I'm passionate about my faith, my career, and meeting new people. I love participating in music ministry at my Church through playing the flute and singing. I value first and foremost my relationship with God that has helped me through the ups and downs of this life. I enjoy exercise, cooking new recipes, and spending time with friends.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile! I am a dedicated Catholic and, at this point in my life, can't see myself dating someone who is not serious about his faith. Faith, family, and service are probably my three biggest focuses in life. I grew up with four brothers and two loving parents who have strongly influenced my personality and beliefs. Growing up with four brothers has made me competitive and independent, but generally easygoing. I love being outdoors and playing games like wiffleball, football, or croquet with family or friends. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, rock climbing, etc. I'll do most things indoors too. I'm game for charades anytime and I've never been known to turn down a Disney movie marathon. :) A night out on the town or a weekend visiting museums or vineyards is fun too. I like to listen to music, sing, and play the piano. I love kids, and I can't imagine a future where I'm not working with them in some capacity. I've always liked the idea of becoming a foster parent, as I think this serves an important need in our society. I currently teach middle school English and coach track at a Catholic school. I would like to be a saint, but find that I need constant reminders to stay centered on Christ. I would love to get to know anyone who can inspire me to travel that path God has set out for me!

I think I'm a pretty simple person. I don't have anything to hide, I don't have any drama in my life, and I don't need coffee to wake up or medication to be happy. I'm working full-time and am in school part time going for my M.B.A degree. Other than school/work, I like to go sit by the ocean and admire the view, walk on the cliffwalk, practice my cooking skills (because I need A LOT of practice), and hanging out with my sis and friends. I'll end this intro with one of my favorite quotes (taken from the classic tv show: The Wonder Years). It seems appropriate to share here: "All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope....all the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us."

For starters, I love to laugh! I am motivated, hard working, but also fun loving and caring. I am passionate about helping people and becoming the best version of myself. Music, dancing, family, photography, and trying new things is what I love most; variety is the spice of life! Some of my favorite things to do is make my friends laugh, watch a good movie, and meet new people. Admittedly I laugh at my own jokes (at least other people are often laughing too), but I think a good sense of humor is so important. People are always most beautiful when they smile.

The most important relationship in my life is the one I have with Jesus Christ. After that it's my dog, Lester. I'm a community health nurse and I'm passionate about using my skills to help those most in need. I have a lot of experience doing mission work overseas and that's something I'd like to share with my future spouse and family. I come alive when I'm serving the poor. My wanderlust is insatiable. In the past 18 months I've been to seven new countries. My health (physical, spiritual, and mental) is extremely important to me, and I work hard at keeping my life balanced.

Hi! I am a missionary with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). I am from St. Louis, MO and I love being from the Midwest even though I am currently a transplant to the Northeast. Some of the most important things in my life are my faith and my family. As a missionary, I love that it is my full time job to get to know people from all walks of life and I get to hear their stories as well as to share my own. I have enjoyed traveling around the US as well as to several other continents but some of my favorite things are still a good home cooked meal and a long walk. I am addicted to tea (no thank you to coffee :)) and crocheting and I would be hard-pressed to find a hobby that I don't like. Recently I have rekindled my love of reading and I am working my way though my bookcase of books that I have collected over the years. I am sure there are plenty of more interesting things about me but for now that's all!

I enjoy the fine arts, whether it be performing, or watching a performance; live music and theater are my favorite mediums. I also enjoy doing things that allow me to experience and appreciate all of God's creations. (So anything that has to do with nature, basically) I love people and am searching to learn as much as possible so that I can be best suited to help them. I am a Political Science and Theology double major and am in total awe of the beauty that Truth can bring to one's ideas about society. I recognize that, as a fallible human being, I have a lot to learn and I am a firm believer that there is always something to be learned from others. I genuinely seek to be a witness to Christ's love and mercy in every interaction I have with others.

I do not fit in any one box and, and typical of any one trait. I can be pretty quirky at times and and silly when necessary. I love cooking, especially baking, but I hate icing for some reason. It does not sound rational but yet my baked goods still taste great nevertheless. I'm always up for a new challenge, and so a few years ago, I started hiking. It's relaxing, therapy, invigorating, and allows for such a clear mind, not to mention the thrill and joy when you push yourself. Completely contrast to that, I enjoy having a cigar now and again. I started playing golf a year ago and really enjoy it. I don't have a handicap yet, unless you count the fact that I'm even out there. I look foreword to getting better and actually being able to play the whole course. In my book, professional sports only matter August-February. The best part to the beginning of football season is the first game always fall on or just about my birthday. I love working with children, always have. I have been in a search for where my true passion is and which career path I should take. In 2009, my bestfriend became pregnant, and soon found out that her daughter had spina bifida. At the time, I just became a Teacher Assistant and thought I was where I was supposed to be. It just so happens that I was working with children with various disabilities. I'm unsure how long it took, but I knew by the time I walked out the NICU the first day after the baby had surgery, that I belonged there. I've had great experiences working with children with autism, aspergers, and fragile x. As many advances that has been made for children on the spectrum, there is so much more work. As I advance my career, I hope I can make a difference for them and better support for their parents. I'm a bit of a nerd but I fully embrace that label. I'm not sure when liking to read an actual book "went out of style", but I'd like to stay out of style if that's the case. Books have always been an outlet for me; a way to escape. It will take a while for me to open up, longer than most people. Don't mistake shyness for lack of interest. I aspire to continuously improve myself...intellectually, physically, and spiritually.
