67, Swansboro, NCHi There! My name is Camille and I never thought I would use a dating site! Never-the-less here I am! I guess this places me in a vulnerable position but to find a good lasting relationship you must be willing to put yourself out there. I love animals and nature and working outdoors in my garden. I enjoy exploring new places and travel. I have a fantasy trip in mind to travel Italy especially Florence to view the art and historic churches. I am an avid reader and a film fanatic. I do try to stay fit and healthy. I am careful with my food choices and work out at the neighborhood gym. I am a great cook and really love making people happy by feeding them good wholesome food.
68, Cary, NCMost of my friends see me as an "out of the box" type of person, meaning that when God created me, He threw away the mold :) I can be very quiet, seen as serious at times, yet can be a bit of a playful clown in order not to take things so seriously. They also see me as a person who, tries hard to stay on the narrow path going to Heaven. Prayer is not only something I do, it's a way of life for me. It's that crucial to who I really am... Like many others I actually enjoy, Nature, genuine affection, sincerity of words, the company of friends, laughter, children's way of perceiving the world - simple, direct, uncomplicated. The older I get the more I prefer simplicity. If nothing else it sure saves alot of time... In the Myers Brigg analysis of personality types - I am an INFJ the rarest of personality types. I've come to believe that in knowing oneself, it not only is freeing but quite practical as well.
30, Greensboro, NCI'm generally cheerful and outgoing. I smile a lot. I don't mind talking to strangers. If I want something, I'll go after it or find a way to make it happen. I like things natural and no-frills. For me, that means no painted nails or jewelry and only minimal make-up. However, I do value femininity, and I wear skirts almost all the time. I love being outside. Cold and rain don't bother me, and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. For the last several years I've been working in the non-profit world with the low income and homeless populations. I have no formal training in social work, but somehow that's what I've ended up doing, and it's great! I have undergrad degrees in Construction Management and Spanish. I love historic architecture and I'm fascinated with pocket neighborhoods and the tiny house movement. It might be fun to work for an architect some day, but I'm not really concerned about having a "career" job or making tons of money. It's more important to be doing something worthwhile. So I don't mind having a beat up car and a dumb phone, and I'm content to shop at thrift stores for most things. I've always been drawn to a more rural lifestyle, so a couple years ago I decided to buy a house and start a little backyard farm in the city. I now have a good sized garden, a small flock of chickens, and a couple beehives. It's been a great experience. I've learned a ton and it's given me a new perspective on life. I'm an avid DIYer so I'm always in the middle of some kind of project. I'm pretty handy with both power tools and a sewing machine. I enjoy fixing up old furniture and I've done some reupholstery as well. Lately though, I've been spending most of my time working on my house and my little "farm". My other favorite things to do are horseback riding and hiking. But as much as I like being busy with projects and activities, I also love quiet time at home, reading a book, cooking, housekeeping, or sitting by the fire. I'm accustomed to working independently and being on my own, but it kinda feels like something (or someone) is missing...
63, Hampstead, NCI enjoy getting together with my friends, who mean a lot to me, yet do not mind spending time at home. Everything in moderation..... I love to laugh, dance, be out and about. I look forward to one major trip a year. Love my friends!
65, Oxford, NCI have a difficult time talking about myself, but I will give it a shot. I am fortunate to be healthy and I work full time, hours that some find difficult. I still hope for love - and haven't given up on the idea that someone might think the world of me, and I of him. I hope for someone whose eyes light up when he sees me, who wants to share this life and explore with me. I value each day as a gift. I think every day should be a special occasion! I believe in prayer, and try not to judge others. I love the ocean, new places, music, art, and mysteries. Ask me some questions, I will answer. I will not date someone who is unkind to others, generosity of spirit and a great sense of humor carry one far in this life. Lastly, family means everything. I wish you peace and every good thing.
