37, Harrisburg, NCIt is really hard to talk about myself because I don't like to be in the spotlight, but here it goes. I like to read, dance, hang out with friends, watch TV, go to the mountains (love the mountains-went to Appalachian State University in Boone- LOVED IT), cook and bake. I belive that those are two different things- cooking and baking. I have three sisters and a brother. I also have a 8yr old niece who is my goddaughter, a 7 yr old nephew a three year old niece, an 11month old niece, 7 month old nephew and finally a one month old niece who I love to dote on whenever I can! I teach fifth graders all day long, so I usually have some interesting stories to share about my day. So what's your story?
64, Kernersville, NCI am new to this but thought I would try. One of my favorite times is spending it with my beautiful granddaughter. She is 18 & attending college. My second grade teacher, sister Veronica, was very influential in my education. She was ind, loved God & taught well. I like to walk and read. I volunteer at the Church office, which gives me great satisfaction.
71, Boone, NCI am a life-long Catholic, with deep roots in the Catholic tradition of learning, since I am also a professor of religious studies. That has made me open to all religious traditions, and I have exercised that openness in going abroad as a Fulbright Scholar to two Muslim-majority countries. I just returned after six months in Indonesia. I have been given such rich, life-changing experiences in my life that I would be very happy to share them and to learn from others about their intellectual and spiritual life. That is why I am seeking a committed, faithful, loving reeven and especially if it includes questioning, doubting, searching. with someone who could share their own background. Attending Catholic schools through high school and college, where I had strong, independent nuns who modeled both religious faith and intellectual inquiry was formative in my life. My father, born in Vienna, Austria, and caught up in the Holocaust because of his being Jewish, was a tremendous influence more by his innate goodness than any words he actually used. He was quiet, gentle, and deeply loved my mother. He became a Catholic before they married. I love to hike the beautiful mountains in which I live; I love music of all kinds, but particularly folk, bluegrass, classical. I love to sing and to dance when the opportunity is given. And I cook various recipes so that I can have tasty, healthful meals. I love my two grandsons, one of whom is in college, and the other in high school. I love to write, and craft words that can touch people personally.
55, Cary, NCI am passionate about everything I do and doing what I can. My kids, of course. Laughter, physical touch, giving back. I spend my leisure time playing tennis, reading, gardening, and socializing with friends and family. Love all sports especially NCAA basketball and MLB.

36, Manila, PHIf things are meant to happen it will happen no matter what... I believe God is always in control. I am a Filipina woman who grew up away from the city. Brought up in a family with close family ties. Beach/nature is always my top pick of escape from the busy life of the city. I appreciate moment of solitude but I also love to spend the day next to someone special... life becomes more colorful when you share it with someone whom God has prepared to be your partner in life. I believe that God is working on that... i believe He has planned it even before we are born. Right now, I am looking forward to meeting him and spend the rest of my life with him. I know, Gods plan is always the best. His timing is perfect... never too early nor too late.
46, Mooresville, NCI love to experience life and meet people...it energizes me. Hiking and dancing are my favorite, followed by dinners and barbecues with family and friends.
23, Charlotte, NCNew to Charlotte from South Carolina. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Literature and Writing, and now I work as a technical writer for a medical company. I was born in Canada, so of course I'm a huge hockey fan :)
46, Quezon City, PHI am passionate about teaching and learning new things. New experiences helps you grow as an individual. Going out with friends, having dinner, watching movies and reading are activities I enjoy outside of work.
38, Pasig, PHI'm Lian! Im presently residing in Manila. I'm a government employee. I'm a shy and simple person. The most influential people in my life are my family who always been there for me during my ups and down. I enjoy watching TV, movies, eating and listening to music. I do a lot of exercise like, jogging, boxing, muay thai and I go the gym 3 time a week.
33, Manila, PHTeaching is my greatest passion. Most of the time I'm with 5 year old kids; that sometimes I feel like I'm one of them. I also love to cook and try new dishes. I usually spend my leisure time going out with family and friends.
45, Indian Trail, NCHello there, I'm Ingrid and am new to Charlotte from New York! North Carolina is soo beautiful and I would love to explore it with someone who enjoys taking a ride here and there to a beautiful location but also doesn't mind staying home on rainy and lazy days watching tv and ordering pizza or if I'm not feeling that lazy I'll cook. Speaking of cooking, I love to cook and I've been told I'm a pretty good cook...and no it wasn't my mom...although she is an awesome cook who learned from her mom and picked up some more tips from my paternal grandma and she's passed on all that savviness on to me. I have a great sense of humor, I love sci-f--yes the usual suspects are included--Star Wars, Star Trek, The Matrix, anything that involves space and spaceships, love animals , am a great listener, not a great singer--sorry. Obviously my faith is important to me, or else I wouldn't be on this site. I would love to find someone that is just as in love with our Lord and the Church he left us, as much as I am. Back in NY I was a CCD teacher for 4th and 5th graders and had a blast doing it! Our parish priest formed a group called Treasure Hunters and that's what he renamed CCD, although he preferred the term Faith Formation. So we were all called Treasure Hunters and of course the treasure was Jesus. I love Gregorian Chant but I also love Linkin Park...how do you reconcile that? Well, this is just a little about me, there's tons more so if you would like to say "Hi" don't hesitate.
