57, Providence, RILife is filled with wonder and blessings. I love sharing and conversing about all of it. And, of course, there's the element of humor in everything. I love to laugh! As a life-long New Englander, not much makes me smile more than a Red Sox win, a brisk evening out on my deck, or the many amazing Italian restaurants we have here. I also enjoy hosting dinner parties and going to see anything in the arts, from a concert to a movie to a play. Im a big advocate of balance in life, in whatever way that can be achieved. The last thing, but certainly not the least, is my faith. I have a very active spiritual life, and sharing that is important to me. I sing and play guitar at mass, which is a great way to start off a Sunday morning after a cup of coffee, of course. :)
52, Pawtucket, RII am 46 years old and the mother of 5 children. I was married for 20 years and am recently divorced and will soon begin the process of an annulment. I am currently unemployed, looking for a job and considering going to school for some short term training. I consider myself to be attractive and in good physical condition, I exercise on a daily basis. I am easy to get along with, funny, intelligent, fun to be with, trustworthy and honest. I enjoy doing many things and am willing to try new things. I love being outdoors, bike riding, walking, going to the beach. My children range in ages 7 - 15. I consider my and have been told that I am a true lady. I do not use foul language and do not accept it from anyone else. I believe in respecting people. I take my faith seriously and it is an important part of my life. I like to cook and bake for my family and friends. I always have a smile on my face and always try to be upbeat.
47, Westerly, RIThank you for reading my profile. First and foremost, I am grateful for the gift of the Catholic faith. I have grown a lot in my love for Christ and His Church and want to grow more, hopefully with my husband at my side! Admittedly I am somewhat of a late-bloomer and a late-starter, and a tad shy :-). But alas, finding a like-minded Catholic man where there is mutual interest in this day and age is not easy. I have hope though. He's out there. A big part of my love for the faith has been my attendance at the traditional Latin Mass every Sunday. I've been attending for years now, and it's easily the highlight of my week. The reverence and palpable sense of the sacred keep me coming back to this liturgy. It truly is a beautiful way to worship Our Lord. Temperamentally speaking, I am melancholic/choleric, which is a pretty accurate description. I enjoy conversation on lots of topics from current events, politics and culture to history and philosophy, and of course the faith. There's nothing better than spending time with someone where the conversation is edifying, fun and flows naturally. I do enjoy the outdoors and like to keep fit. I prefer keeping it simple when it comes to activities - like being around my young niece and nephews, working outside in my mom's yard (whether gardening or mowing the lawn or stacking wood), exercising, cooking or reading on the patio with a glass of wine. Travel is definitely something I hope to do more of in the future - not alone though. As far as my family, my siblings and I were raised by amazing parents who were married 45 years. My father has since passed away (fittingly, on the feast day of St. Joseph), but left an example of courage, kindness, intellectual strength and a strong devotion to the Truth of the faith. I'm trying to follow his example. I have a great relationship with my mom who needs my help more and more these days. To date, I am blessed with 2 nieces and 7 nephews. Kids bring a joy to life that is contagious. I look forward to hearing from you!
30, Newport, RII think I'm a pretty simple person. I don't have anything to hide, I don't have any drama in my life, and I don't need coffee to wake up or medication to be happy. I'm working full-time and am in school part time going for my M.B.A degree. Other than school/work, I like to go sit by the ocean and admire the view, walk on the cliffwalk, practice my cooking skills (because I need A LOT of practice), and hanging out with my sis and friends. I'll end this intro with one of my favorite quotes (taken from the classic tv show: The Wonder Years). It seems appropriate to share here: "All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope....all the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us."
52, North Smithfield, RIWelcome to a little window into my life. Thank you for your curiosity. I'm a sophisticated farm girl/artist from Oregon. I teach art at the high school level. College brought me to Rhode Island. I have been Catholic for 25 years. It was the single best decision I've made in my life. I am passionate about many things... my faith, my family, politics, nature, good health, and art. I keep myself busy but would like to have someone in my life to share life experiences with. I have four sons who tower over me. They have been helping me with my latest project. We have been building a house. It's been a great experience together with challenges and successes. We've all learned new skills which will be with us for a life time. Fortunately and unfortunately this project is almost finished. The next project will be something simpler...like learning to play an instrument.
64, Cumberland, RIDescribing myself is a challenge because I realize my description would be different from those who know me well. However, I think it's safe to say I'm loyal, respectful of other people's feelings, active, and I enjoy the simple things in life. One example would be seeing deer walking through my yard when I look out the kitchen window. I have a deep appreciation for what the good Lord had provided for me. I'm healthy, have a good life, great kids, nice job, good family and wonderful friends. I guess I'm an optimistic person. Intelligence in a man is most attractive to me. If he has a good heart and is kind and thoughtful, he's a keeper! Initially, physical appearance is somewhat important, but is not at the top of the list. I'm interested in the person. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
29, Providence, RIThe most important relationship in my life is the one I have with Jesus Christ. After that it's my dog, Lester. I'm a community health nurse and I'm passionate about using my skills to help those most in need. I have a lot of experience doing mission work overseas and that's something I'd like to share with my future spouse and family. I come alive when I'm serving the poor. My wanderlust is insatiable. In the past 18 months I've been to seven new countries. My health (physical, spiritual, and mental) is extremely important to me, and I work hard at keeping my life balanced.
21, North Smithfield, RIHi! Thanks for stopping by. I'm a very enthusiastic, geeky person and I'm passionate about a lot of things, but my oddball family is most important to me. I also love music, drawing, writing, and getting way too invested in TV shows. Though I am a goofy person, I still enjoy just being quiet and relaxed sometimes, so it would be great to meet someone who understands and shares that. Last but not least, my faith is important to me. It is a beautiful and amazing faith, and even though I do struggle with it as everyone does, I could never live without it.
60, Newport, RIFamily and faith are important to me. And I do enjoy my job(s), But sharing my down time with someone would add a more to my life. Dinner and a movie are always a great way to share time.
