I am ready to find my new best friend and experience what God has planned for us. I have been widowed for 5 years. I am the middle child and close to my family and talk often. I have one daughter, one grandson. I like to experience new things, people and places and see God's creations. I enjoy the fine arts and admire their God given talents. I thank God every day for my gift of faith and His many blessings.

Hi! My name is Nicole, but all my close friends call me Nikki. Faith and family are number one in my life. I have been very blessed to be the Godmother of six amazing kids. My first is my cousin who turned 20 last summer. I became his Godmother when I was 17, time sure flies! My second is my cousins daughter who just turned 8 this fall. And my last four are my heart and soul. They are my nieces (age 5, 4, 3, and 2). They are my life as you can tell from some of my pictures. A couple of things I can cross of my bucket list are: climbing Dun River Falls in Ochos Rios, Jamaica, shopping till I drop in New York City, participating in a Las Vegas show, line dancing in Tampa, seeing the Opera in Toronto, dipping my toes in both the Atlantic and Pacific, dancing and singing karaoke, and seeing my favorite music groups live in concert! Anyways, a little about me: I am mostly Italian with some Irish/Polish mixed in. I enjoy a wide range of activities from getting lost in a good book, lounging in the sun at Seneca Lake, shopping in Buffalo/Rochester, to getting in the car and just cranking up the stereo and listening to my favorite songs! Really though, I think fun comes from who you are with rather than what you are doing. Good company can make what would have been a mundane experience a great time. I look forward to seeing what the future will bring with the right person and am optimistic that I will find that someone special! Could that be you?

I believe in living in the present, remembering but not dwelling on the past, and looking forward to the future understanding that the only moment that we are sure of is the one we are living. I am generally a happy person and I love to entertain people with stories(many of them about my own foibles) and I like to make people laugh. Family and friends are very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them. I enjoy many types of people and have often had wonderful conversations with people in airports, hospital lobbies, and social gatherings. I sometimes write short stories about these encounters. I retired three times from teaching biology at a nearby community college, but I may return to do part time tutoring. I lost my husband to cancer seven years ago and although my life is full I miss the companionship of an ongoing relationship. I enjoy people who have a good sense of humor, who are happy with themselves and do not have a temper, who know how to work hard, but can also relax when appropriate. I love most kinds of music especially classical and Celtic, but not rap. I enjoy traveling-- from a few hours to long vacations. I have very much enjoyed several cross- country driving trips with some of my family, and numerous trips to Mexico and several to Great Britain. I love to read and enjoy nature and the outdoors, I have done volunteer work at my church-- recently I taught children in our faith formation program and for several years I coordinated our church dessert both at a country fair. I was very active in many activities when I was younger but two severely arthritic knees and other life circumstances caused a sedentary life style for a number of years and resulted in me becoming" twice the woman" I once was. I have two new knees and I am starting exercising and other life style changes to become more fit. I would enjoy the company of someone with similar interests, starting with coffee and conversation and seeing where things go from there.

I'm heading off to law school in the Fall. I like cooking, listening to music, reading, crocheting, and coffee. Running also interests me, and I've run a number of races in the past, including a half-marathon. Nature is pretty cool as well.

I enjoy helping people. One way I do this is by taking my therapy dog to nursing homes and by helping those who are emotionally suffering, who have lost, or in pain. I also send out emails daily as a way of inspiring people and will occasionally counsel people. Personally, I am idealistic, ambitious, hard-working, direct and enterprising, always ready for action and new adventures. Courageous and responsible, I can take on what life sends me. I rely on common sense, logic and clear thinking as a way of approaching things. Although practical, I will chose not to be at times because I can. I am an introvert, loyal, respectful, compassionate, loving. I work best in a harmonious atmosphere and a loving environment and will create this environment as much as possible. I am a generous, friendly, original and broad-minded humanitarian. I will spend a great deal of time and energy trying to understand people so that I can give them the unconditional love they deserve. I also have a love for wit and satire. The saints have been the biggest influence in my life since coming out of the dark night.
  • Melinda, 50 from Penfield, NY

Hi. I am an empty nester with 2 great college age kids who are nearby but busy. I work fulltime half of the year, and part time from spring till fall. I am a pretty out going person when it comes to meeting people and talking. You would not call me shy, but I do not like being the "center of attention". I can golf, a little, but only enjoy 9 holes and I am currently out of practice. I do like going to live sports games, and like going to the movies, festivals, canal days, concerts, most music events and such. I would like to be out and about on the weekends with someone, enjoying the events and seeing what the area has to offer. I would love to go camping - I look forward to owning my own little RV someday. My mom and aunt were very influential in my life, especially in regards to my faith. It is because of them that I reconnected to the church in my late 20s, and because of life that I know I need God on a daily basis. I am looking forward to meeting someone I can share my interests with.
  • Valerie, 27 from Auburn, NY

I am finishing up my year-long contract in Hong Kong and look forward to returning permanently to the United States. Living in Hong Kong gave me some great experiences: celebrating the Lunar New Year and seeing the fireworks, living on my own (and being the only foreigner in my building), and learning how to patiently and effectively deal with children are among them. Sometimes I have forgotten that I am a white foreigner among all the locals. But teaching and English aren't my real passions. My real passions are the sciences, especially earth sciences. Stargazing, studying fossils, tracking earthquakes, and most of all, tracking severe weather, are things I enjoy doing. Learning is a lifelong activity, and we live in a fascinating world. I am even more passionate about my faith. I try to self-reflect every day and think of ways I can improve overall as a human being; I often think of Matthew Kelly's advice to be the-best-version-of-myself. I am an introvert by nature, so sometimes that prevents me from being a better Christian. I heavily believe in self-improvement, and there are some things regarding my personality and character that I have made progress on over the years. Besides wanting to meet the right man to marry, I want to be the right woman to marry. I am steadily working on my finances and emotional health so I can be a good wife and mother that that special man in my life will feel blessed to have. And when I say finances, I mean my student loan debt. My credit score is good; I just don't want to bring in a lot of debt into a marriage. In order to make myself more marriage-worthy, I will probably go back to school for one or two years to learn a new skill that will get me a better job. After two trips overseas to teach English, I am quite tired of both living abroad and teaching just to make money, so I am emotionally and mentally ready to settle down. I look forward to a happy marriage from which children will come.

I love spending time with family and friends. My faith plays a huge part in my life. It always has. I love languages and studying other cultures. I am fluent in Spanish and English. I have traveled to different parts of the world including Mexico, England and studied abroad in Granada, Spain. I attended Catholic school my whole life until college, where I started at MCC and then St. John Fisher to obtain a BA in Spanish. I used to teach but discovered it wasn't what I wanted to do forever. The people with the most influence in my life is my parents and some very close friends. I also love history, and enjoy working the two part time jobs I have. I am a middle and high school Spanish tutor and a cafe coordinator at Wegmans Food Markets. I love what I do and I love working with others in a team centered environment. I love to shop, go to the movies, go bowling and going out to eat with friends.

Hi, I enjoy getting together with family and friends. The most influential person in my life is my mom. In my leisure you can find me reading, shopping watching TV, or cooking. I still work full-time so that leaves me with limited time for myself during the week. I am looking for someone that is looking for a relationship that is caring which involves giving as well as receiving kindness and concern.
