35, Brooklyn, NYI am a Michigan girl at heart who has found herself in Brooklyn for a decade now. I am very passionate about my work as an educator providing educational access to all children. I also take my roles as sister, aunt, and daughter very seriously. Growing up my parents required that my brothers and I learn how to do everything--this includes both Saturday chores and recreational activities. My parents instilled in me determination and a strong work either. "I can't" and "I won't" were never part of the vocabulary. Being the only girl in a family with three brothers definitely toughened me up. My experience in the Peace Corps following college has been the most influential experience in my life. It is an understatement to say that living in Malawi deepened my perspective on life, work, myself, and my relationships. In my leisure time I like to combine active outdoor time with the people I love the most. When I am here in Brooklyn I like to go to the gym and go running in Prospect Park. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends. In the summer I am like a fish to the water. I grew up on freshwater and cannot get enough of the beach. On vacations I usually find myself out of New York. My family is scattered across the U.S. so I am either visiting them or on a travel adventure. I enjoy hiking and skiing (downhill and cross country).
29, Middle Village, NYI'm a 29 and a former live-in campus minister, and student affairs professional. I am now the Director of Youth and Young Adult Programs at a parish full time and part time I work with a children's theater company in the city. I hope to get my PhD in Educational Theater and some day be a full time professor. My family and friends are what is most important to me, but I am very passionate about my work and my commitment to life long learning. I love both a night out, or snuggled up with a good book or movie. I am very mature, but enjoy simple child-like fun from time to time.
29, New York, NYHello!!! I'm a nice, funny, honest person (I rather you better know me)...I like people who always talk to me with the truth, it is the most important for me. My faith in God is very strong and each day I can wake up, stand up and carry on my life just for him. I also consider that I have strong values, and I would like that person who comes to my life to have God as the "core of his life", so he will truly love me.
25, Buffalo, NYHello! I'm a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, and am currently a High School Theology Teacher. I'm can be quiet and shy at first, but I warm up fast. I'm love to go on adventures of any sort, but am also pretty laid-back and easy going, so am also good with spending a night in. Some of my hobbies include baking, camping, hiking, traveling across the country, arts & crafts, & board games. I can also be somewhat of a nerd, since I like things like Marvel, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Sherlock, and the like. If you think you might want to get to know me, send me a message!

27, Auburn, NYI am finishing up my year-long contract in Hong Kong and look forward to returning permanently to the United States. Living in Hong Kong gave me some great experiences: celebrating the Lunar New Year and seeing the fireworks, living on my own (and being the only foreigner in my building), and learning how to patiently and effectively deal with children are among them. Sometimes I have forgotten that I am a white foreigner among all the locals. But teaching and English aren't my real passions. My real passions are the sciences, especially earth sciences. Stargazing, studying fossils, tracking earthquakes, and most of all, tracking severe weather, are things I enjoy doing. Learning is a lifelong activity, and we live in a fascinating world. I am even more passionate about my faith. I try to self-reflect every day and think of ways I can improve overall as a human being; I often think of Matthew Kelly's advice to be the-best-version-of-myself. I am an introvert by nature, so sometimes that prevents me from being a better Christian. I heavily believe in self-improvement, and there are some things regarding my personality and character that I have made progress on over the years. Besides wanting to meet the right man to marry, I want to be the right woman to marry. I am steadily working on my finances and emotional health so I can be a good wife and mother that that special man in my life will feel blessed to have. And when I say finances, I mean my student loan debt. My credit score is good; I just don't want to bring in a lot of debt into a marriage. In order to make myself more marriage-worthy, I will probably go back to school for one or two years to learn a new skill that will get me a better job. After two trips overseas to teach English, I am quite tired of both living abroad and teaching just to make money, so I am emotionally and mentally ready to settle down. I look forward to a happy marriage from which children will come.
