I consider myself a sociable person that has a good sense of humor. I have good manners and like others to do too. I'm a pretty sentimental person and family and friends are important to me. I'm a Italian/Irish Catholic who attends services regularly. I also believe in the power of prayer. I have 2 sons one in college now and the other a senior in high school. While being catholic is important to me, I'm not overboard about it either. I strive to be a better version of myself daily and I always treat other people the way I would want to be treated.

How to describe... I grew up in a large Italian family - busy, loud, and Catholic. (Think poster child for Catholic education!) Family and friends are very important to me, and being a good parent a key focus in my life. What do I like to do? Honestly, I enjoy my work, it's challenging and interesting. I love to dance and would love to have someone who enjoys dancing also (not a requirement, though)... also love to have conversation, drink wine, meet people, and learn new things.

I celebrate life. I love people, but like quiet time. I am comfortable both out and about as well as at home. I look to developing relationships that put faith in action. I'm interested in Iconography and illuminated text. I have designed and crafted stained glass. I believe if God is first, all is good with the family. I believe in the vocation of marriage as holy and sacred between a man and a woman. I love dancing and love that David danced before the Lord. I love to travel and would like to travel more. I lived in Japan for three years. My Grandma who is 94 brought me to my first Mass. I like camping and being outdoors.

Hey, my name is Anna. Folks call me A.Bee or AnnaBee. I'm here on Catholic match because I am searching for friends. My social network is small where I live and I don't get out much. Hoping to change that! I'm not into the party/bar/club scene, but I do enjoy going out in small group settings and enjoying a beer upon occasion. At heart, I am a homebody but I'm finding that the time I spend at home is getting lonely..... I spend a lot of my free time with my dog 'Reuben,' and my family. I come from a very large catholic family, I'm the eldest of 11 kids and as of June, two of my younger brothers will be married:). (At the age of 27, I'm starting to wonder when it will be my turn!) I am close with my family, though I no longer live at home. I have an apartment in my home town and live about 15 minutes from them. I am currently attending college and would like to become a nurse or a doctor. I work 30 hrs a week as an in-home care giver and I'm fond of my work.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure how to describe myself online. Perhaps a good place to start is to say that I feel life is an enormous blessing and adventure both inside and out. I try each day to live that philosophy and perhaps consequently, do a fair amount of living outside conventional boxes. :) In no particular order, here is a little glimpse into what makes me me. My family and faith are a huge part of my life. I grew up in Europe, I love music (jazz, classical, you name it), photography, psychology, theology and, in my spare time I teach dance. I also race cars, love getting engine grease on my hands, work in an engineering related industry, and dream of getting a dirt bike. I am often found joking around and having fun and pretty much anything outside makes me happy...gardening, biking, hiking, kite surfing, skiing, backpacking or swimming in mountain lakes. I feel friendship is the first step in building a strong relationship and I am seeking to connect with those that feel the same!

I look forward to meeting my soulmate, someone to spend leisure time with, to laugh and have fun with. To enjoy the outdoors, good movies, music and to sit side by side with. Someone to go to church and pray with. I believe I am a compassionate person and a good listener. I hope to be a friend to you and maybe start new possibilities. Together, we would enrich our lives and never regret that we did not try.

I am a person who is country through and through. I love being outdoors, hiking, seeing the sites that only God can create. I love the Eucharist and all that it stands for; what Jesus has given us. I am a convert and love the Catholic faith!! I feel at home here in the Catholic faith and could not imagine life without it. I like dancing, exploring new things, horseback riding, gardening and going for long drives with a picnic at the end of the ride or a little out of the place for a nice, unexpected meal. I love spontaneity as well as planned things but one never knows how the plan is going to end up. If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans; His may be whole lot different than yours!!! I am a mother and grandmother. I am fun loving and love to laugh!

I would really like to try to find a partner who shares my deep comfort in the Mass. An unwanted divorce helped me learn the importance of keeping an open mind while staying true to one's own beliefs and needs. I am active, healthy, and would like to travel more. I tend my introverted self by reading and hiking and generally focusing on a quiet, peaceful existence of gratitude. I've been told I have a sometimes dark sense of humor; and I adore animals. My three daughters and I are close and I am fortunate that they appreciate their old mom. I'm not in any way conservative, so if you need that to be a thing in a partner, I'm probably not right for you. Finally, I am in the annulment process. It's important to me to be free to marry again, if it's God's will.

I am a creative/dreamer type who has a unique way of seeing things. I'm often misunderstood, but a lot of that is because I don't find it easy to concisely put into words my unique perspective. I care a lot about people and leading a good life. I feel personally hurt by injustices in the world. I consider and analyze most things very deeply and thoroughly. My guess is that all of this is why I am so strongly on the melancholic side of temperament. I'm not negative or pessimistic, though. I'm introverted and keep my personal world to myself, for the most part. But connection, rare as it is, brings a very social, passionate, fun side out of me. I love meaty conversation, but small talk is exhausting so I usually avoid group mingling activities in favor of one-on-one socializing. I find reasons to laugh most every day. Clean humor is necessary for a good life. My humor might be on the odd end of the spectrum, but I enjoy it! I'll walk around with a goofy grin on my face because of some funny thought in my head and people smile or laugh at me--even if no one get's what I find so humorous. That makes me laugh even more! Smiles and laughter are contagious. I'm a Catholic convert of about 6 years, but I've been seriously invested in my Christian faith since my Methodist conversion and baptism at age 15. Converting to Catholicism was the same for me as I have heard from so many Protestant converts: It felt like coming home. Catholic answers have put to rest many lifelong questions that plagued me about such things as suffering, what is my purpose, and how is the best way to live. From my first introduction to St. John Vianney, my favorite Catholic devotion is learning about the lives of the Saints. They are my role models. Being Catholic isn't just something about me. It is the fiber from which my whole life story is being woven. I love being Catholic!

I loved Jesus as a Protestant and I love Him even more now that I'm Catholic. I'm passionate about the relationships in my life, serving others, being active at my parish, serving the Lord in a unique way at my job, travelling, liturgy - especially Latin, The Muppets, and loving everyone I meet.

Family and faith are very important to me. I put my heart into everything I do. I am a very passionate person who loves and respect people. I want to find someone who has the same values when it comes to family. I want to find someone who knows how to love a strong woman.
  • Dee, 35 from Portland, OR

Family is important. I like a honest, kind, faithful person to be part of my life. I am independent. I believe in the saying 'treat others like you want to be treated'. I am loyal, humble and many good characteristics.
