61, Rochester, NYI'm taking a break from CM as of October 6, 2016. Don't know exactly when or if I'll be back, but if I come back, you'll find me in the forums. Hi, I'm Ginny. God is good. Life is interesting. I'm content. But I am looking around to see if God has a man in mind for me to love. I grew up in a family of 8 kids with an Irish/Catholic mother and a Scots/Protestant father. Mom taught me to be gracious, loving, patient and generous. She taught me how to change cloth diapers, and never to hold a baby away from myself even when he's spitting up. She taught me to cook by giving me free rein in the kitchen. It was from Mom that I learned home nursing because, "Dying is hard enough, no one should have to do it alone." In this family, we always take care of our own. She also encouraged me to drive a little faster than the speed limit on country back roads when we were running late. My Dad taught me to be fearless but not foolish. He convinced me that whatever I have is enough, I just have to be smart about spending it. He taught me to drive safely, "Slow down! I don't want to pay for any tickets." He's the most honest man I know; I try to match his integrity. Dad raised me to believe that I can do whatever needs doing, even if it means using a pair of pliers to pull a bent broken needle out of my screaming child's foot... and then, once the crisis is over, to find a private spot to throw up or faint. There are lots of people in my life; parents, siblings, children and even grandchildren. I've raised my own 5 children and now have the privilege of helping my father. Mom passed peacefully at home. She was anointed on Monday, stepped into eternity on Thursday. I had just prayed over her; Dad was holding her hand. Did I mention God is good? I was divorced after 25 years of marriage, but God has been gracious every step of the way. The declaration of nullity granted more than 10 years ago means I am free to marry in the Church. I don't really know if God has another husband in His plans for my future, but I do know it would take an exceptional man for me to give up the autonomy I've found. He'd need a healthy sense of humor to cope with me. Integrity and a strong faith in God are absolutely necessary. Bonus points for fishing skills, intelligence and dog-friendliness. So, who are you?

Traveling is one of my favorite pass-times. As soon as I get back from one trip I'm planning my next one. This past year has been in France teaching English to middle and high school kids. Now I'm working in a precious metals company in their analytical lab. I love being creative and spending time with my dogs. Photography, painting and music are some of my favorite hobbies. 50, Penfield, NYHi. I am an empty nester with 2 great college age kids who are nearby but busy. I work fulltime half of the year, and part time from spring till fall. I am a pretty out going person when it comes to meeting people and talking. You would not call me shy, but I do not like being the "center of attention". I can golf, a little, but only enjoy 9 holes and I am currently out of practice. I do like going to live sports games, and like going to the movies, festivals, canal days, concerts, most music events and such. I would like to be out and about on the weekends with someone, enjoying the events and seeing what the area has to offer. I would love to go camping - I look forward to owning my own little RV someday. My mom and aunt were very influential in my life, especially in regards to my faith. It is because of them that I reconnected to the church in my late 20s, and because of life that I know I need God on a daily basis. I am looking forward to meeting someone I can share my interests with.

77, Rochester, NYLIFE IS NOT MEASURED BY THE NUMBER OF BREATHS WE TAKE, BUT BY THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY. An upbeat , happy senior lady who tries to live each day to the fullest best describes me. I miss male companionship as my late husband and I so lovingly shared our lives..even the little things were a joy. Seeking an upbeat, happy, senior widower who is honest, loves music, movies, scenic drives and quiet talks among other things. Watching sunsets and low key evenings are just as important to me as dinners outthough I enjoy those also. i've had an interesting full life and am proud of all that was accomplished career-wise. If you feel you'd like to correspond and get to know each other, please write. I will write back. Oceanna 39
