rural log cabin, within earshot of the loons, sight of an iconic New Hampshire mountain, and occasional bears and moose; AND I can literally ski off my porch. I am in love with more things than I have time to indulge: all of nature, especially winter; the arts, music of many kinds incl. classical, Baroque (Vivaldi) medieval, Irish, jazz and blues, even some electronica. I love most forms of dance. Sadly, I never seem to meet anybody who likes roller coasters. I am an artist/illustrator who has gotten some work in print, incl. the 1998 Tolkien Calendar, book covers for young adult fiction. Considering grad school. Teach various community art classes, also work part time at a "regular" job or two. Squeeze in bike rides and skiing when possible. Some favorite stuff: outside my cabin on a night of moon, in January, when the temp is cold enough to make the snow squeak: it is the deepest kind of quiet. Above tree-line around the time of the Summer Solstice when the light is brilliant (and when there's enough wind to blow the black flies away) A wide unpopulated beach in August toward mid-afternoon when the light turns amber. What the November light does to leafless maples against the sides of old New England houses. Calvin and Hobbes. Fawlty Towers. Long bike rides, especially ones with good swoopy downhill stretches. Would love to do a bike tour sometime. Skiing fresh powder. Unfortunately I'm an easily distracted type with an addiction to the printed word. Julia Cameron, in "The Artist's Way", describes words as "tiny tranquilizers". How could she possibly get that so right? Well still, I've squandered altogether too much time painting pictures to be as well read as I'd like. More poetry as I get older; I love Jane Kenyon, (I have snatches of her poems on the fridge), have enjoyed Victor Hugo and Dostoyevsky, and I did my senior project on Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast books. Have you ever read that? Now that is one hell of an interesting - and hilarious - ride. And of course the novel of the century is "The Lord of the Rings". And the movies - thank goodness they finally found Alan Lee somewhere in the middle of England to help with the visualizations: that's where all that melancholic beauty comes from. You can't keep a labor of love down. Recent edit: I should mention that I'm temporarily living in downstate NH with my 95 y o dad. Cuz y'see we took 'is keys away...

26, Fremont, NHSo about me...that is kind of hard for me to put into words, which I suppose might actually say something about me or my personality...but anyways here goes. My faith and family are extremely important to me(as one would expect when you are on a catholic dating site) and have played a huge part in shaping my life and the person I am today. I don't know where I would be without my faith or my family. I have been on here for a few years now and I have yet to meet that someone special. Maybe it's not the right time for me, or maybe it never will be, but I leave that up to God. That is why I am still on here, I had hoped to have met someone the usually way, but alas that does not seem to work for me. It also might have had something to do with living in a small town from the northern part of the state, but I have since moved down to the southern part of the state for my job. My likes and personality can be a bit contradictory at times. I am not your typical girl. I am not afraid of hard work and I don't mind getting my hands dirty and yet, I enjoy getting all dressed up. I know how to change a tire as well as a babies diaper. (A product of working with young children and coming from a large family). I am a very capable person who thinks for herself and enjoys spending time with family and friends. I often spend way too much time reading and tend to be on the quiet side unless I really want to say something. I do have quite a few geeky tendencies. I am a big fan of Doctor Who and Star Trek...and Stargate...and a lot more that I could list, but that might take up a lot of this section :)
60, Concord, NHAlthough the details of my introduction may seem less than exciting, I do have a wicked sense of humor and try very hard to live in the moment. I am an even-tempered, down-to-earth woman who loves the outdoors, dogs, books, and time with family. I have a witty sense of humor and have been called an academic. I am curious and love to travel. I enjoy canoeing, hiking, and biking NH's many Rails to Trails. I work in a legal setting and am passionate about equal access to justice and about helping others. I have been through too much in life to sweat the small stuff and I try to keep eternity's values in view. I am looking for a man who considers family and faith important, who shares my love of dogs and the outdoors, and someone who makes me laugh. My idea of a perfect evening is a candlelit dinner, a long walk holding hands, and a fire in the fireplace.
24, Exeter, NHWhere do I begin?..I guess at the beginning: I was born and raised in New Hampshire, and I love it here, but I also love to explore and travel to new places. I am the third of four girls, and I am very close with my family. I was raised a cradle Catholic, but did not get very deep into my faith until later in high school. I graduated from Franciscan University with a degree in social work and immediately went on to grad school and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Master's degree in social work. I love working with children and families, and I plan to make a career out of serving them. I love spending time with friends, whether it be sitting around a fire, going to out, or doing something new. I don't know what else you want to know about me, so please ask!
49, Exeter, NHI am passionate about my Faith as I know with GOD all things are possible. I am a professional woman who loves to laugh and live life to the fullest with a very adventurous side. I love motorcycles and just got my license this past July. I purchased the Harley before taking the riders safety course to get my license. One week later, I was placed in the course due to a cancellation and had my license 9 days after the purchase of my bike. I would love to share this passion with my BFF if that is my calling for God! I like hiking, cycling, walking, kayaking, paddle boarding and working out at the gym. I am always up for an adventure, I love exploring new things and having a great time. I am very outgoing, spontaneous and I am looking for the same qualities in my future partner. I am very affectionate, warm hearted and spending quality time with my partner is a must. Honesty, trust, being affectionate and having the willingness to communicate are really important qualities that I am looking for. Please say hello if my profile interests you.

24, Derry, NHI'm passionate first and foremost about my faith and family; after that comes friends, health, art, service, and everything else. I love spending time with family, friends, singing, exploring, volunteering, and doing anything outdoors for fun: biking, hiking, tennis, walking, swimming, and going to the beach. I've grown up in a family of writers and musicians, so I'm a classically trained pianist and singer, but I would still consider myself very down-to-earth. We travelled a lot as a family, so I've lived in Italy, Austria, and Croatia. Theater has also played a big role in my life. I love kids and teaching, and would like to do more than private music lessons. I'm a caring person, so one of my favorite jobs has been working with disabled individuals with Alzheimer's and dimentia.
