I am an intelligent, fun loving, affectionate person, with a good sense of humor.I am seeking a partner with the same qualities. I tend to be a little shy and quiet, until I get to know someone. I married late in life, and sadly lost my husband very suddenly 9 years ago. Since then I have been on my own, but now would like to meet someone to enjoy the rest of my life with. I enjoyed an exciting career in the Information Technology field, am still available for consulting work, but consider myself to be semi-retired. I would like to meet an intelligent, caring person, who is honest, sincere, and likes to have a good time. I would like to start by being friends, and hope that the relationship would evolve into a serious one. I enjoy cross country skiing, swimming, the Saratoga racetrack, playing golf (novice+), dining out, dancing, delicious food and drink. I can be happy going on an adventure, or just staying home for a quiet evening.

I am passionate about life. I feel fortunate to be surrounded by loving friends and family and appreciate all the many gifts God has given me. My leisure time is spent gardening, golfing, reading, volunteering in my Parish, planning my next trip and cooking for friends and family. I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to many European countries, see great museums and and enjoy wonderful meals. My work is very fulfilling and enjoyable and I am able to schedule frequent vacations to recharge my batteries.

I look forward to going to Mass every day. Back in 1967 I was in the hospital for almost 6 months, a germ of a virus destroyed most of my nerve system. My faith, friends from my then current church and family got me through the ordeal. I was paralyzed from my neck down. With physical therapy I was left with foot drop and now wear braces to keep my balance. My hands and hips aren't quite normal but thank the LORD I am alive and do get around. All my time is leisure as I am retired. I like to alternate between reading, a few games on computer and some favorite TV programs. The goals I had set for my life (when I was young) was to be a wife and mother. That was achieved. Had 6 children. Worked for the same company for 30 yrs (insurance company-auto&home personal insurance underwriter). Retired 2002.

I am a single woman. Lost my best friend a couple of years ago to cancer. I miss him and the good times we shared. I am involved with church and some senior activities. I like to read. I walk every day with my dog, weather permitting. I like to travel; especially to Canada. Many people have influenced my life within my family and good friends. I have had a few part-time jobs since retirement 13 years ago. Was a substitute teacher, census worker and deputy town clerk. I work summers at our local museum. I think it is important to keep active mentally and physically. I have a good sense of humor and do not get too excited over minor distractions.

I am an optimistic, cheery person and a people person. I like to be out on nature on walks or by the beach. I love outdoor concerts, picnics, antiquing, festivals of all kinds and taking in a good movie. I love to continue to grow in my faith and enjoy attending events such as charismatic conferences, Women Of Faith events or seeing Pastor Joel Osteen, which I've done numerous times. I like to watch EWTN whenever I can. I am a grateful person and continually praise God for his provisions and care over me and His world. No matter what my circumstances I try to seek God's will for my life. I respect others, am considerate, responsible and I seek the same in a partner. I enjoy socializing and I am an energetic person. I also like to make time to spend alone. I like to be generous with my God given gifts and enjoy volunteering at my Church. I really just enjoy living my life and would love to share it with someone who is like minded.

Been a widow for 12 years and miss the love and companionship of having a husband. Don't like being a widow and therefore stick close to home, family and dear friends. Would be open to meeting a Catholic gentleman for friendship, out for lunch or dinner, maybe a movie, church sponsored event. Used to be very athletic--skiing, etc., but not at the present time. Am grateful for many lifelong friendships and keep in touch with old friends either via telephone, E mail, birthday cards, lunch dates, and the like. My favorite leisure time is spent with my adult children and 4 and 7 yr. old grandchildren. Would like to meet someone with similar interests.

Family is probably the most important thing to me. We grew up in a large Italian family and do things together often. I attend church regularly, am involved in community organizations and work part time. I love my children and grandchildren dearly and do things with them whenever possible. I love the ocean and taking cruises. Summer is my favorite season because I love to be out in the warm weather, going to the beach, having picnics. I go to the Y at least 3 times a week. I love reading, funny and romantic movies.

I consider myself a minimalist and am trying to simplify my life in a lot of ways, but listed below are some things I just can't live without. These things are not in any order and none are necessarily more important than the other, so here they are: Netflix; Books on Tape; Montepulciano d'abruzzo; cell phone; milk paint; Sirius XM; my In-Styler. What about you?
