I love to walk/hike; like music and going to concerts; plays; theater; reading; dancing; playing cards; decorating; eating out. I am a very good cook, but cooking for one is not much fun. I'm playful, like to kid around and very Irish. ... I am very easy going, laid back, like nature and simple things in life. Appreciate every day... I love to be around water... have been canoeing, would like to try kayak... I believe learning is lifelong so if you can teach me something, I am an enthusiastic student! Would love to learn to play golf and speak Spanish.

Here's some honesty, I am a very passionate person. I'm looking for a man who can take care of himself and enjoys the same things I do. Including my faith. Someone who enjoys the chaos that comes with kids, dogs and who can tolerate me also caring for my mom who has lost her independence. My current job is in finance , however, I was a fine arts major and that's what I love. I still try to get out for the things I enjoy like concerts and movies.. Etc. I'm not the kind of girl you're going to find in a bar , I do enjoy a good party though. I'm raising three children on my own and I'm slowly fixing up my older home which is currently reminding me if the 80's movie Money Pit. I'm learning as I go. My independence has always been my strength but I'm at a place in my life where id like to let my guard down. Ive tried eharmony and match mostly because I don't go places I would meet new people. Church and the Ymca don't have many single men. I don't know if I'll ever find that man but I'm hopeful. I let my membership lapse on this one.
  • Chrissy, 26 from Greenville, OH
    26, Greenville, OH
Hi! I'm Chrissy! I live in Greenville, Oh and work as a sustitute teacher in a nearby school district. I really enjoy working with kids and I get to work with different ones everyday! I enjoy sports, especially football! I hardly ever miss an Ohio State or Bengals game! Although football is my favorite sport, I could watch just about any sport. I enjoy going to concerts, sporting events, traveling, trying new things. Family is the most important thing in life so I am very family oriented. I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.
  • Ann, 66 from Springfield, OH
    66, Springfield, OH
I am a practicing "cradle" Catholic, mother of 4 adult children (3 sons and one daughter), grandmother to 4, and retired from Federal Civil Service employment in the secretarial/administrative field. After almost 3 carefree years in retirement, I recently submitted my application to a placement agency. I asked to be considered for part-time work, with the expectations that I would expand my social contacts and keep my brain active. At almost 64 years of age, I have been single for 9 years following the annulment of my 31-year marriage. It would be wonderful to meet a Catholic guy who is also retired and would welcome the opportunity to share our Faith and have fun doing simple things - conversation over a good cup of coffee, watching a wholesome video, going on a picnic, day trips to take in the beauty of nature or something special the area has to offer visitors, etc. I thought I should explain two of my answers to the Faith questions. Regarding contraception, I feel that some barrier methods are acceptable. However, I strongly oppose any method that would prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the womb. Currently, the Church only allows the ordination of men. In the United States we have a growing shortage of priests. In Springfield, OH, one parish (of five) has closed. Two others have joined. Sunday Mass is still offered in both locations, with one priest traveling between the two parishes on weekends. Next year two more parishes will join in the same manner - sharing one priest. I would like to see the Church consider the ordination of women and also allowing priests to marry.

Hi...I'm Mary. I am a 53 year old divorced white female. I live in the Dayton Ohio area. I have 2 children , a daughter and a son both in their 20's. I'm 5'2 green eyes, blonde hair, I am told I am pretty, But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am sincere, kind considerate. My family is very important to me. I am a moral person and try to live my life as God wants me too.

Hi, nice to meet you! I'm a daydreamer, hopeless nerd, slayer of spiders, chocolate enthusiast, and most importantly a woman of God. I work at a non-profit that helps children of addicted parents, and I absolutely love my job. It's an organization that truly makes a difference for our kids, and I'm blessed to be a part of it. I am also a fantasy book editor, which is my passion project. It's a series that I have been working on for a very long time, and the first book was published last October: next one up for this spring! Editing is wonderful because I love delving into stories. The characters, the plots, the themes, the story... when you're an editor, these are your playground. ;) I've been Catholic for about 7 years now, and my faith is very important in my life. Through all of my life's trials God has been present, and I know without any doubt that it is upon Him that I must build my life. Happily, I may add. :) For fun, I'm pretty much up for anything! I'm a huge nerd, and love video games. Also, hiking, video games, yoga, going out or staying in... I'm like a social butterfly mixed with a bookworm, so some nights I want nothing more than to curl up warm with a good book, and some nights I get a craving to go out that can't be stopped! I recently moved into a new apartment, so I've been doing a lot of apartment therapy and DIY to get it put together. I just finished painting my dining room table, and I'm currently working on refinishing my living room furniture. It's a lot of fun!

Most important to me is my family. I have three grown children who are amazing, a 15 year old son at home, and some pretty cute grandkids. They are the center of my life. I also have a great group of friends and I keep pretty busy trying to stay fit with running, biking, yoga, etc. I am very busy and my life is filled with fun yet there is something missing. • Angie, 58 from Springboro, OH
    58, Springboro, OH
I love my family, my Catholic faith, shopping, music, and my job -- among many other things. My ancestry is Irish and Dutch (50/50). Since I have no children, I consider my 12 nieces and nephews as my children. I think that I am a very upbeat, positive and blessed person.
  • Andrea, 25 from Fairborn, OH
    25, Fairborn, OH
I'm currently a software billing auditor which is just a means of making a living. I have a degree in hospitality management, which I plan to use someday. I'd eventually like to own a bed and breakfast or small inn. In my spare time, I like to read, write, sew, and spend time with my family. I also enjoy hiking, biking, and would love to get more involved in water sports, but kayaks are expensive.

I am a recent college graduate (UC), and I am taking a year break from school after 6 years of undergrad. Looking forward to starting physical therapy school; God willing I get in! I have all brothers and I am a twin. Deep down I am a I bit of a tomboy, but don't get me wrong I absolutely love being a women and wouldn't trade it for the world. When I think that, if it is God's will, I can carry life inside me and it is my role to protect that life blows my mind with how awesome that is. TOB is a favorite of mine. I love a good laugh, especially God's sense of humor. Everything I've said I hated I have grown to love; whether it be math, cats, pathology, and so on I have learned to find the beauty in all things. I find it especially funny that I had disliked cats my whole life and then a mom cat abandons the runt and his sister on my doorstep...a year later look who has two cats! Haha
