64, South Ozone Park, NYI am a single gal still looking for the one I would feel most comfortable with. Honesty and a good sense of humor are very important. Have been in love before, but it did not work out as planned. I enjoy many things, but being with family and friends is at the top of the list. You lose your identity without them. I have traveled to some fine places in the past, but none recently. I am trying to enjoy a slightly slower pace and take the time to enjoy the little things in life. I am sometimes recognized by my laugh and can have a slightly wicked sense of humor. Still like to learn new things and meet new people. I am currently a member of our church fundraising committee and parish council.
67, New Hyde Park, NYI am a very friendly and kind person who is trustworthy, dependable and honest. I am very young at heart . . I definitely do not look my age, act it, feel it or think about it either. I have a good sense of humor and I am a good listener. I love people and have a large circle of friends, some since grammar school. One of my friends once described me as "a woman of many talents, the best of which is the way I can connect with people." My hobbies and interests are in art, music and much, much more. I paint in watercolor and sing in a church group. I love deep and inspirational conversation with intelligent people, cooking a nice dinner or going to a good restaurant, listening to a nice music concert, going to an outdoor craft fair, art show or gallery, sightseeing in a quaint little village, watching a good movie, attending an inspirational lecture and playing fetch with my dog. I'd love to meet a nice, down to earth kind of guy who has a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, varied interests, a good set of values, a kind and caring personality and wants to share life, good times, the activities he enjoys and the many blessings received, with a good and loyal person that has a big, kind and generous heart.
42, Astoria, NYI am a 38 year old catholic woman living in Astoria, NY.I was born and raised catholic and my faith is an important part of my life. Looking to meet a like minded mate for a serious long term relationship. I have heard good things about this site.
58, Utica, NYHello there! It's officially Spring on the calendar but no one told the weather man up here. Three feet of the white stuff (really?) and now we are thawing out again. Rumors are that Spring may try again. So those robins may be back and I am really looking forward to daffodils and snowdrops. That yellow orb thing in the sky should come out any day.... :) (Send pictures) Trying to explain what I am passionate about? Does chocolate count? Only kidding! So many things. I get excited about great art, babies make me smile, a good book that I can't put down. A fabulous burger, and ok. yes, good chocolate. A sentimental commercial on TV that I always cry when I see it I also get deep satisfaction about my faith. Its not something I may go on and on about but its the core of my existence and something I take seriously and rely on a lot. The most influential people in my life were my parents. Both gone now but they gave me a a solid background of hard-work, education and faith. They worked hard to get where they were and they had dreams and expectations for all of us kids. I am so appreciative of the love and support that I received from them growing up. I live in a small urban city in Central NY. Kind of small, kind of rural-ish. Kind of laid back but has all of the urban issues of a big city. Especially no Starbucks!!! (can you imagine -the horror! lol ) I have a great porch with huge trees, with some interesting wild life (skunks, raccoons, groundhogs, rabbits, a zillion squirrels and the birds are amazing). It really nice to come home, open windows and hear birds serenading you outside your window, see rabbits running across lawns as you walk to work. That idyllic scene is always broken by the cars speeding down my street like there was no tomorrow! I try to be a positive, faith-filled person. I lean on GOD for everything. I try to be caring, nurturing, and there for my family, friends and others. I am quiet with my faith meaning I dont live it loudly or publicly. I volunteer for several charities that have special meaning to me (Relay for Life (Cancer) and Hospice as well as help with my parish's activities as needed. Can I make you laugh? I don't know but it would be fun to try. Will you make me laugh -- I will have to find out.. (I am curious now ) I can go on about hobbies, my cooking abilities (should I mention a terrific chocolate brownie?. LOL Hope I have tempted to you find out more...
33, Elmhurst, NYI am a hard working single mother of an 11 years old boy. I love to dance, laugh and have fun. I enjoys outdoors activities. I am honestly romantic.. The reason I'm here is if I'm lucky to find someone. To be honest I'm scared that I never will. I know it's easy to hookup with someone at a club but that is not what I'm looking for. Besides I don't really go clubbing.
