My name is Celia. I am a woman with a personality that is both quiet and passionate, oriented toward intellectual and artistic life. I love life, classical music, arts in general, nature and personal relationships. I would like, as many persons certainly do, to meet my soulmate. I have done graduate studies myself, so I would like to meet a man who loves arts, culture and classical music. I can be strong and caring for those I love, so I would seek thoses qualities in a man. I smile easily and am easy-going, but with a strong temperament. I am single and 60 years-old. I look younger and take good care of myself.

Hi, My name is Linda and I was born in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. I had a French Catholic father and an English Protestant mother. I was married in 1979 in an old Catholic Church to a wonderful man....we were married for 36 years. He died this year quickly of stage 4 esophagus cancer; he was 63. I was a teacher until my retirement, when my husband fell ill. I love to travel, but I also enjoyed being at home with my husband. My favourite t.v. programs were NCIS , NCIS Los Angeles, NCIS New York, Elementary, etc. I watch the mass everyday on EWTN. And I belong to a beautiful old local Catholic Church where I attend the service in French. I speak French fluently. I taught for 2 years in England on an exchange and travelled throughout Europe. I love to read....my husband loved to cook. I like all types of food. I would like to write a book but must discipline myself to make time. I play bridge with some friends once a week, and I enjoy that. I visit my 93 old mother in a residence on Sundays. I have lots of friends and acquaintances, I belong to Cursillo, I'm in my 3 rd year of the St. Ignatius Spiritual Exercises, I belong to the Dart Club at the local legion. I make sure to stay active and be with people and this, and especially my faith, has helped me deal with the recent changes in my marital status from happily married to a widow. I am very friendly, outgoing, emotionally supportive, kind, and happy, I like to read a lot but again find that I lack the time to read as much as I want. Although it's easy to read on a beach, and on holiday. I have one son who is 28 and who lives in Toronto and has just bought a house there with his girlfriend of 8 years....no they are not married yet! He has a good sense of humour and works hard. People respect him. I like going to movies and I have just seen the new James Bond film , Spectre. I have season tickets at my local theatre to see ten operas transmitted live from the Lincoln Centre. I have many childhood friends that I am still in touch with. And new friends too. I live in a bilingual world....many of my groups are French. But I enjoyed living in England for 2 years when I was a teacher on exchange and was even invited to the Royal Garden Party twice....I read French books and had a few French friends there so as not to lose my French...and I taught French there. In Quebec, I taught English to high school students....My mother tongue is English. Hope someone very nice and interesting likes what he has read.

I live in the love, joy and peace of the holy spirit and god our heavenly daddy is very present in my life constantly, and jesus christ is always alive in my heart, so i am always rejoicing and dancing, regardless of my circumstance. At the age of fifteen (15), i consecrated my life to the most sacred heart of jesus, and committed myself to live a life that is holy and pleasing to god. From the age of twenty (20) until forty (40), i helped my beloved mother mary, lovingly and patiently care for intellectually challenged and psychiatric adults in our home. From the age of forty (40) to sixty (60), i joyfully and faithfully cared for my beloved mother mary, who was blessed with the gift of alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease forced mom and i to totally depend on god our father and to trust him for the impossible! our faith, joy, trust, and confidence in god, grew exponentially, as god was at work in our lives through the power of his holy spirit, living in us. Those were the best years of my life!!!!!!! on october 20, 2016, at 1:05 (p. M. ), mom rejoiced as she beheld the beautiful face of our lord and savior jesus christ, and then joyfully danced into the loving arms of god our heavenly father! my joy overflows, because i witnessed the majesty of our god, who, through his devine and glorious power, honored and granted mom her humble request to come with jesus christ to say "good-bye" to me, the moment she entered heaven! and she did! we know for sure, that "jesus is alive!" and that god's love is real! "from your majestic throne, lord, you bend your ear to hear my cry. " (psalm) yes! you, lord have anointed my head with the oil of gladness! my cup is overflowing with your resurrection joy! i love praying for my students and my brothers and sisters in christ, and friends, by encouraging them to cling to god, because god is faithful and true: he can be trusted. Now, i too, can boast with king david as he confidently proclaims; "my lord, you are my light and my strength. . . Who can frighten me?" i love to bake and celebrate my students' birthdays. I enjoy doing research on scientific and nutritional discoveries about health. I love silence, solitude, and stillness before god. I love trying out new recipes. I am a former ballerina, swimmer, runner, gymnast, and badminton player. I love to sing and dance around the house whenever i'm worshipping god. I look like i'm around 40.
