61, Philadelphia, PAHi, thanks for viewing my profile. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love visiting the country, especially Lancaster, PA to take home pumpkins and apple pie or driving to the mountains to see the leaves turn colors, browsing at antique shops and flea markets, or just quiet evenings at home reading a good novel with lots of twists and turns (relaxing next to that special someone, of course). I've enjoyed volunteering and previously served as an Honor Guard at the Saint Katherine Drexel Shrine, and also helped coordinate Bereavement Retreats which were held there. Much to my surprise, I received more than I ever gave. My faith is very important to me, and I'm interested in meeting someone who shares similar beliefs and who appreciates the special bond and spiritual connection of attending Mass together. Most of all, I value meeting new friends and take comfort in knowing that I am truly blessed with many life-long friends. They say I'm a treasure. I'll take their word on it.
70, Cresson, PAI'm a mover, a shaker and rocker. Love to dance. I'm from the 50 and 60 era, love that old time Rock and Roll. My husband died in 2007 leaving me with a 16 year old daughter to raise alone. I hate being a widow and miss the male companionship. I take care of a large home and an acre of ground. It's very hard being the man/woman of the house. I'm very active and have a huge immediate family and many friends. I've lived in same town all my life, so I'm really grounded.I have many hobbies and interests. Involved in my community and belong to many organizations and been a member in the American Legion Auxiliary for many years Never practiced birth control of any kind. Unfortunately couldn't conceive, had to adopt my daughter when I was 45, and she's been with me since she's 3 days old. I'm very flexible. Enjoy the computer, volunteering, walking, flea markets, shopping, eating out or in, dancing, night clubs, amusement parks (I don't ride) doing crafts, playing Pinochle and bingo. Very devilish and make friends easily.
26, Cranberry Twp, PAMy name is Genny, I am 26 years old, and I live just north of Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in December 2011 where I rediscovered my love and passion for my Catholic faith. My family (Mom, Dad, and older brother) is extremely important to me and I am very close to them. They have been beside me every step of the way and have helped mold me into the woman that I am today. My friends are also very special to me because they encourage me, support me, make me laugh, and call me on to greater holiness. I absolutely love watching sports, especially football, hockey, and college basketball. I am a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan (Penguins, Steelers, Pirates, in that order) but my college sports allegiance is and always will be to The Ohio State Buckeyes. I also love listening to music, as long as it is not country. Some of my other hobbies include reading, shopping, watching movies, and I'm a sucker for reality television. I am definitely a nurturer, so I am a good listener and I truly enjoy helping others. I definitely consider myself to be a "girly-girl." At first I may seem quiet and shy, but once you get to know me, you'll find out that I love to smile, laugh, and just have fun! If there is anything else you'd like to know, I'd love to hear from you :)
45, Pittsburgh, PAHi! I work in the medical field. I enjoy helping others. I'm into yoga and long walks. I'm close with my family. I attended church every week. 60, Philadelphia, PACatholic is my religious heritage from birth. I went to Catholic schools through grade school and college. Catholicism is significant in the formation of my faith in God and has inspired me to trust and lean on God's promises ! I believe in God, especially his faithfulness. Looking to God a constant source of light throughout the darkness of loss of family and all the darts of adversity.. Significant people: A relative who was martyred for his faith. My father and mother who I recently lost due to age related illness. My husband who passed in 2012 and my brother who passed in 2003, I enjoy growing intellectually and spiritually. I also enjoy activities such as walking the dog, horseback riding , swimming, bike riding, caring for my elderly parents, studying the bible, travel, crafts, visiting churches, listening to christian bands, grooming my animals, a good audio book, a good movie.
26, Pittsburgh, PAHello! I joined this site to see if there is anyone who I am compatible with who has the same religious background. I am very close to my family, which is pretty small. I dedicate myself to my job during the week, and during the weekend, I usually like to just relax, go for a walk, watch some movies, go to the local museum, or go to a local event that may be happening in the area.
31, Philadelphia, PAI'm most passionate about learning to submit to the will of God. This is a constant battle - one that will last a lifetime, but I've learned that rebelliously doing what I want leads to a lack of peace and chaos. There's an indescribable peace when you submit to God's will and learn to trust Him.
22, Philadelphia, PAMaster's student at UPenn studying city planning. New to Philadelphia but loving living in West Philly so far! Love architecture, coffee, and snowy days.
37, Morgantown, PAHello friend! I converted into the Church in 1999. I have a deep love for the Holy Eucharist. One of my favorite things is going to adoration and being alone with Jesus. I love those simple yet holy moments. It seems like most of us don't take those moments enough, myself included. I love photography, especially taking pictures of animals and the beauty of nature. I also love taking walks and the simple things. One of my favorite places is Longwood Gardens. It's a place I can get lost in the beauty of nature and can be found there a few weekends a month. It's a place for me to bask in the wonders of God's creation. I have come to realize that every day there are holy moments all around us. We just have to open our eyes and enjoy those moments. I love the little things because they are what really matter in life. :D
48, Murrysville, PAGentlemen: Thanks for visiting my page. I write a lot professionally and it's still hard to find the words for this box, so I'll start by telling you what's on my mind and in my heart. I see couples all the time and wonder how they found one another. They're sitting outside a diner waiting for brunch and reading the newspaper. They're taking in the fireworks after a ballgame. They're walking hand in hand down the trail along the river. They're sitting next to one another in church. Sometimes he's outside cutting the grass while she's washing the car. Sometimes there's a lot of conversation and sometimes there's a full and easy silence. Sometimes they're going on vacation, but a lot of times they're just going to the grocery store. Many times, I envy them. I know that looks can be deceiving and that real relationships take work. But I'd like to think that some of these folks are happy, committed, and enjoying the truly good things in life: faith, family, friends. I have an opening for a best friend. One that enjoys long walks, meaningful conversations, and making me laugh. Someone who understands that I can take care of myself, but still want to be taken care of. Someone who wouldn't mind fixing the shelf in the garage while we fix dinner. Someone who understands that the best way to build a fire goes beyond the initial spark. Someone who enjoys all those things I see those other couples doing. Must love cats. Benefits include someone who: likes to make you smile; can talk business and the Steelers' defense (Pens' power play, Buccos' bull pen); enjoys nights in with takeout or evenings out around town; is interested in learning about you. Eligible for bonuses over course of tenure. Happy to address questions from interested parties. And who knows? Maybe this will be the way we find one another. :)
19, Pittsburgh, PAI am a devout Catholic. I like to read and write. I want to be an author and I'm in school to become a fornsic anthropologist. I am part of a big family whom I am very close to.
