  • Maria, 32 from Vermilion, OH
    32, Vermilion, OH
Hello, I'm Maria. I am in the process of getting a post-baccalaureate in Paralegal studies so I can help lawyers right the many wrongs in this world; I got tired of complaining about injustices and decided to do something proactive about it. I'm a Catholic who is a sinner, an introvert who loves friends, an intellectual who loves Shaun of the Dead, and a cook who can easily burn bread. I have a Masters degree in Library Science, but that was a spectacular waste of money. I am a lot of fun, laid back, and currently single. I would like to be able to change that last adjective, but I also am happy to meet new friends!

Hello! Thank you for popping onto my page. :) Please shoot me a message or read on! The most important aspect to my life is that I am very passionate about being involved and practicing my faith daily. (That's probably why we're all here - to find the person whom God designed to lead each other closer to Christ and to Heaven.) I am currently a high school youth minister and I wouldn't change a thing about my job! Youth ministry is not what was apart of "my original plan." God let me wonder on my own path for awhile to slowly realize His plan for me in my life. This path included pre-vet school, studying how to be a creative teacher, and working at a zoo in the education department. Through each step in life, I was involved in youth ministry and couldn't shake the feeling! (There's a whole beautiful story which can be shared later.) Never has my soul been on fire for Christ when it comes to sharing His love for those who need him most. My teens are absolutely a treasure and I am blessed by the challenges and sacrifices that occur with my job. In my journey to sainthood, I plan on campaigning for the "patron saint of inconveniences, awkward moments, and klutzy occurrences." My teens have witnessed me at my faults and I welcome those moments that humble me! My upmost joy comes from being outside and being close to my God. I love camping, kayaking, swimming, hiking, or anything else that gets me away from the city. Like most outdoor people, I have certainly been bitten by the travel bug. Among my adventures, I long to head back to Ireland and in the future hope to see Africa and Australia to see the wildlife. I am open to trying new activities and having new experiences! I also enjoy quiet nights at home playing games or watching movies. My friends jokingly call me "hostess" or "mom" because I am always providing entertainment and having friends over. It's my way of blessing my friends and family. My house is frequented by 2 mixed border collies: one is a ten year old male and the other is a one year old female.

  • Allison, 32 from Findlay, OH
    32, Findlay, OH
Im a homebody with an adventurous bent. Ive traveled to several places around the world as well as within the country. I enjoy experiencing new things, such as restaurants, places, types of wine, or anything where I might learn something interesting. On a typical weekend, I could be ballroom dancing, watching a movie, out with friends at a local restaurant, hanging out with my family, or at home curled up with a good book, and then ending with the best part; singing with the choir at mass on Sunday. So, lets get together for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and talk about the important things in life, such as which cookie is better; oatmeal vs. molasses.
  • Amy, 23 from Toledo, OH
    23, Toledo, OH
Hi, I'm Amy! Things that I am very passionate about is my faith, my family, my friends. The people that influenced me the most must is a priest from the order of St. John that I've known my whole life. He is a very close father figure to me. What I enjoy doing it at my leisure time is taking photography, tons of cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, and just chill and also having a glass of wine with Netflix.
  • Tracey, 33 from Fremont, OH
    33, Fremont, OH
My faith is important to me, and I am blessed that I work at a parish. Music has always been a vital party of my life, and it gives me joy and fulfillment to use my God-given gifts to help and encourage others in worship. I love to read, scrapbook and be in nature. I would like to travel more - I have been to Ireland twice and it was amazing. My family and friends are important to me, and I spend a lot of my free time with them. I have a cat, but like dogs as well.
  • Whitney, 23 from Oak Harbor, OH
    23, Oak Harbor, OH
I am very passionate about my faith. I majored in Theology and am now entering into my first year teaching at a Catholic school, grades 3-5. I have just joined the Marine corps. My dad has been a leading figure of strength in my life, my philosophy professor who taught me to be a critical thinker, and my MMA Sensei have all been influential people. My leisure time has been preoccupied with conditioning and training in mixed martial arts (Jiu Jitsu, Muy Thai, and Aikido). I am up for doing anything athletic/adventurous/outdoors.
  • Olivia, 23 from North Fairfield, OH
    23, North Fairfield, OH
I am a unique, dorky and fun person. Think Big Bang's Bernadette meets Harry Potter's Hermione with a bit of Criminal Mind's Penelope Garcia. (If you got even one of those references: Thank you! You are awesome!) Some of my favorite things to do are read, bake/cook, and spend time with my family. I have been an avid reader my entire life, the kind that keeps a book in her bag at all times. My favorite books are Harry Potter, cliche I know, but they're just magical. I absolutely adore kids and dogs. I'm working on being a healthier me and cannot wait to do some more hiking this summer. I hope to see the world someday, or at least a bit of it. If there's anything else you want to know, just ask!

  • Bridget, 20 from Curtice, OH
    20, Curtice, OH
My name is Bridget. I'm a cosmetologist working at a salon full time. I have a crazy cat named Pooka. I enjoy reading, listening to music and just goofing around. I like to make people happy and laugh but it takes awhile for me to come out of my shell. Right now I'm part of a Christ Renews His Parish retreat team and beginning to help with our parish youth group. And that's about it!
