27, Portland, ORMy Faith and family are the most important things in my life! I live in the country and love the outdoors but also love getting dressed up for a nice dinner and night on the town. Oh did I mention I love food - all of it - but especially the "world's best cheesecake" at Calico's in St. Louis. If you haven't tried it, it is definitely worth the trip ;) We are all on borrowed time so it's important to remember and live our lives for God which includes enjoying the beautiful world He created :) Some of my favorite things include Netflix, listening to comedians, hiking, boating, camping, bonfires, floating the river, accomplishing goals, my nieces and nephews, lazy mornings with a cup of coffee, late night talks, concerts, reading, dancing, Crossfit, big family breakfasts on Sunday...the list goes on....Anything else you would like to know just message me - I love meeting and talking to fellow Catholics or just anyone for that matter :) I am fluent in two languages (English and sarcasm) and am working on learning Spanish as well! Fun facts: I own a gun - I used to think I was adopted - I collect shot glasses - I have a huge fear of sharks - I can't whistle

23, Vale, ORMy faith is very important to me. I am looking forward to starting my own family someday, and am considering homeschooling any future children. I love to stay active. I currently live in Vale, where I am also working as a CNA. My family is also very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them (my nieces in the picture). I also grew up on a dairy farm and like the small town life.
26, Happy Valley, ORHello there:) I'm trying catholic match again after taking some time to work on myself (I think that's so important for us young people to do) and because I seem to have somehow gotten out of touch with socializing and making new friendships. Everything else about me you'll have to find out:). Xo Noelle

70, Beaverton, ORI like to paint and do artwork occasionally, and also sing. I have been in several choir groups and enjoy performing. I have spent many years boating and like to fish. I am close with my family and grandchildren and see them quite often. The most influential people in my life are God and my children. I enjoy in my leisure time visiting with friends, traveling, seeing a good movie or having a good night out to a local restaurant.
22, Eugene, ORHello, CM land! To be honest, I've never been very good at these "describe yourself" things, but I will do my best. I'm the kind of person who will (usually) let someone else control the car radio even if I don't like the music being played, because I want them to have a good time. I give 110% at work every day, and then I relax by going home and geeking out over a nerdy show and/or writing. My original academic plan was to pursue a Bachelor's of English, but God keeps pulling me (kicking and screaming) towards the social sciences...specifically, Economics and Psychology. Either way, my ultimate dream is to write young adult fantasy novels which can follow in the footsteps of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis by using the fantasy world to introduce/reinforce Christian values in today's youth. I'm kind of attached to my single independence, but I should warn you that I'm very old-fashioned when it comes to courtship and marriage. I believe there is something beautiful in giving up a career in the world to be a stay-at-home Mom. It would be difficult, and I fully expect to go through a period of sadness if/when the day comes that I need to leave the workforce, but God willing I would do it. There's lot more I'd like to say here, but I've chosen to break it up amongst the rest of my answers. If you want to chat, please don't be shy. I look forward to getting to know you.
30, Portland, ORI'm addicted to people and learning, too obsessed with my family, and have 1,000 dad jokes. I have a deep love for my faith and cherish the people that I can share that with.
64, Grants Pass, ORHello! I'm Anita! Pretty much hesitant to post on Catholic Match, but felt the inspiration of what I hope is, the Holy Spirit, to do so! My Prayer: The Prayer Our LORD gave St. Faustina to have us pray: "Not as I want, but according to YOUR WILL, O GOD, let it be done unto me!" Since about the age 25 have wanted to be married, but never met the right man. Just kept waiting for God to send him, if it's God's will. So, this endeavor is new, but we shall see if God acts in any way! Authentic love, would be my favorite thing in this world. God bless all who visit this post!

27, Salem, ORVeritas! This motto of the Dominican Order succinctly expresses the ideal of my life: to live in conformity with God's Truth and to be His instrument in passing it on to others. I have broad interests in the humanities, particularly in Latin and literature, but also in theology, history, writing, logic, drama, music, etc. For me, Latin is the language of love because it is the language of divine worship in the Liturgy. What I most appreciate about literature and the arts is how they can powerfully communicate Truth, Goodness and Beauty through the imitation of life -- often in a more convincing way than a technical theological tract. I have particular interest in an integrated educational curriculum which unites history, literature, music, drama, language, science and culture in a thoroughly Catholic theological framework with an emphasis on practical application and hands-on, experiential learning. After five years in a Dominican monastery, I discerned that the cloistered life was not my calling and have providentially been led to teaching, where I believe God now wants me to serve Him and Holy Mother Church.
