35, Steubenville, OHHello! So this is the part where I say all these amazing things that will make you want to pick me out of all the ladies here! That's a tall order but Ok, here it goes! :) I'm the type of girl who is always willing to make you laugh or at least roll your eyes with a bad pun or a really dumb joke. I'm often called 'a walking encyclopedia of useless knowledge', I'm fast to pick up on moods and I'll do my best to lift up the spirits of anyone who is down. I'm quick-witted and I have a bubbly yet sarcastic sense of humor. I'm more of a homebody and I prefer to stay in have dinner and a movie than to go out, albeit I do enjoy a fun night out on the town. I know the difference between a hammer drill and cordless drill and can changed the oil in my car. Impressed yet? ;) I teach catechism, spend time with Our Lord each week and certainly know my way around the kitchen. I own my own home, car, have a good job, professional, academic, intelligent and love to talk about a wide variety of topics. While I do like my job, my dream job has been to be a wife and stay at home mom if the Lord so wills.
50, Steubenville, OHI am pretty adventurous with a lifelong love of travel that included a junior year in college in London and brought me to live in New York City, Colorado and Australia before I decided that I want to be closer to my family in the Southeast. I was fortunate to have jobs that promoted (required:) travel, but I got to enjoy home and discover a very active church community in Atlanta when I returned to graduate school. I then taught for several years in Alabama before relocating to Steubenville, OH to teach. I'm looking forward to seeing what awaits me in this next adventure!
62, Steubenville, OHWhat an adventure This life is! One thing I have learned though is that Our Good Lord always guides, protects, heals and teaches.... no matter what. My Faith is my rock, and I consider Jesus my best friend. This is my first priority, and all else flows from there... My second priority has always been my family. I have four kids and four granddaughters, though my nest is now empty which feels rather odd. My awesome 22 year old just graduated from college, opened her wings and soared off to her first professional job. It will be exciting to see what Our Lord brings next... Having said that, I have always been a quiet, easy going sort with a soul that craves adventure. I am blessed, (or cursed), with an artistic temperament, and love beauty of all kinds, especially what is found hiding inside of people. I arrange the altar flowers for our parish and occasional weddings which is morphing into a part time business... a job I truly love. One of the greatest gifts since my divorce is dusting off my guitar to play in a couple of our parish's music ministries. Such an honor to sing for Our Lord. But of all the things Our Good Lord has provided, the grace to start a divorce recovery group for my parish has been the most fulfilling. Truly, inside of every tragedy lies a sparkling silver lining. It's an honor to discover those blessings not only in myself, but within the souls I am surrounded with. As far as dreams go, I long for the beauty of nature......just about anything God has created has it's own unique charm. I used to do a lot of primitive camping, and would dearly love to find someone who enjoys the simple pleasures of the outdoors. I'm currently working on getting my three oldest granddaughters out swimming, hiking, canoeing, and camping. So far so good. There's much to rejoice over. I would also like to continue working for the church, and Am usually willing to travel just about anywhere. : )
26, Steubenville, OHHi! Thanks for stopping by! I think that most of my family and friends would consider me a pretty easy going person. I am passionate about my faith, family, friends and treating everyone around me with love and respect. I strive to love God with my whole heart, mind, soul and strength and to love my neighbor as myself. I want everyone I encounter to feel cared for and important in both my personal and professional life. I want to grow in holiness each day and to serve others because my ultimate goal is heaven. I love to spend quality time and relax with family and friends, have deep conversations, play games, watch movies, read, explore and so much more than I can list on here!
