I am very glad local Detroit Mountain Recreation Area is now open. I look forward to trying to see if I can still X-C ski !!! I still have my skis and boots, but it's been a few years since I last skied. I see I'm writing as I think, and on second thought, there is a park nearby, where I used to X-C ski after work and on weekends, too. And the price is right. :} If I "pass" THAT self-challenge, I'd be more apt to go to DL. I just remember some of the beautiful trails there.........:} If I knew how to make a paragraph, it would go Here: What experiences / people most influenced me? I taught for two years on a MT Indian Reservation, with all-good experiences. Same with being in the Army as a medic. Mostly good experiences. No, I was not in the Army during Viet Nam era.... Last, what do I enjoy doing in my leisure time? In the AM I often listen to Catholic radio. I like facebook, but I recently stopped playing my favorite game - Pet Rescue Saga, on computer. I had never played these games til this last month and I saw how it could be addictive. THis is hard describing myself, cause now I feel I must further describe myself, ie, I don't smoke and I don't drink often. :} I love to read, non-fiction. I love attending Holy Mass, and finally I can say, I just recently started to really enjoy the peace I get in praying the Rosary. It took many years to get to the point where it is enjoyable. I like to pray with friends. My friends say I make them laugh. My family thinks I'm too Catholic, ha ha. It's great being so free to practice my faith values. I love to learn, and I am really trying to remember that God is in charge of changing my family's hearts toward Himself. All glory and honor to You, Lord Jesus Christ, with Mary.
