The abbreviated version---Faith and family are my priorities. I am strong willed and motivated. I enjoy working out, the out doors, and the opportunity to learn something new. I appreciate a good sense of humor but also a meaningful conversation. Feel free to say hello :)

I enjoy the life I have been given and I am thankful to God everyday. I enjoy spending time with the family and friends that he has placed in my life and the new friends he continues to send my way. There are many things I enjoy and find beauty in such as an evening walk as the sun is setting around the neighborhood, walking along a beach, hiking a mountain trail, watching my football team win, catching up with a friend, losing track of all time while perusing a book store or museum, traveling to someplace new, or the pure joy and laughter of a child.

As a well preserved baby boomer, there's still SO much of life to live! Life is an adventure. Whether it's a planned or extemporaneous event, joy and rewards await! It matters not whether it's an African safari (which I treasured! and where athletic cheetahs convinced me that swimming and HIIT pay off), a trip to a national park (which I hope there are MANY more of), skiing anywhere (Park City, Jackson?), or a hike (I've yet to descend to the bottom of the Grand Canyon), swim or bike ride nearby, I'm in. Are you scuba certified? I aspire to be. How else will we find Flipper and Nemo? I delight in being with family and friends, anywhere, any time. What's life without a HUGE dose of frivolity and love? I cherish memories from Hawaii vacations, Jersey shore expeditions and skiing the West. But when the chips are down, you want me on your team. I'm in it for the long haul. I'll listen until you can no longer speak, I'll cry with you, I'll cook for you, I'll move heaven and earth to cheer you up! Life isn't worth living without music. I'm equally apt to shake my bootie to Bach or Marvin Gaye, in the car or on a dance floor. The opera, symphony and live performances make my heart sing. The ballet harkens me back to spinning in a tutu on my toe shoes. Exhilaration is everywhere. Like when I drive you blindfolded to 1 of my favorite haunts for fish tacos or mouth-watering elk. Childlike wonder is a gift from God. Where would I be without my faith? It colors everything I do. It's the basis for my integrity. I'll go to bat over a nickel if it's a matter of principle. My faith provides energy when working very difficult cases in my non-profit work. It furnishes the impetus to smile at everyone I encounter. And after church, I'll cook you an omelette that will leave you breathtaken-just so you'll have enough energy to hike with me among the saguaros or redwoods or scoot off to a movie.

I am a woman that enjoys the outdoors and the indoors as well. I like to go for a walk daily. I enjoy exercising, which includes a variety of ways of getting exercise, like riding my bike. I enjoy camping and cooking outdoors is the best. I draw and have a talent which I have shown here. I truly enjoy puzzles and have a system working them out. I have animals which keep me company. I am involved with my church as a lector, eucharistic minister, and in the choir. I am also involved in the pro-life minister. I could go on to speak about myself, but I think I have painted a picture of the kind of woman I am.

I am a faithful, joyful person. I love to do a lot of things, especially things that involve being outside. I am from the Chicago area, but moved to rural New Mexico. I love it here. I hike often, enjoy bird watching, love the sunrise and the mountains, I fish and hunt some, like to bike, kayak, cook, garden, and be lazy on occasion...but none of these things compare to sitting at the feet of Jesus. As a person, I am pretty easy going and up for anything. I live in joy, even when I am sad, thanks be to Jesus Christ. I am introverted by nature, but I don't have a problem jumping in to new environments and getting myself involved.

I am new to this scene. I am more old fashioned than new age. I like getting to know people of all ages. My faith is important to me and would like to find someone who enjoys going to mass.

Hello, New to the area, but I have family and friends here in New Mexico. Moved here from a neighboring state. I am curious and willing to know more about Albuquerque. I have been active on and off with outdoor activity; outrigger paddling, running or walking. I love getting out to museums and local events, I think it holds a lot of the city's character. So far, I've enjoyed the Catholic Churches here in Albuquerque. There is such a strong historical connection and cultural heritage intertwined as well. I'm very close to my family and we travel long distance to keep our family bond strong. I truly appreciate family gatherings, there are important to me. I enjoy going out: a walk in park, adventuring a new restaurant, going to a theater for a musical, or movie theater, an outing to a baseball game or just meeting for coffee. More than anything, I love to meet for coffee.

I've been in the midst of a life transition for some time and find myself resettling in the southwest after living in Virginia for 30 years. With my only son now on his own after graduating from college, I am free to start a new stage in my life. I love the southwest and also have been feeling called here to work and serve at the U.S.-Mexico border. I've volunteered in various capacities in El Paso a few times now and I truly feel my heart being drawn here, especially to work alongside the migrants and refugees and the marginalized of society. Plus, I love the beauty of the area. I'm an outdoors person who enjoys hiking, walking/jogging, and being in nature in general. I'm not a frilly kind of woman who doesn't like to get her hands dirty. The earth is one way that I connect with God, and I like to use all my senses in the experience. As a freelance writer/editor, I have been self-employed for a number of years, but now I find myself wanting to use my creative side more. Creative writing really is my first love. I consider myself to be a creative, compassionate, and contemplative woman, who is very self-aware, and I am seeking someone who knows himself well and is as independent as I am, yet desires the companionship and intimacy of a mature relationship. I was actually born and raised in Massachusetts, but have lived in four different states at one time or another. I graduated from Catholic elementary and high school, and I'd say my faith and spiritual life have evolved over the years. I see life much differently now as a result of my experiences. The death of my husband and other losses and challenges in my life have deepened and strengthened my faith, and I have opened to different spiritual paths along the way. My spiritual life is vital to me and I have a daily spiritual practice of centering prayer, often combined with other practices. At this point in my life, I am very aware that my life is about Something more than myself. In my leisure time I enjoy reading, writing, walking, hiking, and exploring new places. I believe life is mean to be lived to the fullest. We have been gifted with an abundance, and we are meant to enjoy and share it.

I am looking for my best friend. I have been widowed 2 1/2 years and miss the companionship. I enjoy fishing (mostly out of a boat), day travel, playing cards, taking walks and holding hands, and I really like dancing (mostly the western 2 step and waltzing.) I feel very close to Jesus and would enjoy talking to my best friend about our devotion to him. I try to stay healthy and would like my friend to be the same.
