Most of my friends see me as an "out of the box" type of person, meaning that when God created me, He threw away the mold :) I can be very quiet, seen as serious at times, yet can be a bit of a playful clown in order not to take things so seriously. They also see me as a person who, tries hard to stay on the narrow path going to Heaven. Prayer is not only something I do, it's a way of life for me. It's that crucial to who I really am... Like many others I actually enjoy, Nature, genuine affection, sincerity of words, the company of friends, laughter, children's way of perceiving the world - simple, direct, uncomplicated. The older I get the more I prefer simplicity. If nothing else it sure saves alot of time... In the Myers Brigg analysis of personality types - I am an INFJ the rarest of personality types. I've come to believe that in knowing oneself, it not only is freeing but quite practical as well.

Isn't technology amazing? We can meet others that are far away and connect! So many people in this world to meet! So about me, I like to have fun with friends; I want to go out and enjoy my life. I like people, dogs, nature, music, books, travel and many other things. I love going to restaurants, movies, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends. I like walks with my dogs. I notice the stars at night or the sky in early morning when it is just me and my dog. I love eating out, trying new foods, enjoying every day. I have travelled and always want to again, finding something interesting at every city, specially restaurants and people. What makes me smile? My children's smile, selflessness, generosity, classic jazz, salsa, good food and more. What I am looking for? Someone to share all of the above. Now, my kids do not need another parent, only adults they can trust. What do you think? Up to finding out about each other?

*thanks to CM I have met a very special man. The Lord brought him into my life and I'm very thankful. I'm keeping my account active to participate in the forums. May God bless you on your search and find that special person* Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. It is the belief that God will do what is right. Short attention span? Let me summarize myself for you in one sentence. Me? 40, widowed, professional, STEELERS loving, animal lover, church going, Bible reading, God, family and country loving woman seeking that special man to journey through life together. Yankee southern transplant. I've been living in NC for 17 years and love it. I am blessed to work in a profession that I love. I try to be the best Catholic I can everyday. Attend church as often as I can, pray daily - my rosary is always in my pocket, wear my scapular, read my Bible and have my favorite prayers. I am a cradle Catholic and thank my mother for instilling such a strong belief in God within me at a young age. I've been on a journey the last few years to become the best version of myself I can - spiritually, mentally and physically. I am in the best shape of my life, having lost nearly 80 pounds - 25 or so to go to hit my goal. I exercise regularly 5-7 days a week depending on my schedule. I have a home gym and bike outdoors when the weather allows. I believe in giving back to the community whether by donating platelets - which I try to do regularly and raising money for good causes. Last year I participated in the local Walk to end Lupus 5K for the first time. I was the number one fundraiser in my city. This year I set my goals higher and created a team to honor my sister, who has Lupus. Team Baby Sister had participants from all over the country and donors from all over the world. I am proud to say we were the number 2 fund raising team. I was extremely honored to be a part of Opening Ceremonies, giving a speech about how Lupus has affected me. Things I love - my Fitbit-- take place in daily competitions, cruising around with the top down singing at the top of my lungs, extra toasty cheez its, riding my bike getting caught in the rain and loving how alive it makes me feel. I dance in my living room and And I can't forget my Pittsburgh Steelers. Win, lose or tie I'm a Steelers fan until I die! We only get one shot at life and I am determined to make my life count. If you think we may have something in common, I'd love to hear from you.

I am a convert since 2009. My goal is to live up to the high bar that my Catholic faith sets for me in all regards: spirit, body and mind - even if it takes me a lifetime. I am currently living a happy existence. I had my share of errors in my 20s and 30s, but now I am enjoying the years out of the dark and into the light. My greatest influence is Christ. He is my Real Knight in Shining Armor! He does exist and is coming back riding a white horse across the heavens. How awesome is that!!!

Hey there! Well, I'm Grace. I'm passionate about my faith first and foremost! I really truly LOVE being Catholic. Recently the Latin Mass has been incredibly influential in my life and it's become very important to me. I could put so much more here about that but we would be here for hours so just message me if you want to know why I love it so much :) As far as what I enjoy doing, I enjoy running and am currently in training for a half marathon. I love visiting zoos, museums, state parks, swing dancing, traveling.....I'm usually pretty open to trying anything once. But I also like to stay in a lot and just relax. Depends on the day. I read a lot when I get the chance, and my taste in books ranges from "Lord of the Rings", to "Sense and Sensibility", to Agatha Christie, to many many other places in between. I'm also currently reading "A Severe Mercy". Once you get to know me, I have an EXTREMELY sarcastic sense of humor, which has gotten me into trouble more than once. I blame it on growing up with brothers. Speaking of siblings, I'm the oldest of a large family. Yes, I love children. No, they aren't "a natural form of birth control so I don't ever desire kids." Yes, I am completely okay with being a stay at home wife and mother. Speaking of large families....If you want me to cook a meal for 20 people I can do that no problem, just don't ask me to make dessert. I can't bake. I mean I can bake a couple things but.....yeah. If you want to know about my cement muffins feel free to ask.
