40, Scarborough, CAI am a Catholic woman who has a strong faith in and love for our dear Lord and a real joy in life. I am blessed to have a very close-knit and loving family and I love hanging out and playing with my eight delightful nieces and nephews. I am a lawyer; while I work hard, I keep it in balance. I have a ticklish funny bone, and love to laugh. I am generally happy and am often caught singing or humming. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I also enjoy spending time with my friends but generally stay away from the bar scene. I have a wide range of interests; I am genuinely interested in people and their lives and in world events. I'd like to travel and learn new and different things but I have a strong homing instinct. Having said all that, the bottom line is that I am an ordinary person who is fortunate enough to know that I am cherished by God and my family, just as I am. I love spending holy hours before the Blessed Sacrament and have a special devotion to the Divine Mercy. Although far from it at present, my main goal is to become holy. Obviously, like a lot of people on this site, I'd like to get married but in the meantime, I am trying to make the most of my life. God willing, I will meet someone who is intelligent yet humble, educated yet simple, goal oriented yet obedient to the Lord, with a huge heart and a big smile, kind to children and those in need, who loves our God and wants to follow Him with all his heart. While I am outgoing, I am also a bit shy so feel free to write. May God be with us as we seek His Holy Will!
57, North York, CAI am a happy, romantic, down-to-earth woman with a friendly personality. I am an honest person, as good a listener as I am a talker, and though a hard worker, I know how to relax and enjoy myself when the time is right. I live a wholesome lifestyle and maintained my youthful enthusiasm, upbeat outlook and active, energetic spirit. I make sure to be an honest, dependable, loyal friend to the people in my life. I am a loving, kind-hearted person and hoping to meet someone who has a similar personality and some common interests we could enjoy together.
38, Toronto, CAHi there... To give you a little backgrounder about me.... I am a good soul who strives to become better everyday. I consider myself as a work-in-progress. A born and practicing Roman Catholic. My faith is important to me. For me, life is a gift from God that needs to be nurtured and spent well doing His will. Every circumstance in life are opportunities for growth and learning and are meant to teach us something, and every place we are in right now is the best place for us at the moment. It may not be what or where we desire to be but it will definitely bring us something that we need for the journey. The key is just to listen with our hearts, stay attuned to God's voice, enjoy the journey and learn the lessons. I love learning through reading, exploring, and doing activities that enhance my potentials especially those that nurture my relationship with God. My preferred readings are fiction, and non-fiction, inspirational books preferably that of Paolo Coelho, Og Mandino, Robert Kiyosaki, John Grisham, Mitch Albom, John Maxwell, Scott Hann and my favorite Filipino writer, mentor and speaker Bo Sanchez. I am active in the catholic charismatic renewal. I have been serving in a singles ministry back in the Philippines and now here in our chapter in Ontario (we call it The Feast). Right now, I'm trying to reach out and minister to fellow single women in Feast Mississauga, in the hope of bringing the Light of Jesus (that's the name of my Catholic charismatic community) to them as effectively as possible. As a faithful, I look up to the women of faith in the bible like Esther, Ruth, Rebecca, Mama Mary, etc. And I hope that with God's grace, I become the kind of woman described in Proverbs 31. I know that I still have a very long way to go, but God's grace and faithfulness is sufficient enough. I am both a home buddy and the type that can be tagged along to the movies, concerts, sports events, even musical or stage plays, to some socials or even just to sit around in a park for a picnic or a coffee shop. I would consider going to a bar just to unwind but seldom to loud & noisy places. I prefer places where there is room for conversation. "No life is a waste. The only time we waste is the time spent thinking we are alone." - Mitch Albom (Five People You Meet in Heaven"). My guiding bible passage: "Who knows but that you have come to such a (royal) position for such a time as this"-Esther 4:14

29, Toronto, CAFirst of all, I never go by Angela. Unfortunately, that's the rule of the site that I do have to use a name that is Christian enough. It is on my baptism certificate though :) so it is still a real name. Apart from the faith itself, I cannot live without swimming and watching sports on TV. I used to swim competitively (not like Team Ontario level), but I was forced to stop in university. I still swim leisurely. I am a big fan of Manchester United and the Toronto Raptors. I know, that's not very creative. I am also passionate in social media. Don't get me wrong, I am not those who got addicted to Facebook. I usually use it for work purposes, especially Twitter and YouTube. It really helps in stimulating my brain and makt it active all the time. Reading has been a huge part in my life too. I still have a library of books in my apartment. However, I am moving towards ebooks now. Then I have a virtual library. Did I not mention that I am a foodie? Not only I appreciate food a lot, I love cooking as well. I cannot bake unfortunately. I literally will burn anything in the oven. If you are planning to get a new oven, feel free to invite me to bake in your oven because I will burn that for you.
