Hi, I'm Ginny. God is good. Life is interesting. I'm content. But I am looking around to see if God has a man in mind for me to love. I grew up in a family of 8 kids with an Irish/Catholic mother and a Scots/Protestant father. Mom taught me to be gracious, loving, patient and generous. She taught me how to change cloth diapers, and never to hold a baby away from myself even when he's spitting up. She taught me to cook by giving me free rein in the kitchen. It was from Mom that I learned home nursing because, "Dying is hard enough, no one should have to do it alone." In this family, we always take care of our own. She also encouraged me to drive a little faster than the speed limit on country back roads when we were running late. My Dad taught me to be fearless but not foolish. He convinced me that whatever I have is enough, I just have to be smart about spending it. He taught me to drive safely, "Slow down! I don't want to pay for any tickets." He's the most honest man I know; I try to match his integrity. Dad raised me to believe that I can do whatever needs doing, even if it means using a pair of pliers to pull a bent broken needle out of my screaming child's foot... and then, once the crisis is over, to find a private spot to throw up or faint. There are lots of people in my life; parents, siblings, children and even grandchildren. I've raised my own 5 children and now have the privilege of helping my father. Mom passed peacefully at home. She was anointed on Monday, stepped into eternity on Thursday. I had just prayed over her; Dad was holding her hand. Did I mention God is good? I was divorced after 25 years of marriage, but God has been gracious every step of the way. The declaration of nullity granted more than 10 years ago means I am free to marry in the Church. I don't really know if God has another husband in His plans for my future, but I do know it would take an exceptional man for me to give up the autonomy I've found. He'd need a healthy sense of humor to cope with me. Integrity and a strong faith in God are absolutely necessary. Bonus points for fishing skills, intelligence and dog-friendliness. So, who are you?

I'm not really sure what to write. I can say I love life and am very happy. That said, I would like to share my life with someone. I am positive and believe that everything happens for a reason...and we must find the good in every situation. Perhaps you are the good?

I like movies, trying new foods, and going on little adventures. Road trips are a constant in my life from visiting family, friends, or amusement parks, so I need a good car companion who likes long drives. Music and singing is how I like to relax so I play a bit of ukulele, guitar, and piano occasionally. As I'm writing this, I'm a bit new to the area so I'm still figuring out how to get involved in my new parish and finding opportunities to volunteer, meet people, and understand my calling here. Contact me if you want to go on an adventure sometime.

LIFE IS NOT MEASURED BY THE NUMBER OF BREATHS WE TAKE, BUT BY THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY. An upbeat , happy senior lady who tries to live each day to the fullest best describes me. I miss male companionship as my late husband and I so lovingly shared our lives..even the little things were a joy. Seeking an upbeat, happy, senior widower who is honest, loves music, movies, scenic drives and quiet talks among other things. Watching sunsets and low key evenings are just as important to me as dinners outthough I enjoy those also. i've had an interesting full life and am proud of all that was accomplished career-wise. If you feel you'd like to correspond and get to know each other, please write. I will write back. Oceanna 39

I'm a Catholic Christian and I am incredibly thankful for my faith (through the highs and lows of life, God has always been constant), my family and friends who pour their love and laughter into my life, and for my career that allows me to support myself and contribute to the physical health of others.

My greatest passion is loving and serving God, and helping others to know the beauty of our Catholic faith. I most look forward to heaven, and living this life in God's will so as to arrive there someday, bringing as many people around me as possible :-) Most influential: I spent 2 years in a convent, and it was amazing to live a life of prayer and service to God. This experience helped me to become a better layperson and develop a strong prayer life. Leisure: Prayer, laughter, silence, singing for fun, walking, volunteering, helping people in need, talking- these are all great activities in my book! I enjoy quiet nights at home, watching uplifting movies, or making crafts. Family-oriented (I love children, especially those close to me), but I also enjoy the occasional night out dancing (in good taste). I'm generally pleased with the simple things in life. I am an introvert who is sometimes mistaken for an extrovert. My deepest desire is to follow God's will wherever that leads.

Hi, I enjoy getting together with family and friends. The most influential person in my life is my mom. In my leisure you can find me reading, shopping watching TV, or cooking. I still work full-time so that leaves me with limited time for myself during the week. I am looking for someone that is looking for a relationship that is caring which involves giving as well as receiving kindness and concern.
