31, Newport, NYHi, I'm a registered nurse who loves my job but also loves my time spent at home with my family. I am one of eleven children and I am very family oriented. I tend to be quiet and shy till I get to know people. I have two Siberian huskies, Nakomi and Nanuk. I enjoy being outdoors. Most of my free time is spent in my garden. This year I've also started raising chickens. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. I'm a down to earth kind of person trying to meet the same.
62, Syracuse, NYOK, OK, maybe I'm finally ready to fill this part in.....I take my faith very seriously, was involved in charismania most of my life, even worked at Steubie U in the 80's...am very hard working, love laughter, read lots, pray lots, go see Our Lord at Adoration as much as I can, attend daily Mass, see that as ultra important if we're going to get our sorry butts back into Heaven in one piece, am involved directly with www.preciousbloodinternational.com as a life commitment, would seriously like to see the same in a man I'd fall in love with and want to marry....am finding I seriously need to be able to respect a guy because of his morals and values, and his ability to put himself out there for the good of others, someone I seriously feel tenderness towards because of who he is, someone that BECAUSE of who he is, I feel safe with, not that I've ever needed to feel protected, I'm fairly self sufficient after all these years, though it sure would feel great to get rid of all those "man" things I've had to do myself ....ugh ! especially the car care part !!! lol....you guys are usually SO much better at that stuff.....I would LOVE it if you weren't a hoarder, loved to cook, kept yourself clean inside and out, were neat and attractive, love to laugh, and not take yourself too seriously...I need you to be conservative in your views in pretty much all areas of life.....especially politically the way this country is going....it would be great if you could keep up with me conversationally....lol....I only mean that you're open and LIKE to talk....it would be awesome if everyone you meet is never a stranger. I'm friendly and outgoing, take care of stray cats and people....love birds, am considering getting a dog to go along with my newly purchased home that I'll be 89 when I pay it off, if I live that long....lol...maybe a rottweiller...lol....I live in a nice normal middle class neighborhood, but am comfortable socially in most other venues. I've volunteered at food kitchens, done my time taking care of the poor, still do on a one to one basis, all ages, especially the elderly. Love my job, first time in my life. I hang with the service guys at our local G&E co....as their helper, going to all kinds of service calls, midnite to 8, wish I'd done it years ago, BEFORE age started catching up with me...lol...I'm ScotchIrishGermanHungarian with a smidge of Romanian gypsy. what are you ? FYI, please don't have anger issues, it's not gonna work for me.
68, Liverpool, NYLove my Catholic Faith, my family, and my social passion is: SU College Basketball at the Carrier Dome. The people who influenced my life are my parents, my husband now in heaven who was a wonderful husband to me, the Sisters of St. Joseph that taught me K thru 12, my mentor Sister-in-Law Doreen and my BFF Theresa, and of course the Blessed Mother. Enjoy sports very much, and working at the Rectory Office as Secretary when needed.
69, Camillus, NYI have often found that God has moved me into a career, location, or situation gravely different then where I thought I would possibly be. At this age I am still thirsting for new knowledge, but also grateful that I have the facilities to work at what I was dedicated to, my work in art. I want companionship in sharing multiple subjects in serious thinking, and a most excellent training in hospitality. I do not bend my moral code. At a young age I knew the difference between a Woman and a Lady. This encouraged me to educate myself in finer ways. I am interested in finding a male friend to share enjoyable conversations, cultural outings, fine dining, and quiet evenings with. Love to entertain, and I love to cook. I am always ready to try something new. I am within the 2% intelligence level, and my curiosity keeps me moving. Would like an atmosphere where I might be slightly challenged.
66, Clinton, NYI am passionate about my faith and my family. I look forward to going to daily Mass; to biking, kayaking, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing and ice skating; to having my grandchildren over to my house for dinner and a sleepover and to get together with my daughters who live locally and occasional dinners with them and their families, singing with my chorale group.
34, Warners, NYHi, I am currently a teacher at a traditional catholic school in Syracuse, New York. I am very lucky because I happen to love teaching, and I am also pursuing a Masters Degree in Education which has kept me quite busy! I am extremely blessed to have a wonderful family, which I am very close to even though I live far from them, and great friends, all who enrich my life. There are so many things I enjoy doing, but I think one of my favorite pastimes is cooking food for my friends, and enjoying their company and great conversation. I also really like dancing, singing, and art ( which I try to dabble in every once in a while).
54, Binghamton, NYI am interested in my children, my work, and my pets. My children are grown and I only see them on holidays. I look forward to a life-long relationship with someone who is my best friend. Many of my teachers were influential in my adult formation. I also have an older sister who has been my mentor and supporter throughout my life. I am fairly athletic and enjoy working out at the gym, playing racquetball, hiking, or just walking. I like to travel and would like to make short day or weekend trips to see sites. My traveling has also included an Alaskan cruise, Montana, Florida, some southern states. I also enjoy dining out.
46, Binghamton, NYI love writing and find myself closest to God in music. All music has merit in my eyes and my ears, because I feel it is the voice of the soul. I look forward to each new day -- every day is a gift from God. I find myself most influenced by history and historians, but find some inspiration in great literature as well. I love older movies, especially Katherine Hepburn films -- but I'm not that picky. In upstate NY, during the warmer months l love being out doors, and I am a great racing fan (I cut my driving chops on our quarter-mile dirt tracks).
63, Rome, NYHi. I am an high school science teacher at a small city school district. Interested in all things science. I have 9 brothers and sisters and am in the middle of my family. "Middle child syndrome" whatever that is, I must have it! I swim a lot and love water. I also like to work out, bike, kayak, and take walks. I try to garden, but I'm not the best. I am 1/2 Italian, 1/2 Irish so I am a pretty good cook and like an occasional Guiness/beer. I like to read and go to the movies. I usually go to the movies with my best friend from when I was 2 years old. Really like rock and roll and just saw Toto at the state fair last week. What a blast! Getting near retirement, but not ready to take the plunge yet. Write and tell me about yourself.
