71, Broadview Heights, OHI am a widow who lost my best friend in the entire world 15 years ago after a long fight with cancer. Being thrown into the single state is not fun when you've been happily married for 34 years. Most of the singles I meet are divorced and happy they made the choice to be separated from the person they once married. I feel so sad that they've never experienced the happiness in their marriage that we did.
52, Graytown, OHPeople person but also like my time alone. I love to laugh, ride horses, hiking, swimming, boating, star gazing, night fishing, walking, snowball fights getting up early in the morning just waiting for the sun to rise, frosty mornings in front of a fire, inside or out.A warm blanket and a good book. watching the sun set on Lake Erie ,even better watching a storm coming over the lake, going out at night after a big snow storm, it's so quiet and peaceful, you just hear the crush under your feet, enjoying the beauty of Gods creation covered in a blanket of snow.... awesome!! = ) I want to make the home a safe haven, where peace love and joy reign. A place you can't wait to come home to and me the one you can't get enough of... ; )
37, Cleveland, OHFamily-oriented professional who loves helping others and getting involved in community projects. Looking forward to creating a long-lasting friendship and see where it leads. I recently reactivated my account. I'm still working on my profile.
67, Marshallville, OHFor now, looking for a companion to enjoy life with....looking for someone outgoing, fun, open to new things, who likes to travel near or far, and go out and do things. I enjoy hand holding, hugs, sweet kisses, just being together or chatting. Life is unpredictable, be adventurous, and spontaneous. I have been widowed and now divorced. I want to live life to the fullest, just enjoy life and enjoy a good man, family, and friends in my life.
47, Cincinnati, OHHello and thank you for viewing my profile. I am a very caring and kindhearted person who likes to help others and loves good conversations. I am very open and honest. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like living in Cincinnati because I appreciate the beauty of all the seasons but fall is my favorite time of the year. I enjoy watching football in person or on TV...local highschool, college and professional and love all the festivies that go along with being a fan. I love to cook and entertain. I enjoy gardening and planting my own herbs and vegtables during the growing season. Shopping is therapy for me and I enjoy decorating my home especially during the holidays!
57, North Royalton, OHThanks for taking the time to read my profile. I hope somwhere in this description, something catches your intrigue. If so, please drop me a message to chat further...after all if we are both here on this site, we must be looking for that special companionship in our lives that is missing. I enjoy spending time with my "furkids", family and friends. I also enjoy nature, bicycle riding, visiting the metroparks, hiking, photography and walking the dog. Love going to festivals, museums, movies, live theater and the arts. To my mom's credit, I am a decent cook and a rather good baker...just ask my friends and neighbors. I also enjoy quilting, sewing, floral arranging and most crafts...all of which I probably get from my grandmothers. My love for gardening comes from my dad, the avid gardener who had a green thumb. The Cleveland Indians are my favorite team (there's something about getting a hot dog and a beer at a ballpark), and I've been know to attend Monsters hockey games, Akron RubberDucks and Lake County Captains minor leagues, and an occasional Cav's basketball game. My dog roots for the Cleveland Browns. I am on the board for a local collie rescue group and previously volunteered in various programs through church, including parish council, youth ministry and PSR. Two of my last three dogs were senior rescues. I'm working with my current dog to pass his canine good citizen test, and we enjoy visiting nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Would love if I could get our therapy dog international certification so that we could do hospital, school or reading program visitation. A few of my favorite sayings... - Stop and smell the roses. - Don't sweat the small stuff. - Keep the main thing the main thing.
35, New Albany, OHFaith and Family are very important to me. I grew up in a close knit family, that still talks often and enjoys spending time together. My faith is an important part of my daily life, whether it be prayer or mass. I have a great career, that keeps me busy and always makes me smile! I love being outdoors: running, biking, or kayaking. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking new recipes, going to sporting events, or enjoying a patio with live music. I tend to be very goal oriented but a sense of humor is extremely important to me.
23, Sandusky, OHI am a middle school Intervention Specialist in Ohio. I am passionate about my faith, family, and teaching. I have a 4 year old nephew I am absolutely obsessed with. I am hoping to find someone I can spend time with and grow closer with Christ. I'm pretty easy going, I like a man who is decisive because I'll admit, I'm not very decisive. :)
60, Centerville, OHHello, my name is Joanne. It's nice to meet you. I hope that you'll get to know me a bit after reading this. I'm not entirely at ease writing about myself, so bear with me if you will. What am I passionate about/look forward to the most? I'd say that being outdoors, with my camera, walking in nature is probably one of the things that I truly love. I feel totally absorbed and the closest to God when out in his beautiful creation. I look forward to meeting a special someone to share my life with, going out for dinner and a movie, music in the park or taking a short jaunt to explore a new town for a day. I believe that we are not meant to live alone, but to share it with someone we love. I hope that this gives you a bit of who I am. I look forward to meeting you!
70, Stow, OHFinding myself alone after a long wonderful marriage has been challenging and in many ways somewhat surprising. Discovering that God does give you the strength to endure difficulties and manage to come out the other side more or less in one piece and in many ways stronger than you ever though you could be. That is where I am now...discovering myself. Becoming independent is fine, however, I miss the sharing and companionship that I had and realize that I miss being a "couple". I enjoy travel, concerts and the arts. I am confident in myself to be able to participate in these activities alone but know how wonderful it is to share fun moments with someone who appreciates them as much as I do. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and life long friends. I suppose one can not ask for much more than that. However, perhaps God has just one more nice guy who would like to be with a nice lady for whatever time we both have left. I love to laugh and I welcome smiles and would like to find a gentleman who would welcome both smiles and laughter into his world.
24, Cincinnati, OHI'm skeptical of dating websites, but here goes nothing... Speech-Language Pathologist by day, nerd by night! I'm a very friendly person who cares deeply about my friends and family. I'm very close to my mom and now that I've moved back home, I spend a lot of time hanging out with her. My Jesuit education at St. Louis University and Marquette has truly impacted my life by deepening my understanding of my faith, and teaching me how to dialogue with others. Many of my close friends are not Catholic, or aren't even religious at all; they have shaped me to be an open-minded person who appreciates learning how others perceive the world differently, while being firm in my own beliefs. I've always been active with campus ministry at college, and am seeking new ways to get more involved in my parish at home. I am hoping to move back to St. Louis for a year or two since many of my close friends are still there, but would probably want to live in Cincinnati near my family in the long run. Though when you make plans, God laughs, so I'll just see what He has in store! In my free time, I enjoy reading a good book, watching one of my many Netflix shows, learning Italian, or hanging out with my friends, especially when I visit my friend in St. Louis. I'm attempting to be more athletic by going rock climbing at least once a week. I also recently joined the choir at my local parish, since I love singing and singing has greatly facilitated my prayer life. I'm also a bit of a geek and I love all things Star Wars. Many of my close friends are guys, so I really prefer to get to know someone as a friend before diving into a relationship. So if you're ok with taking your time to see if a relationship grows out of a friendship, please message me.
60, Painesville, OHI am a woman who enjoys the simple things in life. I am just as comfortable and happy listening to music at a county fair as I am at Severance Hall. Although I enjoy group activities I also need to balance that experience with some quiet time at home. By day I am an educational consultant. In my free time I do some volunteer work with young people who have developmental disabilities. I am a creative person who always has a project that I am working on. I enjoy spending time outside with my dogs, walking in the park, gardening, reading and antiquing.