42, Salisbury, NCI am passionate about my online business. I sell quilts that I create in my ETSY shop stylinquiltdesigns , and it's great when someone appreciates the handmade work I do. What do I look forward to? I look forward to spending time with someone I like to be with, and it's always so nice to have a break from working during the week. Love the weekends! I enjoy nature-not in a camping/backpacking way- but I like to go hiking on the weekends sometimes. Like the waterfalls and fresh air. Going for a walk is nice too. Going to a restaurant or movie and and going skiing are some of my favorite things to do too. My mother is so kind and patient, and I feel she has raised me to be a thoughtful person. Hmm...well, being catholic, I have lots of brothers and sisters who have influenced my life in some way.
24, Charlotte, NCI am currently a kindergarten teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina. I enjoy drinking coffee, exploring new places, spending time outside, and reading books.

70, Charlotte, NCHello ~~ I am a youthful so-called senior citizen, in very good health, active and cheerful. In person, people assume that I'm no more than sixty. Not particularly photogenic. Love to be outdoors unless it's 90+ degrees and humid; then I want the shade. Allergic to hair color chemicals. Kind, interested in other people, very affectionate, love good humor. Able to get along with people from many walks of life. "A soft answer turneth away wrath." My Catholic faith is at the center of who I am and how I live my life. I love the Mass; I prefer the Tridentine Latin Mass; attend once each week; Rosary for Life each Sunday, Eucharistic Adoration, etc.. I am active in my parish's Respect Life apostolate. When I lived near LaCrosse, WI, I visited and attended Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine. Beautiful, and so inspiring! Teacher: History and Literature, and Studio Art. Enjoy teaching Shakespeare, the British Romantic poets; poetry in general. A few favorite books: The Bible, We Took to the Woods, My Antonia, Pride and Prejudice, Centennial, White Goats and Black Bees. I am a painter, and a published writer. Love old houses and historic sites and preservation. I've been told that I have a great attitude and make people smile. I enjoy life, despite my losses. I have lived mostly in rural or small town settings, and love gardening. I'm a PASSIONATE GARDENER! I love animals, especially dogs. I currently live in a city setting, but prefer the country, or a smaller city or small town. The important feature would be some space for gardening. I am in very good health and have terrific longevity genes. I'm mostly a homebody, but have taken and enjoyed many road trips. I've been to Canada several times. Last summer I drove by myself from Charlotte to New Brunswick, CA, then took the ferry across to Nova Scotia to see friends, a trip my husband and I had wanted to make, had he lived. It was a beautiful trip. Gorgeous! I stay busy, but I've never been athletic and have no talent for sports in which I must do something with a ball; a walk in the park, or spectator sports, is more my style. I used to dance. I have old injuries to my knees that keep me from biking or hiking over tough, rocky terrain, and which also limit me to slow dancing these days. I enjoy going to a local softball game or soccer match, or watching a football or baseball game on TV, etc. I actually like baseball best.
22, Jacksonville, NCHey there! Well, I'm Grace. I'm passionate about my faith first and foremost! I really truly LOVE being Catholic. Recently the Latin Mass has been incredibly influential in my life and it's become very important to me. I could put so much more here about that but we would be here for hours so just message me if you want to know why I love it so much :) As far as what I enjoy doing, I enjoy running and am currently in training for a half marathon. I love visiting zoos, museums, state parks, swing dancing, traveling.....I'm usually pretty open to trying anything once. But I also like to stay in a lot and just relax. Depends on the day. I read a lot when I get the chance, and my taste in books ranges from "Lord of the Rings", to "Sense and Sensibility", to Agatha Christie, to many many other places in between. I'm also currently reading "A Severe Mercy". Once you get to know me, I have an EXTREMELY sarcastic sense of humor, which has gotten me into trouble more than once. I blame it on growing up with brothers. Speaking of siblings, I'm the oldest of a large family. Yes, I love children. No, they aren't "a natural form of birth control so I don't ever desire kids." Yes, I am completely okay with being a stay at home wife and mother. Speaking of large families....If you want me to cook a meal for 20 people I can do that no problem, just don't ask me to make dessert. I can't bake. I mean I can bake a couple things but.....yeah. If you want to know about my cement muffins feel free to ask.
