45, Woodhaven, NYI am an outgoing female who is dedicated to her Catholic faith. I am a first grade teacher and I greatly enjoy working with children. I have a good work ethic and I strive everyday to be the best person I can with the help of God. I use the footsteps of Jesus Christ as my guide. The young children I work with help me to enjoy life and to realize that life is too short to worry about the little things. I enjoy a wide variety of activities and I am active in my parish. Some parish activities I am involved in are being an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, and I teach faith formation as a catechetical volunteer on Sundays. I also do some volunteer work with the Sisters of Life- a pro-life mission to help unwed mothers. As mentioned above I am a very sociable and outgoing person who has a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh. I am an excellent listener and I enjoy helping those who are less fortunate. I enjoy engaging in a wide variety of activities and I try to have a good time no matter what I am involved in. Lastly, I try to enjoy each day and live life to the absolute fullest because life is truly a gift from God.
36, Brooklyn, NYI am passionate about life, my family, friends, and career. My mother and grandmother were the most influential people in my life. Their love and strength provided amazing examples of the type of woman I wanted to be. As I grow older and I spend time with my father, I appreciate the quiet strength that he possesses. I enjoy watching movies and going out to dinner on my free time.
22, New York, NYMedicine is life. Aspiring oncologist. Athletic. Sport loving. Intelligent. Trustworthy. Genuine. Ambitious Outgoing people-person. Hard-shelled headstrong outside. Soft mushy core . ;) Wanderer. Adventurer. Cool stuff finder.
55, Liverpool, NYHello! I am an outgoing and optimistic woman with a strong love for our faith. I've been told that I have a "young at heart" personality by my friends, and I like to surround myself with people who are similar. I was a flight attendant for 20 years and I now work for a large group of doctors, so helping people has always been important to me. Though I visited many beautiful cities in my travels, I'm at my best when I'm out in nature, whether that's in the woods, the mountains, or near falls or a stream. This is where my idea of a dream home would be located. I find an incredible amount of peace in that type of environment. Candlelight, fresh flowers, beautiful sunsets, and hearing the rain fall outside of my window... Though I enjoy being in social situations, my "alone time" and times of solitude are equally important to me. I love to hike, powerwalk, and other types of exercise, as staying healthy has always been a priority of mine. I am an avid reader, enjoy cooking and sharing meals with family or friends, and watching Syracuse University sports, to name just a few interests. I'm always open to trying new things, as long as they're not life threatening.:) I'm a greeter at my parish, helped start our lending library, and assist at our food pantry. I have to say that the people that shop at the pantry have given me more than I could ever give to them. They have taught me what it truly means to be grateful and how to have a joyful humility. I would love to, at some time in the near future, get more involved with our youth group, as they are the future of our church, and possibly the RCIA program. I think it's wonderful when someone new wants to enter the church.
27, Auburn, NYI am finishing up my year-long contract in Hong Kong and look forward to returning permanently to the United States. Living in Hong Kong gave me some great experiences: celebrating the Lunar New Year and seeing the fireworks, living on my own (and being the only foreigner in my building), and learning how to patiently and effectively deal with children are among them. Sometimes I have forgotten that I am a white foreigner among all the locals. But teaching and English aren't my real passions. My real passions are the sciences, especially earth sciences. Stargazing, studying fossils, tracking earthquakes, and most of all, tracking severe weather, are things I enjoy doing. Learning is a lifelong activity, and we live in a fascinating world. I am even more passionate about my faith. I try to self-reflect every day and think of ways I can improve overall as a human being; I often think of Matthew Kelly's advice to be the-best-version-of-myself. I am an introvert by nature, so sometimes that prevents me from being a better Christian. I heavily believe in self-improvement, and there are some things regarding my personality and character that I have made progress on over the years. Besides wanting to meet the right man to marry, I want to be the right woman to marry. I am steadily working on my finances and emotional health so I can be a good wife and mother that that special man in my life will feel blessed to have. And when I say finances, I mean my student loan debt. My credit score is good; I just don't want to bring in a lot of debt into a marriage. In order to make myself more marriage-worthy, I will probably go back to school for one or two years to learn a new skill that will get me a better job. After two trips overseas to teach English, I am quite tired of both living abroad and teaching just to make money, so I am emotionally and mentally ready to settle down. I look forward to a happy marriage from which children will come.
64, Syracuse, NYI think life should be fun and full of laughter and a growing experience. I love the simple things in life and enjoy having dinner out making dinner going for long walks gardening
68, Putnam Station, NYWell, I had finished introducing myself, had to go to another site and when I returned here all that I had written were gone. So now an abbreviated version: I was actually writing this from my booth at a craft fair, so it's safe to assume that I'm "crafty". I love horses and horse back riding and have toyed with the idea of leasing a horse (yes, you really can lease a horse-lol). I enjoy murder mystery novels such as written by Patterson and Agatha Christie. My all time favorite DVD is Murder on the Orient Express (Christie). I also tutor for the Literacy Volunteers and I am in 2 choirs - one in my church. I enjoy traveling. Now that I am retired I have plenty of leisure time, but travel is restricted by a limited budget (bummer). I love the beauty and serenity of the Adirondacks or what we call "the north country". The disadvantage is that everything such as stores are so far away. For example, for me to get a quart of milk, it's a 20 mile round trip!
42, New York, NYI am in search of my other half whom I can share the passion of cooking, traveling, wether it be local road trips or cross country, museums or landmarks, or just enjoying a hike together and having lunch along a trail. I enjoy live music, arts, museums and cultural activities. As long as we are in each other's company enjoying our quality time together it really is about us and getting to know each other. I am a humble, down to earth and very kind hearted woman. My friends describe me as a very dependable and loyal friend. I volunteer at my parish as a Catechist on Saturday mornings to very sweet and amazing second graders. I belong to a prayer group with the Charismatic revival on a weekly basis. I love my parish community and the sense of family I receive from them.

On a personal side, I love deep conversation and am kind if old fashioned(slightly) in my thinking. I am a girlie girl. I am not into sports. I love animals, humor, movies, travel, seeing historical mansions, throwing small parties, getting family and friends together. I have 2 small dogs and a bunny. I love and miss being in a relationship. I like someone, need someone who is mature and communicative and likes to talk. I am not into clubs or bars, although I like a nice glass of wine here and there and love to dance. Smoking drunks and having drinkers are not for me. If you are interested in me I ask that you please be ready for conversation I'm not just looking for someone to text with. I pray I can meet a great man who is GOD fearing and GOD loving.
