I enjoy the life I have been given and I am thankful to God everyday. I enjoy spending time with the family and friends that he has placed in my life and the new friends he continues to send my way. There are many things I enjoy and find beauty in such as an evening walk as the sun is setting around the neighborhood, walking along a beach, hiking a mountain trail, watching my football team win, catching up with a friend, losing track of all time while perusing a book store or museum, traveling to someplace new, or the pure joy and laughter of a child.

I've been single for many years, but am beginning to see how much fuller life could be if shared with a loved equal--with another intelligent, kind, free-spirited, genuine, and devoted adult. I'm "here" mainly, I think, because I've been very busy these past 30 years! ; ) Traveling, raising a family, educating myself for the profession I choose, and then, re-imagining all of this once I realized my interest in contributing to the world was larger than I'd originally imagined! And now, as I've sort of "looked up" from the work and the full-time parenting, I've realized that it's almost impossible to meet and get to know good, interesting, single men that might make a real life partner. So, I am transitioning, on-the-fly, as we're all forced to change: without a real plan. But, what's wonderful is that over the past several years, I've learned to rely on the fact that I am already loved, by a loving God, who has a loving plan for me. It is a walk of faith. I love being outdoors, because.....well, because it's the best place to be. I find myself land-locked in my home state (New Mexico is magic, and it is home in many, many ways, but I've lived all sorts of places, and there's something to love about every place I've been), but I have a natural affinity for the sea. The sea inspires me as the mountains do, though: nearly infinite, full of wonder and adventure; I feel a sense of deep respect and awe and connection in these places -- it's true, I think, that we're closest to God when we're absorbing nature. And, I think, too, closest to God when we're loving. Serving. Mourning. Full of gratitude.

I am an outgoing, athletic, kind, loving woman. I am passionate about being a 'good' person to all I meet. Showing our true selves to the world, loving, generous and caring. I try never to pass someone on the street without a hello or smile. We don't know what they are going thru, your smile and hello just might be the thing they need at that time. Go show God to people. See God in others. I love to hike, bike, kayak, ski and do just about anything outside. My father taught me to ski, play tennis, throw a ball, love nature, be kind to strangers, love one another and to never give up. Both my parents had staying power in all the things they did in their lives. Examples of love and resilience that are not always seen in today's world. I hope that I have half the strength they had. What can I say here that would catch your interest? Maybe that I am training to hike the Appalachian Trail this spring. It will take 5-6 months, as long as my knees hold out. I am excited about it and long to get on the trail. I am not a winter hiker, so I wait, as patiently as I am able. Let me know if you have done this or have any trail wisdom I might need to make the trip more livable. Any info on good light trail food is always welcome.

As a well preserved baby boomer, there's still SO much of life to live! Life is an adventure. Whether it's a planned or extemporaneous event, joy and rewards await! It matters not whether it's an African safari (which I treasured! and where athletic cheetahs convinced me that swimming and HIIT pay off), a trip to a national park (which I hope there are MANY more of), skiing anywhere (Park City, Jackson?), or a hike (I've yet to descend to the bottom of the Grand Canyon), swim or bike ride nearby, I'm in. Are you scuba certified? I aspire to be. How else will we find Flipper and Nemo? I delight in being with family and friends, anywhere, any time. What's life without a HUGE dose of frivolity and love? I cherish memories from Hawaii vacations, Jersey shore expeditions and skiing the West. But when the chips are down, you want me on your team. I'm in it for the long haul. I'll listen until you can no longer speak, I'll cry with you, I'll cook for you, I'll move heaven and earth to cheer you up! Life isn't worth living without music. I'm equally apt to shake my bootie to Bach or Marvin Gaye, in the car or on a dance floor. The opera, symphony and live performances make my heart sing. The ballet harkens me back to spinning in a tutu on my toe shoes. Exhilaration is everywhere. Like when I drive you blindfolded to 1 of my favorite haunts for fish tacos or mouth-watering elk. Childlike wonder is a gift from God. Where would I be without my faith? It colors everything I do. It's the basis for my integrity. I'll go to bat over a nickel if it's a matter of principle. My faith provides energy when working very difficult cases in my non-profit work. It furnishes the impetus to smile at everyone I encounter. And after church, I'll cook you an omelette that will leave you breathtaken-just so you'll have enough energy to hike with me among the saguaros or redwoods or scoot off to a movie.

Hi! I'm Ashley :) A bit about myself... I was born and raised in New Mexico. I am the oldest of 8 kids (6 brothers, 1 sister), so there's never a dull moment when we're together. Love my big family! I love to laugh, and am rather proficient at the cracking of corny jokes. I speak sarcasm and banter quite fluently, and have mastered the art of the quizzical brow. Impressed? ;) I'm what I've heard described as an outgoing introvert; I like being social now and then, but I also need time to reflect, unwind, and recharge my batteries. I love a lot of different things including: music (both playing and listening -- I am a harpist), art, writing, hiking, reading, dancing, cake decorating, horseback riding, off-roading with friends, and hanging out with the family. I am kind of a huge nerd, and I love to read (especially Austen, Tolkien, Dickens, Bronte, Lewis and many more) as well as play video games. I really like trying and learning new things! My faith is the most important thing to me, so I'd really like to find someone who shares it. I am really bad at writing about myself! So I guess that's it for now. :)

Hi! My name is Chelsea. I'm an easy-going, 3rd year law student and I reside in the Southwest at present with two German Shepherds and a lot of books. I cherish friends, family, and good coffee! I'm also rather partial to red wine, traveling, reading, thoughtful conversation, music, philosophy, and thoughtful human beings generally. I am pretty well rounded in the sorts of things I appreciate. I am one of six siblings, and spent a lot of time with my three brothers growing up. I like all kinds of sports, and I like being outdoors generally, being at the beach, swimming, fishing, and have recently discovered a great appreciation for hiking in the beautiful mountains in and around my area. But, I also really appreciate the more refined things in life. I enjoy the symphony and the ballet, and love the opera. I appreciate good art, good movies, and good books. I have six funny, brilliant nieces and nephews that are my heart and that I love spending time with. Most of my family still lives in Florida, so I try to get back that way several times a year. I love where I live currently, but I also love traveling.

I've been through more than way too much in my entire lifetime, which has made me an even more spiritual woman as I was born to be a mystic psychic person all my life. ISO of a totally spiritual marriage based on total respect and mutual respect of each other and of God and all our Angels and Spirit Guides as well as all our Saints. Sex is so passe. It is so carnal that it will only come up at very appropriate times much later in our marriage as our focus is on our own spiritual mutualness and our own growth in our needed areas. I'm also an Usui Reiki Master ISO of a person with a similiar field or a medical field or close to that. Someone real who knows the most important things in Life are relating to each other and being totally selfless and not a typical self-absorbed AH like most men have shown themselves to be in my younger years. Male partner must NOT have ADD/ADHD or OCD or any type of anxiety disorder. Must be a totally stable, reliable, secure, a very loving Catholic person and a total animal lover to the fullest. Must be totally respectful of and loving with persons of all disabilities. I'm also a Stroke Survivor, 4 TIAs so I'm much stronger emotionally after all of these experiences plus some specific family experiences which have taught me so much about positive/negative human energies which can bless or interfere with our living processes. Must be a totally positive energy person. NO BS tolerated. Thanks. Professions that are accepted: medical, dental, surgical, legal, business, animal sanctuary type of professions, no cattlemen, no LE officers, no military unless retired. Thanks.