23, Steubenville, OHI am passionate about most importantly, about my Catholic faith. I truly believe God places the right people and places in our lives for our own good. What I have learned the most about life and experiences is that, it's a journey. A journey to strive for holiness and heaven. But through the good and through the bad our loving Father is always there. I also truly believe, God has a GREAT sense of humor. But hey, that's why we call it the Divine Comedy. I look forward to whatever plans/adventures God has in store for me, and my loved ones. I strongly feel called to be married. I have discerned for six years, but God and my spiritual director made it clear to me that I am called to marriage. My dad has been the most influential person in my life, though my mom is pretty awesome too! Being homeschooled for five years, gave me a huge opportunity to grow closer to my family and get to know them so well. I learn so much from each of my siblings. I was raised with four brothers and a sister. And, each of them is so different and unique. I love having conversations with my brothers and just hearing them laugh about fire and bugs exploding. They have such cool stories, I never get tired of them. Haha! Whereas, here is my sister watching My Little Pony and My Littlest Pet Shop. They are great! I love being in the outdoors, truly appreciate craziness and humor, silly facial expressions and noises, ministry (in everything!), guitar, praise and worship, horseback riding, and having deep conversations about everything. At the moment, I am studying Theology at Franciscan University (WHOO-HOO!) Which had been my dream to come here for six years. It's been such a huge blessing to study here. The people I met here are just so amazing. It's not perfect. I know a lot of people think, "oh wow it's a Catholic campus, I bet everyone is so holy!" Well, we are not holy. We are real people who struggle everyday. Just like everyone else. Though, it is such a blessing to have people who challenge you into being the person God is calling you to be.
20, Steubenville, OHMy name is Rachel! I am currently a student at Franciscan University, studying nursing. I am a practicing Catholic and my faith is the most important thing in my life.
24, Steubenville, OHHi! I recently graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University. I am currently working as a children's therapist locally and enjoy the challenge! When I'm not at work, I love spending time with friends and family, exploring new places, going running with my dog, sharing a good conversation over tea, among many other things! Singing is my favorite. My friends call me the Cake Boss. I'll dance at the drop of a hat. My heroes are many but include St. Benedict, St. Jose Sanchez del Rio, St. John Paul II, and a holy Benedictine monk named Fr. Boniface.

30, Steubenville, OHIm a people person and love getting to know others. On a typical day you may find me on the field coaching a lacrosse game, having a fun night out in Pittsburgh, sitting on my porch having good conversation with great people, chilling while watching the Office or catching up with my awesome family (Im the oldest of 8 kids). I am a woman of faith who has been on an incredible journey striving for authenticity, realness and wholeness. Living a balanced and integrated life is important to me. Any questions, just ask!
56, Belpre, OHI'm recently widowed and looking for the warmth of companionship from people who share my values and perspective on life. I believe life is a gift from God and should be treasured. I'm down to earth, honest, kind, respectful and a loyal friend. I enjoy simple pleasures and prefer country living. Crowds and loud people make me nervous. I'm independent and try to be self sufficient. I stay busy maintaining my home and property but enjoy trips to Ohio Amish Country and other off the beaten path destinations. I'm happy with what I have and live within my means. I like sewing, gardening, birdwatching, DIY projects and learning new homesteading skills. I watch a little TV but have been cable free for more than 15 years. I prefer a good book.
33, Steubenville, OH[Originally, when I joined Catholic Match, some time ago, after I had come back from a semester in Austria, I had my father photograph me holding two guns ... however, that picture, the guns and my father are all in Nevada, while I am currently not.] I am a transplant to the Steubenville area, originally from the Northern Nevada high desert. Though initially interested in a career in the fine arts, my father, an Orthodox priest, insisted that I attend Franciscan University, which I fell in love with, probably upon my second day of being here. The only geographical place I love more (beyond Franciscan - not Steubenville) would be the city of Rome, Italy, where my heart is still walking though its streets since a study-abroad semester there while I was completing my graduate work. I have an undergrad degree in Theology/History from Franciscan, and a Masters in Arts in Theology from Franciscan. Currently I am working on the Franciscan campus to pay off my loans for said Masters in Arts. I love dreaming about walking the Camino (in Northern Spain) and someday running a hostel in Europe. I am an extrovert that has tons of training in being alone. In Nevada, I loved working with horses and dancing. At Franciscan, I love being with the people. My passion is mentally connecting the dots in my mind of what I have learned concerning salvation history. I have also taken every class at Franciscan that Dr. Regis Martin has to offer. I also love polka music.
59, Harrison, OHI enjoy my friends and family and look forward to spending time with them. My mother I think was the most influential person in my life. She raised seven children after my father died. All of us went to Catholic high school which was a struggle for her. I enjoy festivals, country music, cooking, going out to dinners, or just spending time at home.