50, Rochester, NYI am independent; tend to be a tomboy, but just the same I like when a man opens a door for me or shoots me a wink that makes me blush. I'm divorced, and have been single for awhile now. Looking for a friend/partner to share life with. I'm searching for a long-term committed relationship. I'm interested in dating first. I'm not on here for casual dating. I don't smoke and I don't do drugs. I like a couple glasses of wine when out, or for a special dinner for two. I don't like sitting around in bars all evening, hence being here on match. I like to go out to the movies, check out new restaurants, go to festivals and the like. I'm just as happy staying home and watching the telly with bowl of popcorn too. I love going for walks, and being out in nature. I'm adventurous, and love to travel every chance I get. I've had great experiences hiking in the White Mountains, the Smoky Mountains, the Blue Ridge and as far north as Algonquin Provincial Park. I've recently moved back to NYS from NC. Rochester is my home town. I am an animal lover. I grew up in a family lifestyle where animals were a big part of life - we had menagerie from guinea pigs, cats and dogs to horses when I was young. I even had a pet-sitting business when I was in college for 5 years, and was featured in a local newspaper. I would like to find a partner who is equally fond of animals. I only have one dog now because of my busy lifestyle. Financially self-sufficient, I really want a partner that can say the same. A priority for me in a relationship is being with a positive person. I value my relationships over material wealth. My life is not about buying the latest and greatest, but more about experiences and leading a full life.
62, New York, NYI am passionate about animals, fruitful connections, faith, being a contribution to society and family. My family, father, mother, brother and family members have been the most influential in my life. Also life experiences such as raising children, job experiences and strong friendships. I enjoy a range of activities from watching a good movie at home or in the theatre, to going on a long Meetup walk, to dinner in a restaurant or going to a museum, plus... - all the more fun with company.
58, Cortlandt Manor, NYI love the beach, ocean, bonfires, sand, lobster, walks, romantic dinners and quality time together. I look forward to meeting someone who is deserving of my love as I have much to give. I have no children but love big families. I need to make myself whole again and feel that by doing that I must open my heart again to love and continue on to my next journey. This journey must include a man who is trustworthy, loving, romantic, down to earth and interested in building a quality relationship that includes respect. I'm someone who says it like it is and very candid. I love to have fun....I am a planner but also can be spontaneous.
72, New York, NYI am a person interested in others. I enjoy meeting new people, and interacting with them. I find that book clubs help in this interaction. I love to travel and am planning a September walking tour of Bavaria and Austria. To get ready for this trip, I walk on average six to eight miles per day. Living in Manhattan makes it quite easy to accomplish. I wear a fitbit so I can keep track of my distance. The theater is a passion of mine. I try to see a play or attend Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center on average two to three times per week. I enjoy family and usually visit with my children in Virginia at least once a month. I also enjoy cooking, but doing it for one person doesn't help. I would like to share this passion with another interesting individual.
56, North Syracuse, NYHi! I am a woman in my mid 50's, looking for my "Partner in Crime," so to speak. I am looking for my best friend and someone to be my partner in life. My family and friends mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. I am also very passionate about animals, especilly dogs and volunteer at a local rescue. I enjoy being outside, especially in the summer and fall. I like taking pictures of nature and the beautiful scenery in the area, especially waterfalls! I also enjoy sports and am a HUGE Vikings fan and also an SU fan! I would love to go to a football or basketball game at the Dome with you! Baking and cake decorating are also a passion of mine! I love decorating cakes and cupcakes and I can make a pretty awesome cheesecake! I also enjoy the stars on a nice night and am looking to get a fire pit this year, but I need someone to enjoy it with! Could that be you?! If any of these things intrigue you, or you'd like to know more, feel free to message me! Thanks or taking the time to read about me!
24, Fayetteville, NYOutside of working and finishing my masters, ultimate frisbee is my go to. I love finding new ways to keep active and will run my third half marathon later this year. My faith means a lot to me and I'm looking for someone who shares that same enthusiasm. I love to travel and want to set foot on all 7 continents. Having someone to explore the world with would make life a whole lot better. Right now, my dog and I spend a lot of quality time together.
71, Garden City, NYI am looking forward to meeting a special man of faith who shares my similar interests. He is a man of principle, who is genuine, honest, respectful, and has a good sense of humor. I am 100% italian, fun loving, warm, compassionate, traditional in my values, and have a strong faith in God. I am an independent woman but love to be treated like a lady. Balance in life is very important to me, God first, hard work, time for having fun and enjoying the gift of if each day is key. Others have told me that I am easy to talk to and very personable. I love to share a good meal with friends, enjoy quality movies, theatre, music, being near the water and lately really looking forward to traveling more, especially to Italy. I am truly dedicated to the ones I love and find myself ready to meet that person whom I can share life with. Only God knows what the future will bring, but I believe getting older with a special someone will bring us both much joy and happiness. It takes three!!!
