  • Ann, 68 from Portland, OR
    68, Portland, OR
I am an independent woman who is very happy with life, but having someone to share walks, talks dinner, theater, and antiquing with would add to it. I enjoy gardening and taking walks with "Toby" my rescued shih tzu. I do not care for cats as I am highly allergic.I started a new hobby, clamming on the coast, which is a blast! I have raised 2 very successful children who are out on their own. My 3 grand daughters are the light of my life. If you are interested in meeting a mature woman, not a "barbie" then please give me your contact info. If not, then may blessings come your way anyway! Good luck in your search for companionship.

I am a piano teacher and musician. I recently have been drawn back to the Catholic church. I enjoy attending daily Mass. I enjoy my contemplative time alone. However,it would be nice to meet a man who would enjoy going to church, prayer and bible study in addition to the usual "dating" activities. :)
  • Aimee, 28 from Portland, OR
    28, Portland, OR
Hi, I'm Aimee. I'm an editor who adores a compelling book and a strong cup of coffee. My main hobby is swing dancing, so I won't be able to sit still if you put on a good song! I'm also pretty involved in my parish, and I enjoy going to concerts and other artistic things. I recently returned to the Northwest and am excited to explore it again, so let me know if you want to check out a brewery, venture to a waterfall, or cheer on the Timbers!
  • Irene, 62 from Springfield, OR
    62, Springfield, OR
Although I've had a fulfilling career I'm happily anticipating cutting back to part-time soon. I recognize that time is a precious commodity; especially when one still has decent health. I look forward to retirement and the opportunity to develop a couple of hobbies I've wanted to pursue, volunteer with a couple community agencies I support, travel, and definitely spend more time with friends and family. I was fortunate to have had a wonderful and loving marriage and, while I am self-sufficient and content, I genuinely miss the sense of closeness and caring of a companionable relationship with a like-minded man. I love to sing and have done so for many years with my church choir. I enjoy reading and learning new things and I like to keep up with current events; even in these difficult and disheartening times, politically-speaking.

Welcome to my profile page. As strange as it has felt to develop a profile page, I will be the first to say it is also fantastic that CM exists! It would be challenging to find the kind of man I want to give my heart to anywhere else. I like planning and scheduling, but am blessed to enjoy don't spontaneity. I am a flexible person that knows how to "bounce". I love Jesus and strive to do his will by following the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I like to walk and talk or ride a bike with others as often as the opportunity presents itself. I enjoy showing hospitality and have had many people say it is one of my gifts- welcoming people. I like to read, exercise, volunteer, and spend time with family and friends in a variety of activities. Traveling and exploring new places and new restaurants is a favorite past time. I have been so blessed to work as a youth minister and teacher over the years. I am currently substitute teaching, so that summers and weekends are free. I have five beautiful children (greatest blessings indeed), all of them adults now; the youngest just finished his first year of college. Once a friendship is established, I pray that if a dating relationship is meant to be, that God will make it very evident. The greatest blessing will be that that one male friend AND my five children AND his children (if any) will all "hit it off" in such a grand way that blessings would abound for all!
  • Michelle, 62 from Eugene, OR
    62, Eugene, OR
I was baptized as an infant and attended CCD classes and vacation Bible school until about 12 years of age. My Mom divorced my Dad before I was two years old, and when she was only 18. I didn't meet my Dad until I was 10 years old. I began to visit him in the summers, and he was influential in leading me away from the Church into New Age occult practices. I spent the next 30 years "searching for myself" as they say. For a while I tried different protestant Churches. Then I began reading self-help books, took workshops, learned astrology, wore crystals, and went to listen to the wisdom of channelers, among other things. When I went to graduate school at the University of Oregon, I dropped all such practices and was "unchurched" for at least 10 years. Then in a way I can't explain, I kept getting a recurring thought to go back to Church, to go back to the Catholic Church. It took three years before I acted on that thought and called a priest. That was in March of 2007. The priest I called was a Dominican. We set up an appointment, and that was that. I had to learn all over again how to be Catholic. But spending most of my life away from the Church had shown me all the ways that people can go wrong--even when they're desperately searching for what is right. I just fell into the arms of Mother Church and wanted to learn all she had to teach. At one point, I was feeling very sorry and unworthy for many terrible sins in my life. In tears I opened my Bible "randomly" right to the story of the prodigal son. I almost couldn't believe it. My pastor helped me with an annulment of my marriage to the father of my 3 children. 2 years ago, my second husband died. Today, the Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of my life. I try to attend Mass daily. I love our Lord, our Blessed Mother, a lot of angels and saints, and our Church. I volunteer a lot of my time with parish activities and a local Catholic charity where I help with accounting. I'm just trying to discern if God has a man he wants me to meet...

Genuinely connecting with people in my life, being active and adventurous (hiking, camping, triathlon, rock climbing, tennis), exploring nature here and in as many foreign countries that I can get to, music (piano, guitar, listening), and learning! I love being active and I love cooking new and fun recipes! I also love exploring new craft breweries/restaurants around town.
  • Glenna, 36 from Portland, OR
    36, Portland, OR
I'm independent, laid back and career driven but i also love adventure. I like to be spontaneous at times like taking a drive to the beach late at night or maybe driving up to Seattle and staying the night at a hotel up there. I love anything from sporting events to just kicking back and watching a movie. I also enjoy checking out new restaurants, hiking, going to the mtn ( I snow board but not very good at it!) and exploring new places. God is a very important part of my life so i want someone who shares similar values as me. I attend mass weekly. Its really important to me that the man I end up loves God and will be leader in our spiritual faith. I want to grow in my relationship with God so it means a lot to have a man who will want to attend church together. I like a guy who's confident, sweet, and motivated with his own goals and ambitions but also knows how to have fun. I value relationships with my family and friends. I have a big heart and tend to go out of my way for people. I love my career and am thankful for the education I received to get there. I believe having God as the foundation of your relationship, having open communication, honesty and loyalty are keys to a lasting relationship. I believe it is important to never stop "dating" your partner to keep the sparks alive!
  • Rena, 68 from Portland, OR

I look forward to meeting my soulmate, someone to spend leisure time with, to laugh and have fun with. To enjoy the outdoors, good movies, music and to sit side by side with. Someone to go to church and pray with. I believe I am a compassionate person and a good listener. I hope to be a friend to you and maybe start new possibilities. Together, we would enrich our lives and never regret that we did not try.
