Hi, thank you for viewing my page. Like most single woman, I am seeking kind, honest, caring, one-woman loving gentleman for friendship first and then who knows? He must be single, unattached, a non-smoker and non-drug user, preferably in his 60's. Communication is key in any relationship. Therefore, he must be a good communicator, have a good sense of humor and care about his appearance. I am a one-man woman who is sensitive, caring, nurturing and honest. I am looking for the same in a partner. I enjoy travel, dancing, the theatre, concerts, the movies, miniature golfing, casino gambling, romantic candlelight dinners and good conversation or just staying at home cuddling next to that special someone and watching TV or a movie. I raised three wonderful children as a single mom and am proud to say that they are intelligent and successful adults with good careers. I also have four grandchildren. Family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them and especially with my grandchildren. They are my pride and joy. However, there is still a void in my life and now it is time for me to begin my next chapter and hopefully find that special someone to share things with, travel with and enjoy the rest of my life with. Could that be you?

I am an individual who likes doing things for others and being attentive to other people's feelings. I enjoy going out to restaurants and going for walks. I rose to the top of profession by earning my Doctoral degree and have a passion for teaching nurse's how to care for patients in an acute care hospital. In 2009, I received the Wholeness of Life Award from the HealthCare Chaplaincy Foundation in New York City for being a humanitarian and incorporating faith in my work. I am very active in my parish, I teach religion to the 8th grade class and I am a Eucharistic Minister in my parish. I have a large social circle and I also enjoy taking cooking classes. I love to cook new and interesting dishes for my friends and family. I am looking forward to meeting someone to have fun with and share experiences with. Even though my hair may be salt and pepper, I have a good sense of humor and a lot of energy!

I enjoy daily life through healthy activities that include exercise, good food and relaxation. I regularly go to a gym and spend evenings reading and listening to music. I live in a large urban environment and take advantage of various cultural institutions and events. I prefer to avoid crowds and seek quiet spaces. I look forward to sharing time with the right person. My parents who were married for 65 years and Catholic school education through 12th grade have been the greatest influences in my life.

Although I have been a widow for some time, I have not yet tried online dating. This is a leap of faith for me. I had a wonderful husband and a very happy marriage. I am looking for a kind, sweet person who finds the good in people, who has a positive outlook on life, and who believes that the best gifts that can be given cannot be bought. A sense of humor is a must. A Yankee fan is a definite plus.

I'm a woman of many interests and abilities with integrity and a joyful attitude in that there are yet more adventures in the new things to see and learn in this world. I am from Northern European heritage, and reserved but very present in demeanor. I can be outgoing, but mostly I'm quiet, pondering things. That gives me the imagination to try new activities. There is longevity in my family, and I look and feel 15-20 years younger than what my birth certificate says (photo fairly current). That makes me feel that there is still a lot of time for discoveries. I lost my husband in September 2012. We were together many years and enjoyed a great relationship where we cheered each other on to grow and succeed in our separate and shared interests. Although I did not birth any child of my own, I have two stepdaughters whom my husband raised from infancy as a single father, having had to divorce his wife about 16 years before we met. After his girls were married, he got his church annulment, and we were married in the Catholic Church. My stepdaughters, their husbands and my five grandchildren continue to be a large part of my life. So do my friends and cousins and performing arts activities. I retired early from the corporate world as an insurance agent and bank officer at JP Morgan Chase after 25 years there. Then I more fully pursued theater, film and opera for which I'd continued training throughout the years. I spent 8-1/2 years as a church soloist and section leader in Catholic and Protestant churches. More recently, there have been opera and oratorio works. I've taken a hiatus since December, but will probably get back into the flow later this year. Meanwhile, I've been watching my friends perform locally and in NYC.

My interests vary from volunteering in the Pastoral Care Dept. of a local hospital to playing Mahjongg with my friends. I have a great church family, friendly and supportive. I'm active in my church and assist as a Eucharistic Minister when needed. My family is most important to me and we visit frequently. What's missing? Someone to love and care for. Life is lonely now and I'm looking for the contentment that a loving partner can bring to my life. I'm a down to earth, sincere person who is just as happy at home as I am in a social situation. I need a partner to share life with, whether it be good or bad, sunshine or rain. If you're out there, I'm looking for you.
