I have been divorced for several years, mostly dedicated to raise my daughter (now a professional) and career. Now it is time for me!!!! I love NC and I am really looking forward to meet a Catholic gent that believes that Jesus is the first person in his life and in a couples life. A man that feels young, loves to travel, the ocean, dining out. I look for a partner that enjoys the good things that The Lord gives us every day! And yes.. the pics are quite recent; no old or photo-shop ones! LOL!

I enjoy getting together with my friends, who mean a lot to me, yet do not mind spending time at home. Everything in moderation..... I love to laugh, dance, be out and about. I look forward to one major trip a year. Love my friends!

I look forward to walks on the beach, time with friends/family, and spending time with my dog, Jenni, and my cat Chloe. Having my children and be able to be a stay-at-home Mom changed my view of life forever. I loved being home and taking care of my husband and children. I enjoyed be an active volunteer at school, girl/cub scouts, swim team and church. With my children all in their 20's now, it's back to full time employment as a Religious Education Coordinator. Now I take care of the sacramental and educational needs of an entire parish. Challenging, but very fulfilling. Just when I think nothing can surprise me, God lets me know I still have lots to learn. I love spending time at the beach, reading, watching good movies and hiking. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but need quiet time to regenerate. I lost my husband of 24 years in February 2013. It's been three years of new adventures in figuring out how to live as one after many years of being part of a whole. So I find myself at a place I never expected to be. Single in my 50's. How does one begin to venture out into the dating world? Times have changed since the last time I was searching for someone to share my life. Joining Catholic Match seems like a place to start, since my faith is very important to me. Not sure what God has in mind for the next chapter of my life, but I am trying to be quiet enough to listen to his whisper.

I am passionate about life, people and the world. I know - that is a broad spectrum of interest :-) But whatever leads me to become the best version of myself and helps others to become the best versions of themselves - sign me in. What helps me grow? Reading, learning, traveling, singing, giving and serving, laughing, nature (camping, hiking, swimming). I wish I would know how it feels to be bored :-)

Hi! Glad you popped in to read my profile. This is the first time I am trying an on-line site, so here I go: A little bit about me - I enjoy taking walks, driving to small towns and experiencing their "claim to fame", I'm a foodie and love to try new things. I'm a dog lover & would like to meet someone who is as well. My parents were the most influential people when growing up, they were married over 50 years and had great respect for each other. I would enjoy finding someone who wants to explore the area and has a love for water! I enjoy swimming, boating watching professional golf and tennis and am a NFL Packer fan. I like NHL, a former CBJ fan and now the Hurricanes.

The most important part of my life is my relationship with God. For me, He is the focal point of every single day. I am proud to be a convert into the Catholic Church. RCIA greatly impacted my life in the most positive of ways. I'm a full time Dental Hygiene Student, and I'm very much looking forward to completing this program and earning my license to practice in May of 2017. I served in the Marine Corps for about 5 and half years working on various aircraft, and although I enjoyed every aspect of it, I wanted to be directly serving my community. My family is sprinkled throughout the country, which means I get to explore new places often! I am not afraid of travel or leaving the boundaries of my comfort zone. Some random facts: I have happy, furry, grown dogs who bring me so much joy. I love to work out and take good care of my body. Overall, I generally eat healthy, but of course enjoy the good stuff from time to time. I very much understand sacrifice and balance in life. My military experience has aided in the deep value I place on time spent with others. I'm a big fan of shooting at the range. Throw a 1911 in my hand, and this big smile comes out of no where. I am definitely DEEPLY a girly girl... BUT!... I love getting my hands dirty by going camping, hiking, home improvement projects, sports, and the occasional super-soaker/nurf-gun battle ;)

I like viewing life as an adventure, and learning something new everyday. I like the way God paints his marvelous pictures, of his creation, in my mind. I look forward to getting out of bed and being, "vertical", and greeting the day, as it unfolds. And I believe in the Power of God, and his miracles, "that perhaps we don't see", yet know, He's there. "the unseen". I also like trying to see life as a child, and I don't wanna grow up, and don't like calendar neurosis. I'ts been a long ride through life, but, God, as I live and breathe, has kept me alive, despite all the miracles, he's given me. And I do believe in miracles, "because He has touched me in so many ways,", with many.
