  • Mary, 40 from New York, NY
    40, New York, NY
It is very hard to describe who I am and all that I am looking for in someone in a paragraph but I can at least give an introduction. My Catholic faith is one of the most important things to me in my life. My field of work is Catholic Ministry. Some of my interests are travel, exploring new places, animals, spending time with friends & family, New York City, coffee, having long conversations about faith & life, art, reading and laughing. I am looking for someone that is strong in his Catholic faith but is also a bit of a free spirit ( not in his moral beliefs but in who he is as a person & his outlook on life ). I am looking for a good man with a good heart. Someone who is thoughtful & caring towards others, has values and morals and a good sense of humor. I am looking for someone with whom I can grow with both as a person and in my relationship with God. I am looking for my life partner and best friend.
  • Merilee, 35 from Brooklyn, NY
    35, Brooklyn, NY
I am a Michigan girl at heart who has found herself in Brooklyn for a decade now. I am very passionate about my work as an educator providing educational access to all children. I also take my roles as sister, aunt, and daughter very seriously. Growing up my parents required that my brothers and I learn how to do everything--this includes both Saturday chores and recreational activities. My parents instilled in me determination and a strong work either. "I can't" and "I won't" were never part of the vocabulary. Being the only girl in a family with three brothers definitely toughened me up. My experience in the Peace Corps following college has been the most influential experience in my life. It is an understatement to say that living in Malawi deepened my perspective on life, work, myself, and my relationships. In my leisure time I like to combine active outdoor time with the people I love the most. When I am here in Brooklyn I like to go to the gym and go running in Prospect Park. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends. In the summer I am like a fish to the water. I grew up on freshwater and cannot get enough of the beach. On vacations I usually find myself out of New York. My family is scattered across the U.S. so I am either visiting them or on a travel adventure. I enjoy hiking and skiing (downhill and cross country).

  • Caitlin, 33 from Buffalo, NY
    33, Buffalo, NY
In my life, I have become passionate about helping others. I work as a nurse and love helping my patients feel comforted, cared for and helping them to get back on their feet. I feel that this is what God has called me to do in life. I am so blessed in my life to have wonderful parents, that have taught me what it takes to make a successful life. Being married for 42 years, they continually show me that keeping God at the center of your relationship is the key to keeping your marriage strong. They have always taught me that God will always be there for you and to turn to him in happy and tough times. I enjoy many different activities that include music, theater, concerts, and sporting events to name a few. I'm really open to trying new things. I love to sing and currently sing at wedding ceremonies and funerals with my twin sister. Music has been a major part of my life from very early on and it will always be a major part of my life.

  • Autilia, 52 from Calverton, NY
    52, Calverton, NY
I seek companionship with someone who is quick witted and can speak to just about anything. When communicating using the written word- spelling and punctuation are paramount. There is room for the occasional typo... but if only on occasion. But seriously- I love sarcastic humor that isn't caustic, I love to laugh and love to get outdoors and mingle with people and nature.
