My walk with the Lord has been long and varied; I am so thankful for His faithfulness! I know it is a privilege to have the gift of faith and strive to be just the right amount of light and salt. I can remember having a sense of Him from an early age, relating especially to Mary and to her "yes" over the years in different ways - would I...could I? Growing up in the South, most of my Christian fellowship has been with our non-Catholic brethren, attending their Bible studies and prayer groups, so it has been a joy over the past few years to find strong fellowship within the Catholic Church through the Cursillo movement. Friends and family have said I am positive, upbeat, outgoing, affectionate, compassionate, encouraging and a good listener. I am a content and thankful person - I live life with joy! :o) My family is very important to me - I love spending time with my nieces and nephew; they rejuvenate me, bringing me back into balance before the new work week begins - we make up silly songs and can make anything fun! Please know I am very open to children, and trust the Lord in His perfect Will as to how all of that will work out. Among the most sacred roles one can play in this life is to be entrusted with the life of another - I have a heart for the elderly, and enjoy gardening and hiking. I will never forget a camping trip I took out west through which I experienced many of our National Parks firsthand - oh the beauty of His creation! The Delicate Arch was my favorite... I devour National Geographic magazine for this reason...I know some of the views they espouse are sadly biased.

Hi! I'm Amanda and I'm originally from Colorado, though now living in Charlotte, NC. I love the Catholic faith and I'm so grateful to be a part of the Body of Christ. A few of the things I enjoy most are spending time with loved ones, drinking coffee, cooking, laughter, jokes (good and bad!), animals, dancing (of varying skill level), exploring new places, and reading. I also love to travel, get to know people from other cultures, and learn new languages. I pray that God may accompany you on your search!

I moved to Charlotte from Dallas, Texas to be closer to family. I'm still learning my way around and I would love to find someone that can show me what this beautiful city has to offer....restaurants,movies,sporting events etc. I'm looking for a man with a great sense of humor and is easy to talk with. I'm not into games or dishonesty and prefer to be the only person you are dating :-) . Thanks for reading my profile!

I love traveling, games, and food. Some people have accused me of being overly competitive, but I don't think that's possible. I love a good card game, soccer game, or really any game or sport. As for food and traveling, I think the two go hand-in-hand. So far, my favorite trip was Ireland. And my favorite food is actually pizza. It's amazing anyway you try it. Speaking of pizza it goes great with beer. I hate to admit it, but if I'm being honest, I'm actually a beer snob. I was lucky to attend a Catholic college and still enjoy many of the same friendships I made there. The people I met, the friends I made, and the things I learned changed me for the better. I always had the desire to live my faith and while I went to Catholic school my entire life, I was lacking an essential element in my faith. College was a turning point for me (and I mean that in a good way!). I learned that when you truly give people a deep understanding of what they believe and when you meet people who are passionate about their faith you can open a whole new meaning of life for them- at least that is what college and the people I met there did for me. I am now involved in my parish as a catechist and I enjoy passing on whatever I can (and then meeting my friends for coffee after mass).

*My name is Elizabeth, .* I have two children under two. My ex husband is gay. I own two businesses, which I devote most of my time to. In my free time I dance with my toddler, drink wine, go to board game/trivia nights at local breweries, and occasionally do karaoke at bars if I'm feeling really ballsy. I also exclusively grocery shop at midnight or later so I can ride my shopping cart through the aisles.
