68, Saratoga Springs, NYI am a widow with six children, all of whom are on their own. I have ten grandchildren and live in an apartment in one of my daughter's homes. I take care of her twin toddlers five days a week. This is quite a change from the corporate life I was familiar with. I really like it but it definitely is a change in life style. I disliked living alone after my last child graduated from college five years ago and then four years ago I lost my job and one of my daughters offered an attractive alternative. I see four of my six children on a very regular basis and travel occasionally to visit the other two. One of my brothers lives in NYC and the other lives in AZ. I have a cousin who is a widow as well and she lives in Saratoga. When I was working I was an executive assistant to a corporate officer and in that capacity I had broad and varied levels of responsibilites. While I loved my job, I am much happier now babysitting my grandchildren and knitting. I like to go out to dinner and a movie. I like concerts and skating shows. I traveled quite a lot with my job and arranged a great deal of travel and am mostly content to stay local although an occcasional trip is nice. I have had exposure to many different cultures in my work and am comfortable with most. I have fair skin and try to avoid the sun. I like most animals although personally don't have any pets currently. There is an annoying dog where I live now. Being a bio major, one of my daughters had a wide variety of pets over the years. I am most comfortable around academic men who are kind and considerate. I don't care for men who use profanity on a regular basis. I don't smoke, find it offensive and have never done drugs.

Besides church, I also look forward to a leadership club meeting I have twice a month. Right now a person in my life who is very influential is a friend from work. She is very kind and really helping to further strengthen my faith and develop both personally and spiritually. In my leisure time I enjoy watching EWTN, journaling, walking around the city, and taking time to relax, pray, or research a topic of interest.

30, Albany, NYHi there! Thanks for visiting my page! :) I am proud to be from the great Albany area! Right now I work seasonally as an Exam Scorer. Yes, I help grade all those state-mandated tests you took during school! I have a History degree, but its not very employable. To that end, I am doing an online college certificate program to get a lab job in the medical field. I should be finishing the program in Summer 2017. Here are some facts about me I hope you find interesting: If I won the lottery (I won't because I don't play), I would keep going to college for the rest of my life. I would put the rest into a fund to preserve and restore our area's beautiful historic buildings. My best buddy is my stuffed dog Dee Dee. I love singing in my community choir but can hardly hit a note. Luckily, lots of wonderful singers in the group drown me out! I hope to take private singing lessons at some point. My favorite store is Bass Pro Shops. My favorite mode of transportation is Amtrak I am involved in an organization that promotes public speaking and leadership skills. It is fun to perform at the meetings, and at other times to help manage the meetings Finally, I am part of a local church fellowship group I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles. I recently created a handmade gourd drum and am learning how to play it. I also received a hula hoop, and am still trying to get the hang of it. I enjoy journaling and freestyle fiction writing I recently attended a Great Books program. My favorite book from that program was "Dead Souls" by Nikolai Gogol. The book was both witty and mysterious. Gogol does great short stories, too! I recommend "The Overcoat" and "The Nose." I hardly watch TV or movies, and usually when I do, its EWTN or something else religiously related. I also enjoy documentaries One of the most beautiful movies I have seen is "Diary of a Country Priest." Some of my favorite plays are "Hedda Gabler," "The Elephant in the Graveyard," and "Waiting for Godot" I prefer choral and orchestra pieces like Gregorian chant. One really fun piece we did in my choir recently was Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms." I do like to jam to popular music now and then, too! Thank you for reading my profile. :)
