46, Albany, NYI am a "cradle Catholic" whose faith is first in my life. I enjoy reading, hiking, and classical music concerts. I am somewhat of a "homebody" but do my share of socializing.
32, Catskill, NYIf diamonds are made under pressure, I'm sure to be a rare beautiful find.... I'm pretty open minded and I will usually try anything once. I love anything that encompasses the outdoors. I like going out and having fun with family and friends, but I also like being home and relaxing. There is always a happy medium. I am a proud single parent of a beautiful 4.5 year old boy. He is my one and only and will always come first! I don't mind getting dirty with house work or outdoorsy things. I also am a girly girl and know how to dress well and play that part of something special on your arm when that needs to be done. Bottom line...... I'm looking for someone who will make me laugh and smile. Someone who will walk beside me in life and who is my counterpart.... No games please! If you'd like to get to know me more..... Just ask!
41, Glenmont, NYI love to travel to anyplace new and I love water----Lake Bomoseen, Vermont is my favorite place in the world. I read a lot in my spare time and one of my favorite authors is C. S. Lewis. At home I always have music on and I like to cook and collect antiques (when I can find affordable ones!)
68, Schenectady, NYGenerations of Catholics have admired this young saint, called her the "Little Flower", and found in her short life more inspiration for own lives than in volumes by theologians. Yet Therese died when she was 24, after having lived as cloistered Carmelite for less than ten years. She never went on missions, never founded a religious order, never performed great works. The only book of hers, published after her death, was an brief edited version of her journal called "Story of a Soul." (Collections of her letters and restored versions of her journals have been published recently.) But within 28 years of her death, the public demand was so great that she was canonized. Over the years, some modern Catholics have turned away from her because they associate her with over- sentimentalized piety and yet the message she has for us is still as compelling and simple as it was almost a century ago.
50, Slingerlands, NYI am very passionate about life and want to share it with someone very special. I believe being able to share the gift of the Catholic faith, and keeping God at the center of one's life always, is essential to having rewarding and lasting relationships.I am very family oriented and love kids. I have two terrific teenage boys. I have always been a hands on mom, and we enjoy a very close and loving relationship. I am hard working and goal oriented, yet I am very easy going and carefree. I believe it's important to have a good balance in life. I enjoy being social, and being flexible is the key to enjoying newer and greater experiences. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I love sports; both playing them and watching them. Both of my boys have always been very active in sports. I enjoy going to their games and seeing them develop into the fine athletes that they have become. My favorite sport is football. I am a huge Washington Redskin fan.( stop laughing !!) I guess there's your proof of my sense of loyalty. ; ) Sports brings out the competitive nature in me. I really enjoy learning. The learning process never ends. I appreciate, very much, someone who shares their knowledge and intellect, whether it's an article they recently read, learning how things work, and most importantly learning more about God.I am looking for my best friend. Someone who appreciates even the simple things in life, such as holding hands while taking a walk or a beautiful sunset. I am looking forward to sharing life's greatest moments with my partner as well as to share in life's more challenging times. I can't wait to discover everything about my best friend; their likes and dislikes.
